      Hi Leute!
Gewinnwachstum 1999/2000(e) 500% 2000/2001(e) 150% weiter anhaltend.

      Also, here we are!
      Powerbulls

      Grüße an alle!

      Hi Leute!
      Also, ~30 Cent 2000, und ~60 Cent 2001.

      Soweit, so gut!
Übrigens gerade 10% im Plus! Aber ohne wirkliche Umsätze!

      Hi Leute!
Habe nichts dagegen, wenns so weiter geht!

      ---
I just received some info on ttgn.
From my broker today. Dane Rousch is holding their prediction of ttgn going to 15 by the year end. I still have to read all 4 pages of info about ttgn they sent, but it all looks good
      ---

      Grüße an alle!

----------------------------------------------------------------------MANFRED KRUEGER - TUTOGEN MEDICAL INC
      (TTGN.OB)
      CEO Interview - published 06/12/2000

      DOCUMENT # KAE621

MANFRED K. KRUEGER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tutogen
Medical, Inc. Under his guidance, Tutogen`s revenues have increased 29%
over the last year, and its net income was more than three times that of
1998. He continues to transform Tutogen from a tissue processing company
to a significant medical device manufacturer. Under his leadership,
Tutogen has recently entered into a strategic alliance with Sulzer
Medica for the worldwide distribution of its patented state-of-the-art
Tutoplast` processed bone tissue for spinal applications. Prior to
joining the company in June 1997, Mr. Krueger was Executive Vice
President of Fresenius Critical Care International, a division of
Fresenius Medical Care, AG. The division was founded in 1991 under his
leadership and grew into a substantial business with an average annual
growth of approximately 40%. Prior to Fresenius, Mr. Krueger held
management positions with Squibb Medical Systems and American Hospital
      Supply.

      Sector: biotechnology

TWST: Could we start with a brief overview and history of Tutogen?

Mr. Krueger: Tutogen was re-established about six years ago and was a
spin off of a pharmaceutical company in Germany. The group started the
tissue service and tissue servicing 20 years ago with a company called
Pfrimmer-Viggo GmbH. Pfrimmer-Viggo started marketing the products in
1987 in the United States. Biodynamics was their sole, exclusive
distributor for the US. Six or seven years ago, Biodynamics decided to
buy the group of Pfrimmer-Viggo and set up a public company named
Biodynamics, and we renamed the company Tutogen Medical, Inc. two years
      ago.

TWST: What are your products today?

Mr. Krueger: Tutogen started trying to figure out how to treat a
biological product and see what the industry could do with a biological
product. They started using different materials like dura mater, fascia
lata and pericardium. And they process it in the chemical treatment,
which is called the Tutoplast` process, a patented and valuable
technique to inactivate viruses and provide a material that is very
suitable for tissue repair, for example, if a patient has an absence of
tissue, or there is an accident and you have to replace soft tissues. At
a later stage, Tutogen discovered that you could treat bone in the same
way. So, they treated bone and created a Tutoplast process for bone
tissue, hard tissues and soft tissues. Then, when I came on board
approximately three years ago, I started thinking about the process,
started to the look at the material, and thought, well, that is not good
enough. We have to do much more additional work to the product to really
get a final product, that is, an implant out of the tissue. It means
that you take a piece of bone, you machine tool it to get a screw or you
get a nail or you get a plate, which you then can use instead of a
titanium or plastic implants. So my vision of the company is to
transform it into a medical device manufacturer, to eventually replace
those products that are made out of steel, titanium and plastic.

TWST: Where do you stand in that process?

Mr. Krueger: We are working on it full-steam. We signed one of the first
contracts one and a half years ago with Mentor Corp., which has a
urology division. They invented an operational procedure to treat
incontinence through an operation called the sling procedure. In the
sling procedure we provide a piece of designed fascia lata, which has
more than an 80% success rate. We also recently signed major contracts
with Sulzer Medica to develop a spinal fusion product line to be
introduced to the market by the end of this calendar year. This line
will consist of machine-tooled bone products, which we believe will
eventually replace titanium and plastic implants.

TWST: Now, what is the benefit of replacing existing technology titanium
      with your product bone?

Mr. Krueger: The nice thing about it is you can take a biological
product processed by the Tutoplast procedure that will be accepted by
the body. The body is changing the natural product into a vital piece of
bone again, whereas titanium will always remain a strange or foreign
element in the body. In many cases, you have to re-operate and take the
titanium out again. Just to give you an example, if you break a leg
seriously, you sometimes get a nail, and the bone is nailed again until
the healing process has proceeded. And six or 12 months later when the
bone has healed and grown together again, you have to take out the
titanium screws and pins or whatever you have put into the leg. With a
biological product, you can leave the same products ` screws and pins `
in the bone, and it will basically become the patient`s own bone again,
      the biological bone again.

      TWST: So they will integrate?

Mr. Krueger: They will integrate, yes.

TWST: How big is this market?

Mr. Krueger: Anywhere between $1 billion and $8 billion. Now, that is
slow moving process at this moment. We expect to see rapid growth very
soon. And soon means anywhere between six months and two years. Once we
can convince physicians, and certainly patients, that we have a much
higher quality, more natural product that works, then they will try a
lot of other applications. Today we have acceptance in dura
replacements, sling procedures, spinal fusion cages, and bone healing
programs, but there is so much demand on implants that it basically
could replace all sorts of orthopedic replacements like hip joints,
cartilage and all these kinds of things that are very expensive to
society today. Many of these products really don`t last because a hip
replacement today done on a fairly active patient usually means that you
have to do some re-implants, or a revision of the implant, within three,
five or six years. They do not last.

      TWST: Your product will last?

Mr. Krueger: Yes, because it becomes your own tissue again.

TWST: So it really just changes over time.

Mr. Krueger: It will be absorbed. The absorption process of the tissue
will re-generate again. That is scientifically proven. Again, we have
done that for the last 20 years.

TWST: So all this has been approved, the tests have been run?

Mr. Krueger: Yes, in Europe we have CE-Mark for the product, which is
equivalent to 510K in the US. In the US, we work under FDA regulations.

TWST: How do you educate the medical establishments about the benefits
of this and get them to change tried-and-true titanium or plastic
      implants for yours?

Mr. Krueger: I do not think we have to train the medical society so much
about it because tissue has been used for a long time. The problem was
to provide biomechanical strengths of it and to provide the finished
piece that the surgeon can use and put it in without changing the tissue
itself. But the bigger issue was to also find a partner with a lot of
experience in the instrumentation and the surrounding operational field
because you must open the body and open the areas where you want to
insert the implant. And all that needs a very experienced company with
access to the customer that obviously Tutogen did not have on its own.
But a company like Sulzer Medica, which has been in the orthopedics
market for many years, has that access. That also provides us the access
to the customer. So our job is really to train a sales force and product
managers of the traditional orthopedic companies to understand the
difference between biological products and an artificial product like
      titanium.

TWST: How long will that process take?

Mr. Krueger: We signed the contract with Sulzer two months ago, and we
are now in the designing process on how the product should look and what
the instrumentation should be. Again, I can say that we are probably
going to be coming to the market in the last part of this year.

TWST: From a cost point of view, how does your product stack up vis-?-
      vis the existing ones?

Mr. Krueger: We have very little competition. If you talk about the
marketplace, let`s call it a $6 billion marketplace in conventional
orthopedic implants, you`re talking about artificial products. For
example, if you compare the price of a titanium cage to a bovine
Tutoplast implant, I don`t think there is a big difference in price. If
you compare our product line to a company like Osteotech or Sofamor
Danek, I don`t think there is a big difference in pricing. There`s a
difference in the application, the design and in benefits, but other
than that, I don`t think there is a big difference in pricing.

TWST: In terms of the supply of the material, you`re using bovine?

Mr. Krueger: We use bovine in Europe because it is quite accepted, and
we use human tissues from human donors for the United States.

TWST: When you say human donors, are these cadavers?

Mr. Krueger: Not necessarily only cadavers, but most are cadavers. They
come from tissue banks, and we work very closely together with tissue
banks. We are not a tissue bank; however, we get the donations from the
tissue bank free of charge. We do pay for the scientific programs and
for the work of the medical doctors and things like that. We get tissue
from Europe, including Germany, and also from the United States.

TWST: Is there a sufficient supply?

Mr. Krueger: In human tissues today, I think that there is a sufficient
supply. However, regulatory issues prevent you from getting sufficient
supplies. If you talk about the total market, you certainly would not
have a sufficient supply so you would have to use alternative products
such as bovine material. I believe, eventually, we will see a change
into xenograft materials, which we already have been doing quite
      successfully in Germany.

TWST: Why not go that route here in the US?

Mr. Krueger: I think that has to with the thinking process. The US has a
different attitude toward human tissue ` the US makes it easier to
harvest tissue. Tissue banks are much more common in the US than they
are in Europe, and the acceptance today of human tissue is there. The
field where they`ve been using these human tissues is very narrow; for
example, they use human tissues for replacing heart valves, for
replacing the dura mater when you have a neurological surgical procedure
and are using bone tissues for spinal surgery. I believe that once we
expand into other areas, such as tumor operations or cancer operations
where you have to replace a huge amount of bone, I think we will see a
supply shortage very quickly. That`s why we have decided to apply for
the 510K in the United States for bovine. We don`t have the 510K yet,
but I expect the first application will probably be granted by the end
      of the year.

TWST: You would start using it shortly thereafter?

Mr. Krueger: Yes. We have formed a marketing plan to introduce it into
the United States and provide that product as an alternative as the
      market and the demand grow.

TWST: You said earlier that you have very little competition. Given the
size of the market, why isn`t there more competition?

Mr. Krueger: What I`ve seen so far in the industry is that we have more
than 30 companies in biologics that are moving in different directions.
One biologics company is trying to figure out how to replace the skin on
burn patients, another company is trying to figure out what to do when
replacing a ligament and three or four companies, like ours, are working
on orthopedic replacement of bone and on neurology like soft tissues.
Most of the other companies are essentially start-ups, less than two or
three years old, and for the most part not profitable. We will soon
bring a full spinal line to the market. I also believe that if a company
(either Tutogen or another biologics firm) discovers how to market a
biological cartilage, that the utilization of processed tissue will take
off quickly. Everybody is on the threshold ` of course, some companies
will be absorbed, some companies will be bought out by larger entities
and some companies will make it on their own. We`ve chosen the route of
partnering with Sulzer, which is a major international company based in
Switzerland. Our goal is to remain independent for the time being.

TWST: Is your agreement with Sulzer a sole agreement, or can you work
      with other people as well?

Mr. Krueger: We have a sole agreement on the marketing and distribution
of processed tissue for spinal fusion surgery, and we have further
agreements that are not yet public yet, which will lead us into deeper
cooperation with respect to bone-processed tissue applications. We also
have agreements with Mentor Corp. relating to processed soft-tissue
      applications.

TWST: So are you comfortable working with Sulzer?

Mr. Krueger: So far, yes. I believe that we will establish a solid
business together with them on a worldwide basis, not only in the US.

TWST: What kind of agreement do you have? Is it a formal, written
      agreement?

Mr. Krueger: It`s a formal, written agreement, yes.

TWST: What`s the time frame on it? How long does it run?

      Mr. Krueger: It`s a 10-year agreement. It`s a long-term agreement, and
there`s room for renewing this agreement and extending it into other
areas where processed bone tissue has surgical applications. There are
other related agreements that haven`t yet been made public, so I can`t
share the details at this time. But they`re very interesting, and I
believe they could result in some very exciting medical developments in
the biologics arena in the near future.

TWST: As we look out, is your product (and obviously you`ve got patents
on it) well protected so that it provides a barrier to anybody else
      doing what you`re doing?

Mr. Krueger: If you talk about tissue, you can`t protect them because
you basically can get tissue from a tissue bank. We have traditionally
relied on the patented Tutoplast process as our competitive advantage.
This process has a very thorough virus inactivation process, while
maintaining the structural integrity of the tissue. We are currently
updating the Tutoplast process and have filed for patent protection for
the process. On the implants themselves, every implant we think is
worthwhile to patent, we patent. And we have several patents pending in
the US and Europe. Are they protected? They are patent pending, and we
have done our due diligence to make sure that no one else has these
patents or that there is a potential patent dispute here. We believe
that we have quite a strong position, but you can never be absolutely
certain in this area. But again, I believe that we are quite well
      protected.

TWST: You are at the initial stage of gearing up for this new product
line. Are you positioned? Do you have the right structure and the right
people in place to roll this out and take the market share that you
      think you should have?

Mr. Krueger: Yes. I mean, I didn`t sign the contract and then start to
worry about what structure I should have. When I drew the vision for the
company and the strategy to turn the company around, which I did during
my first two years at Tutogen, I did change the structure of the
company, and I have a highly talented management team in place. And I
started two years ago to educate management to take responsibility for
earnings, and I expanded their responsibility. We`ve been upgrading and
expanding our production facility in Alachua, Florida. They have a good
capacity utilization. We are also under construction in Germany, where
we have the other production facility, so that we can automatically
machine tool products. We have certain business units separate from our
production arm for international sales and marketing. We run separately
our distributor business and, obviously, our OEM licensing agreements. I
      think we have a very strong team here and a very knowledgeable team;
they`re very technically oriented and highly knowledgeable about
biologics. Many of our managers have been with the German division of
the company for 10 years or more. My major challenge in this company was
sales. Knowing that marketing and sales organization are difficult and
sometimes time consuming, I decided to work together with a larger
partner. This partner must also know the surgeon, who knows what
instrumentation you need to put the implant into the body, which is not
our area of expertise. The larger medical device companies know better
than us how to make an instrument for surgery. So that combination, I
      think, is ideal.

TWST: As we look out over the next two or three years, what kind of
growth should investors expect from your existing product line, and then
what should they expect from this new product line?

Mr. Krueger: I would hope that we could double our business next year
with a combination of our exciting product line and business from our
new alliance with Sulzer. We have real upside potential with Sulzer.
I`ve worked for three large companies in my career ` Baxter, Fresenius
and Squibb ` and I can certainly say that my experience with larger
companies is that you don`t enter into an alliance with a smaller
company like ours without expectations of generating substantial
      revenues.

TWST: As you look down the road, is this all going to be internal
growth, or are you looking for acquisitions to fill out your product
      line?

Mr. Krueger: Our primary emphasis will be on internal growth. I do want
to have my own sales and marketing strategy. We have the strategy, we
just have to put it into place. I will also be looking at certain
acquisitions of marketing and distribution organizations, other small
companies in the biologics industry, maybe even a company doing business
in our area that already has market share, tissue sources and similar or
      complementary product lines.

TWST: For investors keeping an eye on the company, what can they use as
a benchmark or milestone over the next year or two to judge whether you
      are meeting your goals?

Mr. Krueger: Certainly they can see what we`ve been doing for the last
two years in Germany and, more recently, company wide. We have gone from
a company with a $10 million NOL and no strategic vision to a profitable
company with a strategic vision and plan to become a leader in the
biologics industry. Now the easiest way to compare the old company with
the new Tutogen is to compare the first six months of this fiscal year
with the comparable period in FY 1999. We have laid the groundwork over
the past year to take our company to the next level; and it may take us
another six months to be fully prepared for what we believe will be an
explosive period of growth ` even more significant than the doubling of
our revenues during this fiscal year.

TWST: Again, for those same investors, what should they worry about?
What keeps you up at night?

Mr. Krueger: What keeps me up at night is certainly the human tissue
issue. If we had the same situation in the US as we have in Europe,
where bovine tissue has become an acceptable alternative, I think we
would have a much easier time because we would not be so dependent on
human tissue. In the US, it seems that there is still too much
dependence on the donation of human tissue. You can only get what people
donate. Then comes the problem of questioning from some groups as to
whether it is acceptable to make a product out of donated tissue and
make money in the process. But can you make a product without paying
people their salaries? So that`s an issue that worries me a lot. In the
same way, consider the issue of donated human tissue in light of the
cost of a heart or kidney transplant. Sure, the kidney is a donation,
but I think the operation costs almost $80,000 and with the $80,000 you
pay the hospital fee, you pay the doctor`s salary, you pay a lot, and
everybody goes home and says, `Okay, I`ve done my work and I`ve been
paid for my part in the process.

TWST: If you did that and you were sitting down with some potential
investors, what two or three reasons would you give them to go out and
      buy the stock today?
Mr. Krueger: The first reason is that if you look at the investment
growth of the future, I can point to two major directions. One is the
communications industry and the other is biologics. I think biologics
will revolutionize the world more than flying a rocket to the moon.
Being in the health industry for a long time, especially with Fresenius,
I saw patients who were maintained for several years on hemodialysis.
These patients were surviving, but they weren`t receiving life-enhancing
treatment. So whenever you can replace an artificial process with a
biological process that enhances quality of life, it is a huge advantage
for the patient. It`s also much less costly to society. Maybe the
current system is good for the industry, but it`s bad for the patient.
So I really believe that biologics will revolutionize the medical world.
And there is so much of a growth factor in biologics that investors
could see a quick and dramatic return.

Sure, the kidney is a donation,
but I think the operation costs almost $80,000 and with the $80,000 you
pay the hospital fee, you pay the doctor`s salary, you pay a lot, and
everybody goes home and says, `Okay, I`ve done my work and I`ve been
paid for my part in the process.ì

TWST: How do you overcome that? Is it just education in the US?

Mr. Krueger: I think it`s also a regulation problem. In the US these
processed tissue products we`re producing and those products which are
produced by Osteotech, RTI, Medtronic and GenSci and others are not
regulated in the same fashion as medical devices or xenograft tissue.
They are distributed under the human tissue bank laws, whereas in
Germany, where we process human tissue, we have a registration under
pharmacology law. So there we are basically selling a pharmacology
product. But that`s not the case in the United States. If the US would
start regulating the product as it is done in Germany, maybe that would
take away the concerns of some critics of the current system of
processing human tissue in the US. I mean, you basically name it what it
is; it`s an implant. It`s an implant for treating certain defects that
we acquired or that we humans inherited or acquired during our lifetime.

TWST: Is there any sign that regulation is on the way?

Mr. Krueger: There is a lot of discussion from the FDA, there is
discussion within the industry, and of course, those companies that are
in that market, companies like ours, who just come in. I wouldn`t have
any problem, so long as the rules are the same for all of us because in
Europe we comply with very stringent regulations. We will accept
      whatever comes.

TWST: As CEO of the company, where are you spending your time right now?

Mr. Krueger: I`m spending most of my time implementing the strategies
we`ve laid down and also trying to get our program started with Sulzer
because that`s basically my current challenge. My first big endeavor was
turning around the company from a losing business into a profitable
enterprise. The challenge now is to show that our alliance with Sulzer
will be successful for both our companies as we bring to market our
processed bone tissue for orthopedic procedures.

TWST: Do you have the balance sheet that you need to bring this product
      to market?

      Mr. Krueger: Yes.

TWST: So financing is not a problem?

Mr. Krueger: Financing is always an issue. But there is much less
financial pressure on the company now than there was 18 months ago. We
are profitable, and we have positive cash flow. This enables us to
provide Sulzer with the product they need and also to meet Mentor`s
requirements. We expect to do more than $6 million this year with
Mentor. That is the result of our hard work over the past two years to
change our organizational structure, improve our financial position,
develop the right kind of strategic alliances, and provide a partner
(when he comes on board) the product he needs on a timely basis. That`s
on its way, and I believe that when we bring our processed tissues for
spinal surgery into the market, we will have the necessary organization
      in place to support it.

TWST: How do you feel about the value the market is currently putting on
      your stock?

Mr. Krueger: I believe that we are undervalued. There is state-of-the-
art technology in this company. Again, coming from a big company, I
don`t really understand it. The only thing I understand is we don`t have
enough float, and we are not really publicly promoted, but there`s
tremendous value. I really believe that we are totally undervalued when
it comes to the current price of our stock.

TWST: Do you think the investors understand what you are doing or they
just haven`t heard enough about it?

Mr. Krueger: I think they haven`t heard enough about it. I mean, our key
investors include Renaissance and Nat West. Renaissance Capital Partners
II, Ltd. owns more than 50% of the stock in Tutogen. This was a money-
losing company for many years, and I believe investors got discouraged.
Only recently have our investors started believing that our turnaround
was real and that we were heading in the right direction. They were very
frustrated ` and I share their frustration because after five years, bad
news is not good for an investor. But I think we have turned the mind of
these investors around, and they see that things are getting much better
than they`ve ever been. Unfortunately, I don`t believe that the larger
investment community has discovered us yet. But I hope and expect that
this will change over the next six to 12 months.

TWST: So is there an educational process to go through?

Mr. Krueger: Yes, we intend to engage the services of an investment
advisor to help us get our message out to the investment community.

      Hi Leute!

      Also hier die Meldung:

      August 08, 2000

      TUTOGEN MEDICAL INC (TTGN.OB)
      Quarterly Report (SEC form 10QSB)
      2. MANAGEMENT`S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL CONDITION
      AND RESULTS OF OPERATIONS
      (in thousands)
      Results of Operations

      Revenue and Cost of Revenue

Revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2000 increased 33% to $3,385 from $2,549 for the comparable period. The increase in revenue was primarily derived from the US operation as it increased its revenue to $1,679 from $1,105 for the same period last year. This is a direct result of the significant revenue performance from the Company`s marketing and distribution alliance with the Mentor Corporation. International revenue increased to $1,706 from $1,444 for the same period last year. The revenue for the nine months ended June 30, 2000 increased 56% to $12,165 from $7,822 for the comparable period.

Gross margins for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2000 increased to 58% from 44% and increased to 47% from 42%, respectively for the comparable periods last year. The improved margins are due to a favorable product mix and higher throughputs at both the US and International operations.

      General and Administrative

General and administrative expenses increased 19% and 12% for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2000, respectively, from the comparable periods last year. The increase is due primarily to expenses associated with the move of the German offices to the Company`s manufacturing site. For the nine months ended June 30, 2000, as a percentage of revenues, General and Administrative expenses decreased from 20% in 1999 to 14% in 2000 demonstrating the Company`s ability to increase revenues while maintaining control of expenses.

      Distribution and Marketing

Distribution and marketing expenses increased 17% and 32% for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2000, from the comparable periods last year. For the nine months ended June 30, 2000, as a percentage of revenues, Distribution and Marketing expenses decreased from 19% in 1999 to 16% in 2000, primarily due to the improved performance of the Company`s marketing and distribution partners.

      Research and Development

Research and development expenses decreased 7% and 32% for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2000, respectively, from the comparable periods last year. The decrease was due to the timing and completion of certain R & D projects. For the nine months ended June 30, 2000, as a percentage of revenues, Research and Development decreased from 4% in 1999 to 2% in 2000.

      Depreciation and Amortization

Depreciation and amortization decreased 54% and 52% for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2000, respectively, from the comparable periods last year. The reduction in depreciation and amortization was attributed to an increase in fully depreciated property, plant and equipment.

      Distribution Fee

The Company entered into comprehensive agreements with Sulzer Spine-Tech, Inc., a subsidiary of Sulzer Medica, for the worldwide distribution of its patented Tutoplast(R) processed bone tissues for spinal applications. Upon execution of this agreement, on March 8, 2000, Sulzer Spine-Tech, Inc. made an initial payment to the Company of $1 million. This transaction was recorded in the second quarter ended March 31, 2000.

      Interest Expense

Interest expense increased 18% and declined 11% for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2000, from the comparable periods last year. The overall decrease in interest was due to the repayment of the revolving credit lines.

      Net Income

Net income for the three months ended June 30, 2000 totaled $605 million or $0.05 basic earnings per share and $0.04 diluted earnings per share as compared to a net loss of $0.1 million or $0.01 basic loss per share and $0.04 diluted loss per share for the same period a year ago. Net income for the nine months ended June 30, 2000 totaled $2,525 or $0.22 basic earnings per share and $0.19 diluted earnings per share as compared to a net loss of $614 or $0.07 basic loss per share and $0.06 diluted loss per share for the comparable period last year. The improvement in results from the comparable period is directly attributable to a 56% increase in revenues, an increase in gross margins from 42% to 47%, the controlling of expenses and the $1 million distribution fee received in March of this year.

      Foreign Currency Exchange

If the average foreign exchange rates for the nine months ended June 30, 1999 were applied to the period ending June 30, 2000, the revenues and net income would have been higher by $644 and $234, respectively.

      Liquidity and Capital Resources

At June 30, 2000 and September 30, 1999 the Company had working capital of $9.8 million and $5.2 million, respectively. The Company maintains revolving credit facilities totaling DM 2.9 million (approximately $1.5 million) with four German banks. At June 30, 2000 the Company had no borrowings against these lines. In addition, in July, the Company obtained a credit facility up to $1.0 million with a U.S. bank.

The Company has experienced a positive cash flow during the nine month period ended June 30, 2000, as indicated by the increase in cash and cash equivalents from $0.4 million at September 30, 1999 to $3.9 million at June 30, 2000.

The Company`s ability to generate positive operational cash flow is dependent upon increasing processing revenues through increased recoveries by tissue banks in the U.S. and Europe, and the development of additional markets and surgical applications worldwide. While the Company believes that it continues to make progress in both these areas, there can be no assurances that changing governmental regulations will not have a material adverse effect on the results of operations and cash flow.

      Hi leute!

      TO ALL: NEWS:

Ran across this and thought I`d post it here. Don`t own the stock, but I`m going to look into it after reading this article.

      Enjoy!

Biomedicine: Nothing But Sky for Tutogen Medical

Miami, FL, August 16, 2000 /SHfn/ -- Tutogen [TTGN] continued its streak of uninterrupted revenue and earnings gains with the release of its third-quarter report, with management assurances that this trend will continue. But an SEC filing reveals that much more is going on at the company. Add all of this to a forthcoming AMEX listing, and the result is a special situation with very little downside risk. Tutogen closed Monday at $5-5/8 a share.

Tutogen Medical processes human tissue for transplantation, and markets and sells its products worldwide. With the introduction of pins for use in orthopedic procedures, the company has begun the move away from being just a processor of bioimplants to being a medical device manufacturer as well.

Tutogen has achieved nine consecutive quarters of revenue growth.

Tutogen has achieved nine consecutive quarters of revenue growth. Revenue increased this quarter to $3.3 million, 33% higher than the year-earlier period. Earnings for the quarter came in at $0.05, versus a loss of $0.01 during the same period a year ago. President and CEO Manfred Krueger told StockHouse yesterday to expect more of the same in the future, although fourth-quarter results might not be as spectacular. The company is tooling up to supply NYSE company Sulzer Medica [SM] the implants necessary for Sulzer to begin a worldwide, broad-based marketing and sales assault with products developed by Tutogen. According to Krueger, Sulzer sales might commence in the next quarter, and should pick up dramatically in subsequent quarters.

And now comes the kicker. According to the SEC Schedule 13D filed by Tutogen on June 28, Renaissance Capital Partners II, owner of a 56% majority of all common TTGN shares, reported that it sold to Sulzer Medica warrants to purchase 250,000 shares in a private transaction. These warrants are expiring, making Sulzer Medica the proud owner of 250,000 shares of Tutogen. And it is doubtful the buying will stop there. Sulzer obviously sees something here that others don`t, so don`t be surprised at additional purchases from whatever source is available.

One of the things Sulzer appreciates is Tutogen`s line of cortical pins. Made of bovine bone, these pins are typically used to fix bone, forearm fractures and small fractures of the hand and foot. Tutofix pins are designed to replace the ubiquitous metal pins now being used. Metal pins are not absorbed into the body, and need to be removed in a second surgery. Not so with Tutofix pins, which are absorbed in the bone. The market is hard to quantify, but is believed to be over $1 billion. Since pins need instrumentation to be implanted, and Sulzer is a leader in metal and titanium instrumentation, the synergies here seem obvious. Management made the strategic decision to bypass NASDAQ and opt for an AMEX listing.

In an earlier StockHouse interview, Krueger promised shareholders a NASDAQ listing in the near future. While an application was made, no listing has ever resulted. At that time, however, two things occurred simultaneously. The increasingly bureaucratic NASDAQ had a massive backlog of work relating to company listings, creating delays for many NASDAQ hopefuls. TTGN`s price during this time sporadically dipped below the NASDAQ minimum of $4 a share, setting the clock back further and further. Rather than wasting more time, TTGN management made the strategic decision to bypass NASDAQ and opt for an AMEX listing. One is expected shortly.

By most measures, Tutogen is a bargain. A price-earnings ratio of 19 compares favorably against the industry standard of 43. The price-to-sales and price-to-book ratios are equally favorable. And playing in the fast-expanding orthopedics market with a nice, new AMEX listing and a partner like Sulzer can only be a good sign.

      wollen.

      Was soll ich tun?

Fan Gemeinde einzusteigen. ( schau mal in Dein Postfach)

      Hi dosto!

      Hallo Zusammen!

Wer von Euch weiß eigentlich was Tutogen genau macht?

      Was macht Tutogen

      Hier einige Bilder entsprechender Produkte:

      -Vollständiger Umbau in körpereigenes Gewebe

Hab gerade noch was interessantes gefunden.

      http://biz.yahoo.com/t/t/ttg.html

      Wait and see!

      Hi powerbulls!

Die Meldung kam NACHTS um 1:58 (1:58am). Könnte sich also morgen etwas tun.

      Hier meine englische Zusammenfassung:
Pinewood, as promised I had a very long discussion today with Mr. Krüger. He was very friendly and informative. I will tell you the most important questions and answers here.

At first I can tell you, that he is reading this board from time to time (also ragingbull), so he knows what´s going on.

I asked him about the Sulzer Deal and when it will affect the revenues. I also asked him about the 60 Million dollar revenues that I´ve heart from a friend. He said that they work very closely together to develop new products, especially new bioimplants and complete surgery solutions (implants and surgery tools). He also told me, that the Sulzer Deal will not affect revenues immediately in full height. It´s a process that have started in September and that will hold on for a long time, especially with the new products. 60 million Dollar revenues seems to be a realistic figure for business year 2001/20002, he mentioned. (Hey guys, that means an 300% revenue increase within 2 years and a price/earnings ratio from below 6, with the same margin as now => great outlook)

Another question was the limit of human donated tissue material and if this could affect further growth. He said, that they recently announced a cooperation with a new tissue bank (I think you all know about the announcement) to secure further growth. But he also mentioned that Tutogen is strengthening the Xenograft business. In Europe the ratio in Tutogens business is about 50/50 (Allograft(human)/Xenograft(animal)) in the US 100% Allograft. With the new FDA approval Tutogen can distribute the first Xenograft products in the US from now on. (As you can see, human donated material will become less important in future). Mr. Krüger also mentioned that bovine material has better quality and can be used for more products than human material.

Next of my questions was the low volume, stock price and institutional interest. Mr. Krüger said, that there is institutional interest and also stock transactions but this transactions do not go over the stock exchange, because the volume is to low. I told him, that I think Tutogen is for most private investors like us an absolutely unknown company. He mentioned that this is a big problem in his point of view and that it is the main reason for the low volume. He also stated that only few people discuss Tutogen in stock boards. They recently started to work together with an company to better promote Tutogen. First step will be more analyst meetings in the US. As an effect Mr. Krüger expect broker coverage and more public interest in future
Next was the move to Amex. I asked if Nasdaq is still an object in future. He answered probably not in the next 24 month. Amex seems to be a good place in moment.

Another question was the strong influence of Capital Renaissance Partner (60% of stocks) at the company and if this is a problem. In this point Mr Krüger refused a comment. (well, I don’t really know, but could be that there are some problems, but that´s just speculation)

Well, this are only some points from my phone call today. All in all, Mr. Krüger seems to be a very realistic man. He is absolutely optimistic for the future of Tutogen but also mentioned that such a progress can never be without problems that a company have to solve. He also told me a lot about his business experience and the turnaround of Tutogen. I will shortly move and start to work in Nürnberg and Mr. Krüger mentioned that I can visit the production facilities close there if I like. Well I will do so, if I have the time and will inform you about my visit..

Sorry pinewood, but unfortunately I forgot to ask about Tutofix. I will ask him next time. But I think most important was the possibility of about 60 million Dollar revenues for 2001/2001.

Let me know what you guys think about Mr. Krügers statements.

The competitor comparison is still not ready but you will get it soon.

Greetings to all longs and as always sorry for my English. ;-)

      Hi Kristian!

New York, NY, November 21 /SHfn/ -- What does a $2.6 billion European medical giant see in a small, sparsely traded American Stock Exchange biotech company? Apparently a great deal. On November 16, Sulzer Medica [SM] reported that it had purchased one million shares of Tutogen Medical [TTG] in a private transaction, adding to the 250,000 share stake it already owned. For a 9.6% stake in TTG, Sulzer paid $6.3 million, which equates to $6.30 a share, 13% above Tutogen`s current share price of $5.56.

In a separate announcement, on November 20 Sulzer said that it wanted "to strengthen its ties with Tutogen" and was tendering up to 50% of the shares in Capital Partners II, which in turn owns 50% of Tutogen. These transactions taken together add up to a possible 35% stake in Tutogen. By paying $30 million for this additional chunk of shares, Sulzer is pinning a market cap of $120 million on the company, $45 million more than it is valued at today. That amounts to $9.02 a share, a 62% gain over Tutogen`s current share price. Even at this premium, shares in Tutogen could still be a bargain.

Tutogen processes human tissue and bone for transplantation, and markets and sells its products worldwide through a series of strategic partners and independent distributors. With the introduction of bone products for spinal applications, the company has begun the move away from being just a processor of bio-implants to being a medical device manufacturer as well.

Asked what Sulzer sees in TTG, President and CEO Manfred Krueger said, "Everything. They are validating the process they bought into." He was referring to previous strategic relationships between the two companies that have been detailed in previous StockHouse reports. In their latest collaboration, Tutogen and Sulzer Calcitek, the dental division of Sulzer, signed agreements to develop biological products for dental surgery, with Sulzer distributing these products worldwide.

The fruits of these collaborations, which have enormous positive implications for TTG, are not currently reflected in TTG`s current revenue, despite a record nine straight quarters of revenue growth. Nor will it appear in the next earnings report, scheduled for mid-December.

An examination of key financial ratios also validates the higher valuation Sulzer accords this company. Price-to-earnings, price-to-sales and price-to-book ratios are all one-half the industry averages. Total debt to equity is 0.10, four times better than its peers.

Price-to-earnings, price-to-sales and price-to-book ratios are all one-half the industry averages.

But the ultimate measure is earnings, present and future. Third-quarter earnings were $0.05 a share, versus a loss of $0.01 in the third quarter of last year. Fourth-quarter earnings are expected to be equally as strong. And laying in potential future earnings from Sulzer to the already successful Tutogen template, earnings could explode.

Strategic partnerships, record revenue and profits, and attentive management have not been enough to elevate Tutogen`s stock price to reflect its true value, or even compare favorably to its peers. Using standard industry criteria, the share price of TTG should be much higher than it is now to be fully valued. Sulzer, by potentially owning 35% of Tutugen`s shares at higher prices, apparently agrees. Taking advantage of the difference between the current share price and what another company is willing to pay for its stock is called value investing. In this case, there is at least $3.74 a share in value here, 67% greater than it is now. And there is probably more to boot.

      von uger 08.12.00 14:14:57 3812323882 TUTOGEN MED. INC. DL-,01

      1. Ist BioTissue (NM) eine Konkurrenz zu Tutogen?

CLIFTON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 2000--Tutogen Medical, Inc. (AMEX: TTG - news) today reported revenues for the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2000 of $3.1 million vs. $3.6 million for the same period last year. Fiscal Year 2000 revenues increased 33% to $15.2 million vs. $11.5 million last year. Earnings for Fiscal Year 2000 were $2.8 million or $0.24 per basic share and $0.20 per share fully diluted, compared to a net income of $0.4 million or $0.04 per basic share and $0.04 per share fully diluted, in 1999. Earnings have increased 700%.

Manfred Krueger, President of Tutogen Medical made the following comments; ``Fiscal Year 2000 was truly a milestone year for us. As a result of Tutogen`s superior tissue preservation technology and the strength of our organization, we were able to forge a series of long term partnerships with Sulzer Medica (NYSE: SM - news), one of the worlds` largest medical technology companies. These partnerships, with Spinetech and Calcitek, wholly owned subsidiaries of Sulzer, will significantly increase the market penetration of Tutogen`s products. Toward this goal Sulzer has prepared various marketing documents which feature those qualities unique to our products, and which gave Sulzer the comfort to partner with us. As Sulzer`s marketing teams are educated about Tutogen`s various products and processes we expect these partnerships to be very fruitful.

``During the 4th Quarter Sulzer became the beneficial owner of approximately 9% of the capitalization of Tutogen, which I believe, reflects their confidence in the future of our partnerships. Speaking on behalf of myself, our employees and shareholders, we welcome them``

Sulzer Medica hält bereits bisher 10 Prozent an Tutogen.

      Hi Leute!

      So long!

      @Powerbulls:

Gibst Du TTG wirklich nunmehr wenig Chancen ???

      Was ist Deine Meinung ?

      HAAAAALLOOOOOO ???

      Hoffentlich bis bald, Kristian
