Das ist doch ein Wachstumswert (G(rowth)), oder täuscht mich das?

Q(aulity) auch, sonst würden die Kunden nicht kaufen, oder täuscht das?

Gut, der Wert ist (immer noch) sehr klein bei MK ca. EUR19 und Sales 2016 ca. EUR11m. Können viele Grosse gar nicht kaufen.

Ich finde die Produkt- und VK-Regionen-Diversifikation eigentlich ziemlich gut.

Man muss eben den Operating cash outflow 23% of revenue in 2016 (reduced from 60% in 2015) beobachten.

Man kommt seit IPO 2012 von EUR8.X auf nun 0.8X. Das soll aber nicht mein Problem sein.

=> ich stell hier mal ne kleine Sommerflauten-Position ins Bid (in Paris; hab noch eine von 2016-08, die nun mal billiger werden soll).

Since the World Health Organization declared the 2019-nCoV outbreak a global emergency on the 30 January 2020, the Company has seen strong demand for its nCoV test, which was launched on 31 January 2020. To date, Primerdesign has received orders for 33,000 tests and requests for quotations for another 32,000 tests from over 30 countries, with a high conversion rate from quotations to orders. The Directors believe the Company is well placed to support the growing global demand for nCoV testing.

The Company is also pleased to announce it is planning to launch a CE-Mark approved nCoV test in the week commencing 17 February. This approval will mean the nCoV test can be used for clinical diagnostic testing, as well as expanding its use within laboratories. The Directors believe that Primerdesign will be one of the first companies to market its test with CE-Mark approval.

In addition, the Company has applied to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Approval (EUA) of its nCoV test. EUA approval would allow laboratories in the US to use the nCoV test for clinical diagnosis on a temporary basis. The Company is working with the FDA in order to demonstrate the consistency and performance of the Primerdesign test for emergency use.

The Company is also in discussions with various NHS hospitals and Public Health England regarding the nCoV test and it has already sold a limited number of tests to certain hospitals for their validation purposes.

As previously announced, the Primerdesign nCoV test is designedto detect only the 2019 strain of the virus, which the Directors believe differentiates it from a number of current tests which are less specific and could, therefore, react to other related viruses, potentially giving rise to a false diagnosis. The Primerdesign test can generate a result in less than two hours meaning that all samples can be screened quickly, which could help stop the unnecessary spread of this virus. Das ist Pech, ich denke, die gehen wieder hoch, denn die Virentests waren bisher knapp und werden jedoch weiterhin weltweit dringend benötigt. Für Mitte April wird erst einmal der Höhepunkt erwartet.
Die Fiebermessung ist zu ungenau und hat Infizierte nicht erkannt.
Ich bleibe optimistisch, ging ja auch viel zu schnell hoch. Gesunde Korrektur.

mittlerweile besteht doch eine gute Kursstabilisierung:




--> da ich keine konkrete Vorstellung habe, was die Aktie fundamental wert sein könnte, nehme ich einfach mal ein KUV von ~1 für 2020e an

=> dann müsste man nur noch versuchen herauszufinden, was in 2020e umgesetzt werden könnte

--> mit so einem niedrigen Multiple sollte auch abgegolten sein, daß Novacyt nur ein Hersteller von Testprodukten ist, so wie es oben angesprochen wurde

Biotech group Novacyt announces deals for coronavirus test product

Biotechnology company Novacyt on Friday announced deals for its "Primerdesign" product which is aimed at testing for the coronavirus currently afflicting China and other parts of the world.

Novacyt said it had signed its first major distribution agreement for the COVID-19 coronavirus test with a global life sciences company to supply the test to two Asian territories outside mainland China, sending its shares to record highs.

It added that initial sales from this, which are subject to local emergency use approval, were anticipated to total £2.1 million in the first six months of the agreement.

Novacyt also announced a manufacturing deal with an unnamed U.S. healthcare company.

"The two contracts announced today reinforce how quickly the response to this virus is developing and shows our commitment to support these efforts anywhere in the world," Novacyt CEO Graham Mullis said.


Novacyt's progress in its coronavirus test product has lifted the company's shares - which are quoted on both the Paris and London markets - to record highs.

The stock was up by around 20% in early trade in Paris, and the company's stock price has surged more than 800% on the Paris market since the start of 2020.

Most of the testing on the coronavirus is being done by public health laboratories, but many companies around the world - such as Novacyt and others - are working on tests.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, GenScript Biotech Corp and Co-Diagnostics Inc have developed tests and are taking steps to get them validated for clinical use.

Roche is also distributing coronavirus tests developed by Tib Molbiol of Berlin for research use on some of its instruments while developing a test of its own. Abbott Laboratories is also working on a test.
