Die Aktie hält ich aber ganz gut im Bereich 1,20-1,40 $. Wenn das joint venture mit milestone payments Mitte des Jahres abgeschlossen wird, dürfte die erste Kohle reinkommen.

The actual grant of the patent is contingent upon payment of the issuance fee which has since been paid by Lightbridge. The patent is expected to be issued in the coming weeks.

Agreement for U.S. Joint Venture for Advanced Nuclear Fuel

RESTON, Va., Sept. 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lightbridge Corporation (LTBR) and AREVA NP in North America (AREVA Inc.), signed a binding Heads of Terms Agreement for a joint venture (JV) that summarizes all material terms and conditions to develop, manufacture and commercialize Lightbridge’s advanced metallic fuel technology. Lightbridge is a U.S. nuclear fuel development company and AREVA NP is a leader in servicing and fueling today’s reactor fleet and advancing the future of nuclear energy.
Lightbridge’s proprietary technology is designed to significantly improve economics, efficiency and safety of existing and new nuclear power plants. The parties agreed that the cash and non-cash contributions to the JV will be balanced and that the JV will be owned on a 50-50 basis. The result will be equal economics for the respective JV owners.
The JV will be the exclusive vehicle through which Lightbridge and AREVA NP will research, develop, demonstrate, fabricate, license, market and sell nuclear fuel assemblies that utilize Lightbridge’s proprietary metallic fuel designs and other advanced nuclear fuel intellectual property contributed by both Lightbridge and AREVA NP.
The JV’s activities will encompass the following types of commercial light water and research reactors:
Pressurized water reactors (excluding VVER reactor types, a specific type of pressurized water reactor)
Boiling water reactors
Light water-cooled small- and medium-sized reactors
Research reactors
As a next step, the parties expect to finalize a definitive JV Operating Agreement based on the Heads of Terms Agreement in the fourth quarter of 2017 and to launch the JV in the first quarter of 2018. The parties expect to sign the agreements prior to or simultaneously with the final JV Operating Agreement.

A reason for the joint venture including pressurized water reactor, boiling water reactor, water cooled small modular reactor, and research reactor fuel is that Framatome manufactures and sells all of those types of fuel.
Now Lightbridge Fuel can also be used in other types of reactors outside our primary markets that are smaller markets. Das einzig positive ist, dass Lightbridge berechtigt ist, ihren Antrag für zukünftige vierteljährliche Einreichungen erneut einzureichen. Hoffentlich erhalten sie die Fördermittel nach der erneuten Beantragung, sobald sie den Vertrag mit einem großen Utilityunternehmen unterzeichnet haben, das LTBR-Metallstäbe verwenden wird.

On October 4, 2019, Lightbridge Corporation (the “Company”) announced that the Company’s Board of Directors has approved a one-for-twelve reverse stock split of the Company’s common stock. The Company expects its common stock to begin trading on a split-adjusted basis as of Monday, October 21, 2019. As a result of the reverse stock split, it is expected that the number of outstanding shares of common stock will be reduced from 38,992,237 shares to 3,249,353 shares. Following the reverse stock split, the CUSIP for the Company’s common stock will be 53224K 302. No fractional shares will be issued in connection with the reverse share split. Each stockholder that would otherwise be entitled to receive a fractional share will instead be entitled to receive, in lieu of such fractional share, one whole share of common stock. It is expected that the reverse stock split will bring the Company in compliance with Nasdaq continued listing requirements.
