Appia Rare Earths and Uranium Corp. to Present at the Annual 2022 RIEA Conference in Frankfurt, Germany
Interim President & CEO Tom Drivas to present at the 2022 REIA Annual Conference - Rare Earths for a Sustainable World on Oct 5th and 6th.

Rare Earths are critical materials for vehicle electrification and wind turbines. Electric vehicles will only unleash their full environmental benefit when the electricity mix evolves towards a higher renewables content. For that, wind-power turbines also rely on rare earths’ magnets for highest efficiency and low-maintenance cost.

Despite their unmatched technological benefits, rare earths are considered scarce, their extraction is expensive, prone to price volatility and their supply chain concentrated in a single country. However, these perceptions do not entirely correspond to how the rare earths industry has evolved since the very mediatic “Rare Earths Crisis” of 2010.

This ‘Rare Earths for a sustainable world’ conference will bring together key decision makers in the technologies of vehicle electrification and wind energy, rare earths producers, magnet makers and more to review the current supply situation and identify improvements to better satisfy the requirements of the industrial downstream customers for a better technology adoption.

Geophysical Survey At Appia’s Athabasca Basin Uranium Property Outlines EM Lineaments Exceeding 10 km In Strike Length
TORONTO, ONTARIO, September 19, 2022 - Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp. (the “Company” or “Appia”) (CSE:API, OTCQX:APAAF, Germany: “A0I.F”, “A0I.MU”, “A0I.BE”) is pleased to announce that the Company has completed (and submitted for assessment purposes) a helicopter-borne gamma-ray spectrometry and VTEM geophysical survey on the 100%-owned Loranger uranium property, eastern Athabasca Basin area, northern Saskatchewan.

      Highlights (from 2022 assessment report):

The survey extended and discovered some new electromagnetic (EM) conductors, and provided additional structural geophysical characteristics of these conductors.
EM lineaments exceeding 10 km in contiguous strike length are identified.
EM conductors are offset by younger features.
The property will be drill ready once targets are confirmed and permits are submitted/accepted.

Tom Drivas, CEO of Appia said “Building on our previous geophysical, prospecting, and drilling experience from 2016 to 2019 at Loranger, Appia has completed all of its geophysical surveys for drillhole targeting. We are now working on complete data integration and 3D model results to verify the numerous identified high-priority targets, so to plan the next phase of drilling. Then once permits to drill are submitted and accepted, the property will be at a drill-ready stage.
