habe mal angefangen, eine peer group zu CHKP zu suchen:

Seit 13,75 Euro dabei, scheiß Aktie.

Schau dir mal NCC- und SOPHOS-GROUP an. Die performen WESENTLICH besser.
Fireeye kam als IPO glaube ich zu 20 USD und der freefloat ist sehr gering, scheinen
viele instis drin zu sein. der kurs geht jedenfalls alles andere als durch die decke.
im aktuellen umfeld sollte der längt die 30 usd hinter sich gelassen haben, aber
es passiert einfach nix.

mich interessiert die kurzfristige Performance

einer Aktie eher wenig, vielmehr die des Unternehmens;

und da sehe ich nach sehr kurzem Drüberschauen noch nicht so eine riesige Differenz und bei NCC bin ich sogar skeptisch.

Sei es wie es sei, habe heute erst angefangen, den Bereich zu beackern und mein Horizont bemißt sich in Jahren oder Jahrzehnten ...

Diese Aktie ist wirklich ein Unikat. Die Peer-Group kennt seit Monaten kein Halten und hier fallen die Kurse in sich zusammen. Überall hört man, dass Firmen (viel) Geld in die Hand nehmen um sich gegen Cyberattacken zu schützen. Kaufen die alle bei Sophos oder anderen und nix bei Fireeye?

Ich verstehe es nicht.

Ich denke, aus charttechnischer Sicht könnte bei FireEye ab heute mächtig was gehen. Charttechnisch is erst mal Luft bis 20.

Danach sehen wir weiter.

FireEye Burns Brighter as Iran Crisis Fuels Cybersecurity Fears
Rising tensions with Iran have 'put the spotlight on cybersecurity,' and could lead to a big jump in business for cybersecurity firms like FireEye, according to a SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst.

Investor interest in FireEye (FEYE) - Get Report heated up Tuesday after an industry analyst upgraded his rating on the cybersecurity company, citing increased demand for its services amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran.

FireEye's stock price jumped 4.11% to $18.31 a share after a SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst boosted his rating on the stock to buy from hold.

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey's Joel Fishbein also hiked his price target on FireEye to $22 a share, up from $15 previously, Bloomberg reported, noting the average price target for the stock firm among analysts is $23 a share.

Rising tensions in Iran and Iraq "have put the spotlight on cybersecurity, and we believe it will lead to increased government and private-sector spending," Fishbein wrote.

Increased operating performance and the potential for a sale of the cybersecurity company are other factors that could help boost FireEye's stock price, the SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst noted.

FireEye is not alone in attracting a surge in investor interest, with shares of other cybersecurity firms like CrowdStrike (CRWD) - Get Report on the rise in the wake of last-week's U.S. drone strike that killed a top Iranian general.

FEYE, +3.24% shot up 3.1% toward an 11-month high in premarket trading Tuesday, after SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst Joel Fishbein turned bullish on the cybersecurity company, citing potential benefits of increasing U.S.-Middle East tensions and the potential sale of the company. Fishbein raised his rating to buy from hold and boosted his stock price target by 47%, to $22 from $15. "In light of recent events in Iran and Iraq, government and private sector spending on cybersecurity is likely to grow in both fiscal 2020 and 2021," Fishbein wrote in a note to clients. And after a media report that FireEye had hired an investment bank to potentially sell the company, and in light of the current merger and acquisition environment in the security space, "we view the potential for FireEye to be acquired as a potential call option." The stock, which has rallied 6.4% over the past three sessions, has hiked up 26.9% over the past three months through Monday, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.28% has gained 10.5%.
