Das hatten Santhera aktionäre vor ein paar jahren auch nicht und es gibt noch etliche andere beispiele z.b. HGSI ,ACAD und JAZZ um nur ein paar zu nennen wer zum richtigen Zeitpunkt investiert hat konnte richtig absahnen . Was vorher mit TNXP war interessiert mich nicht ich sehe das die Aktie unter Cash notiert und ein attraktives Produkt in Phase 3 hat das genügt mir um zu investieren alles andere spielt für mich keine Rolle .

Solche extreme low floater wie TNXP sind leicht manipulier besonders wenn das volumen niedrig ist wie heute da kann es leicht in die eine oder andere richtung gehen . Fakt aber ist das die Aktie immer noch unter Cash notiert und ein attraktives Produkt in fortgeschgrittene Phase 3 Studie besitzt und deshalb ist da sehr sehr viel luft nach oben und sehr gering nach unten .

Ne TNXP gefällt mir wesentlich besser hier kaufen Insider und Instutionelle zu während sie bei VICL verkaufen außerdem ist ihr lead drug schonmal gescheitert einzig gute hier ist der partner Astellas aber das wars auch schon .Trotzdem könnte man vielleicht ein paar zum zocken kaufen in der hoffnung das kurz vor den Daten nochmal gepusht wird .

Wer hier investiert ist sollte bitte seine Aktien zu einem höheren kurs z.b. $10 unter GTC zum verkauf reinstellen .Der grund dafür ist das es angeblich so hilft seine Aktien vor shorts zu schützen aber noch wichtiger ist das die Aktien am Markt nicht verfügbar sein sollen was natürlich für noch größere Kurssprünge sorgen könnte besonders bei solchen low floater wie TNXP .Ich hab oft gesagt das ich wirklich nicht weiß ob das funktioniert es wird mir nur so erzählt aber solange es nichts kostet kann man das doch ruhig machen . Nein Partner gibts noch nicht sonst vermutlich wird es den kurz vor oder eher nach den P3 Daten geben. Mögliche Umsatzzahlen werden zwischen $500 und $650 Millionen beziffert das ist was die Analysten sagen selbst wenn es nur die hälfte davon wird wäre die Aktie um einvielfaches mehr wert .

Ja - mit 4,99 USD hauchdünn die 5 USD Marke verpasst...

Vielleicht ist das nur eine normale Korrektur.
Immerhin ist der Titel vom Intraday Tief 2,85 USD am 15.8. bis zum erwähnten Intraday Hoch am 6.10 um über 70% gestiegen.
Eine gesunde Korrektur korrigiert die Hälfte, das wäre etwa 3,92 USD.
Ein leichtes Überschießen sollte nicht beunruhigen.

vielleicht noch zu erwähnen, die letzte studie von tonmya (phase 2) war placebokontrolliert und erfolgreich, auch wenn der p-wert bisschen knapp ausgefallen war (p=0.031), darum wurde die teilnehmergruppe für die phase 3 nochmals ein bisschen eingeschränkt, in der phase 2 studie hatte diese subgruppe einen p-wert von <0.01 bei woche 12 (kann man alles in der präsentation ab seite 27 nachschauen, verlinkt im ersten beitrag des threads)

Tonix Pharmaceuticals Receives IND Clearance by U.S. FDA for TNX-102 SL in Agitation in Alzheimer's Disease

Agitation in Alzheimer's Disease, a Potential New Indication for TNX-102 SL, currently in Phase 3 Development as a Treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. TNXP, -2.50% (Tonix), announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared its Investigational New Drug (IND) application to support the initiation of a Phase 2, potential pivotal efficacy study of TNX-102 SL* 5.6 mg in patients with agitation in Alzheimer's disease. TNX-102 SL, or Tonmya [(R)#] is a FDA-designated Breakthrough Therapy in Phase 3 development for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

"This potential new indication for TNX-102 SL expands our clinical development pipeline, leveraging our understanding of the TNX-102 SL mechanism of action on sleep quality and our understanding of its potential clinical benefit in patients with agitation in Alzheimer's disease," commented Seth Lederman, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer. "The investigation of TNX-102 SL for agitation in Alzheimer's disease may bring a new treatment targeting sleep disturbances in patients experiencing this condition. About Agitation in Alzheimer's Disease

Agitation in Alzheimer's disease, which includes emotional lability, restlessness, irritability, and aggression, is one of the most distressing and debilitating of the behavioral complications of Alzheimer's disease. Agitation in Alzheimer's disease has significant negative consequences for patients as well as their caregivers and is one of the most common reasons for patients having to transition to nursing homes and other long-term care settings. Agitation is likely to affect more than half of the 5.3 million Americans who currently suffer from Alzheimer's disease, and this number is expected to nearly triple by 2050. The presence of agitation nearly doubles the cost of caring for patients with Alzheimer's disease, and agitation is estimated to account for more than 12 percent of the $256 billion in healthcare and societal costs associated with Alzheimer's disease for the year 2017 in the United States. Currently, there is no FDA approved treatment for behavioral symptoms in Alzheimer's disease such as agitation and aggression. Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. TNXP, -1.00% (Tonix), today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Fast Track designation to its investigational new drug, TNX-102 SL, for the treatment of agitation in Alzheimer's disease. The same drug, TNX-102 SL, or Tonmya(R)*, for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), has previously been designated as a Breakthrough Therapy by the FDA. It is currently in a Phase 3 study for military-related PTSD, with an interim analysis expected in the third quarter of 2018.

Fast track is a process designed to facilitate the development and expedite the review of drugs to treat serious conditions and fill an unmet medical need. The benefits of a Fast Track designation include rolling submission of portions of the New Drug Application (NDA) for the drug candidate and eligibility for priority review of the NDA. Additionally, more frequent meetings and written communication with the FDA regarding the development plan and trial design for the drug candidate are encouraged throughout the entire drug development and review process, with the goal of having earlier drug approval and access for patients.

"Fast Track designation reflects the recognition by the FDA that TNX-102 SL has the potential to address a large unmet medical need for a serious condition," said Seth Lederman, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Tonix. "Currently, there are no FDA-approved treatments for agitation in Alzheimer's disease, despite a high disease burden and a need for an effective therapy. We are eager to work closely with the FDA to advance the development TNX-102 SL for the treatment of agitation in Alzheimer's disease."

Tonix received clearance of the Investigational New Drug Application, or IND, from the FDA for TNX-102 SL 5.6 mg in April of this year which supports the initiation of a Phase 2, potential pivotal efficacy study of TNX-102 SL in patients with agitation in Alzheimer's disease. In addition to evaluating the safety and efficacy of TNX-102 SL after 8 weeks of bedtime treatment, the Phase 2 study will analyze genomic DNA to identify biomarkers that may be associated with treatment response.

* Tonmya has been conditionally accepted by the FDA as the proposed trade name for TNX-102 SL (cyclobenzaprine HCl sublingual tablets) for PTSD. TNX-102 SL is an investigational new drug and has not been approved for any indication.

Tonix exhumes positive take on data from phase 3 flop

Tonix Pharmaceuticals has dug into the data from its failed phase 3 post-traumatic stress disorder trial and emerged with a positive spin on the flop. The biotech hit upon the upbeat interpretation by separating out the results from patients who suffered the trauma at the root of their PTSD within the past nine years.

In this subgroup, Tonix’s sublingual formulation of cyclobenzaprine, TNX-102 SL, bested placebo on a scale of PTSD, but only just. The subgroup analysis had a p value of 0.039. TNX-102 SL performed no better than placebo in patients whose trauma occurred more than nine years ago. An analysis of an earlier phase 2 found no divergence between the performance of the two groups in that trial.

The subgroup analysis led Tonix to conclude TNX-102 SL has a future in some patients, although it is yet to provide much evidence to explain why efficacy would decline or why nine years would be a tipping point.

Shares of Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp (Nasdaq:TNXP) jumped Friday in the wake of the clinical-stage biopharma company winning a new European patent that protects the use of its drug candidate TNX-601 for treating neurocognitive dysfunction linked to corticosteroid treatment.

The patent, which protects this new oral formulation of the antidepressant tianeptine, is set to last until April 2029.


“The grant of this European method of use patent is another step in expanding the patent portfolio for TNX-601,” said Dr. Seth Lederman, CEO of Tonix. “Tianeptine oxalate, or TNX-601, is an important product in our pipeline and is being developed not only for steroid-induced neurocognitive impairment, but also as a daytime treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.”

Pleased by the news, investors sent Tonix shares up 36.5% to $2.92 in midday trade Friday.

TNX-601, or tianeptine oxalate and other salts, is still in the preclinical stage of development.

The side effects from corticosteroid use, which TNX-601 aims to address, include impaired ability to concentrate, unclear thinking, sedation and mental fatigue.

New York-based Tonix’s new salt and polymorph of tianeptine may provide improved stability and consistency compared to standard forms of tianeptine.

At the moment, there is no tianeptine-containing product approved in the US, though tianeptine sodium has been available in Europe, Asia and Latin America for the treatment of depression since 1987.

Tonix focuses on discovering and developing pharmaceutical products to treat neuropsychiatric conditions and biological products to improve biodefense. Its lead program is for Tonyma, which is in Phase 3 trials as a treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. It’s also developing TNX-102 SL, the same drug product as Tonmya as a treatment for agitation in Alzheimer’s disease as well as TNX-801, a potential smallpox-preventing vaccine.
