Der Aktienkurs von Piedmont Lithium ist um 36 % auf 28 Cent gestiegen.

Die Anleger haben heute darum gekämpft, die Aktien dieses ASX-Lithiumbergbauunternehmens zu ergattern, nachdem es eine Bergbaugenehmigung für das Carolina-Lithiumprojekt in den Vereinigten Staaten erhalten hatte.

PIEDMONT LITHIUM SELLS SAYONA MINING SHARES

February 21, 2024

The Company has agreed to sell 1,152.2 million shares of Sayona for A$0.052 Australian Dollars (“A$”) per share through a secondary block sale via Canaccord Genuity. The sale price represents a premium to the 20-day volume weighted average price and will result in gross proceeds of approximately A$59.9 million, or US$39.4 million for Piedmont. Following the transaction and some smaller recent public market share sales, Piedmont will no longer hold any shares of Sayona. The sale of these shares has no impact on Piedmont’s joint venture or offtake position with Sayona Quebec.

The decision to divest the Sayona shares aligns with Piedmont's commitment to maintaining a prudent balance sheet while simultaneously minimizing dilution of Piedmont’s shareholders. This action, in addition to the cost-saving initiatives outlined in Piedmont’s recent corporate update, strategically positions Piedmont for the long term.

“This transaction underscores our commitment to delivering long-term value for Piedmont shareholders," said Keith Phillips, President and CEO of Piedmont Lithium. “We acquired our initial Sayona shares as part of our strategic investment in the Sayona Quebec joint venture and will recognize a meaningful gain on the investment. Mal schauen, wie die Q4-Zahlen werden, bei ihrer Beteiligung Sayona Quebec geht es jedenfalls ans Eingemachte:
Zusätzlich zu den Veränderungen in der Geschäftsleitung hat Sayona weitere 14 Mitarbeiter in seinem Betrieb in Quebec entlassen.

wie gesagt (siehe vorherigen Link), die Angaben sind falsch. Bei so wichtigen Parametern empfiehlt es sich immer, Originalquellen heran zu ziehen, da man nie weiß, wie gut Datenbanken von Drittanbietern (hier: WO) gepflegt werden

Alle sitzen im selben Lithium-Preis-Strudel.
Solange dieser anhält wird es schwer. 50% Marge sind es noch, können auch noch weiter schrumpfen, bis es wieder aufwärts geht.
Das Potential ist natürlich enorm, Cash ist auch vorhanden. Hätten sie doch nur 6-12 Monate früher produziert,was hätten die sich die Taschen voll gemacht...
Jetzt müssen wir abwarten oder aussitzen.

Investment Case wird noch mehr stupid, wenn man bedenkt das Piedmont 95m$ auf der Hand hat und ca.88m$ investiert in Atlanta und Sayoma sind.

Das Unternehmen plant nächstes Jahr 113t of material zu verkaufen bei einem preis von 1600$(was als gering gesehen wird) = 180m$ und 50% margin sind es knapp 90m$ was knapp dem MK des Unternehmens entspricht.

Vergleich

Ich habe auf das falsche Pferd gesetzt oder ich übersehe etwas.

Ich bin seit Jahren ein Goldinvestor und mit Ausnahme 2020/21 war das alles ein Trauerspiel! Das Potenzial für Unternehmen in der Branche wie Osino, Troilus, Nighthawk oder Cartier sind enorm aber das was hier abgeht ist absolut irre und eine ganz andere Liga gefüllt!

Nur als Vergleich - Unternehmen wie K92 oder Calibre haben einen ähnlichen net income jedoch einen höheren Revenue. Der Goldpreis ist aber 2% von seinem ATH weg und hier ist der Spodument Preis laut den Zahlen im Keller. Jedoch die Bewertung der MK von den 3 Unternehmen ist meilenweit von einander entfernt. Hier sind wir bei einer MK von 100M während K92 mit 800m und Calibre mit 500m USD bewertet sind.

Kann einer erläutern, warum das Unternehmens MK = deren Umsatz ist mit dem Potenzial dass Piedmount hat?
