Lithium Power International ("LPI") own 51% of the JV company Minera Salar Blanco ("MSB") which owns the Maricunga Lithium Project at the Maricunga Salar in Chile.

LPI also has 100% owned lithium assets (400km2 of tenements) near the Greenbushes mine in Western Australia (LPI’s tenements include the Balingup project, extending north and west of the Talison mine, and the Brockman Highway project, which is south of the mine and divided by the Brockman Highway).

The Maricunga Lithium Project has a M&I Resource of 1.905 million tonnes of LCE for the Stage One (Old Code) mining properties, at an average grade of 953 mg/L lithium, which is exceptionally high grade. In fact, Maricunga has the second highest lithium grades globally, second to only the Atacama Salar operated by Albemarle and SQM (SQM). The Resource is only from surface to 200m depth, hence significant exploration upside. There were some issues with their past tenements so the resource was recently redone as a result.

Minera Salar Blanco has obtained the required environmental permits for the Maricunga Lithium Project. An updated DFS is in progress. Mitsui recently signed a strategic alliance with MSB which is a positive. According to the non-binding MOU, MSB and Mitsui intend to set up an alliance that includes potential offtake (15,000tpa) and funding rights for the first stage of the Maricunga Lithium Project.

LPI trades on a market cap of A$173m. Great assets, low market cap, but some higher risk in Chile. Australian lithium assets a forgotten bonus. Good spec buy.

A gentle reminder that LPI's Maricunga Lithium Project
- has the second highest grade lithium brine in the world at 1167mg/l li
- has current resource of about 2.9MT LCE (old + new code). With high potential to reach 4.1-5MT LCE
- has all the mining permits and approvals ready to start construction, mining and export of li
- has secured all the necessary infrastructure, water, electricity
- has MOU of 15ktpa offtake and stage 1 financing with Mitsui
- 2019 DFS NPV of US$1.303b
- Lowest quartile on cost curve at US$3700/t. Current china spot price is somewhere around US$30,000/t. The amount that LPI is going to earn on their Maricunga project is jaw-dropping.
- Carbon neutral producer. Deloitte as ESG adviser
- Company looking at at least 30ktpa of lithium carbonate for stage 1 + 2. The NPV will be enormous

Timeline
- Dec 2021 - DFS update + battery grade
- Dec 2021 - Greenbushes drilling start
- Jan-Mar 2022 Binding offtake / financing with Mitsui

Others
- Concrete plan on JV with Codelco. No specific timeline on this as Codelco seems to be dragging their feet but may have announcement anytime.

This is a billion dollar company in the making yet under the radar. It won't take long before LPI starts to really fly beyond $1.

Immer dieses Hoffen und Bangen. Bei diesem Invest werde ich mich auch fortan weiterhin zwingen, gar nichts mehr zu tun. Es gibt zu viele, bei denen ich mir die Verläufe der letzten 3-5 Jahre angeschaut habe und bedauert habe. Also cool bleiben, irgendwann, und die Zeit rennt ohnehin, ist auch schon 2025, und dann sieht es hier vielleicht auch so aus wie bei Standard, Rock, Vulkan etc.

Hier findet sich eigentlich alles zur Reinheit und zur CO2-Neutralität.
Ich kann in dem Maricunga-Projekt eigentlich kein Haar in der Suppe finden.

Außer einer Reihe von überbezahlten Bonzen, die sich zu lange die Eier auf Kosten der Aktionäre schaukeln.

Richtig ! Bei AGY oder AVZ hätte diese Randnotiz einen Kaufrausch ausgelöst. Aber unser LPI Management ist da sehr unbeweglich.....
