      Also der ganz normale big data Irrsinn - Daten gegen etwas, was den eigenen Belohnungsinstinkt anspricht.

      Für was die coins dann eingesetzt werden können, ist mir noch nicht ganz klar.

      Henri Holm and Allen Ezer have discovered the secret of turning sports fans' trash talk into meta data gold.

      And that's positioned their FanDom Sports Media Corp. (CSE: FDM) (OTC: FDMSF) at the forefront of monetizing the final frontier of the multibillion-dollar sports industry business — the fans' passion for the game.
      "It's about tapping into the passion," says Holm, CEO & President. "It's finding those like-minded sports fans who are passionate at that exact moment in the stadium or wherever they're taking in the action, though when the clock runs out the game is just beginning."

      Holm, Ezer and the FanDom team have just launched the FanDom Sports App, enabling fans to interact, debate and argue on selected sports trending issues in a structured way, as well as test their knowledge of sports topics and get rewarded for their participation.       Content is generated by users making their case for their one side of an argument, commenting on the conversation and giving thumbs up or down. Users might start with a small group of friends (or "a crew") but can swiftly expand their circle to engage other fans. Enabling them to engage in a battle of quips with real people in real time gives the app an edge, says Holm.

      "It's competitive — it's not solitaire against the machine, it's not computer chess. It's a real event, actual things taking place by other human beings, not bots, not algorithms or anything else," he says.
      "We are raw, authentic and fresh every time you open up the app."
      That rawness is what convinced TSN's James Duthie to feature the app on his Rubber Boots podcast, which follows trending sports stories and topics. Ezer says as a primary sponsor, Fandom Sports is in select company, which includes big brand sponsors who also tie into their key demographics and business model.

      "It was kind of flattering because Duthie said 'I would love to have you guys on board because you guys are into that raw, authentic fresh feel,'" says Ezer. "Meanwhile they're turning other sponsors away who don’t quite fit their demographic."
      The Rubber Boots podcast hits the demographic that Fandom Sports is aiming for. Duthie sets up the argument for the FanFight and encourages listeners to download the app. Prizes and other offers help to sweeten the pot. So far, the partnership between podcast and sports app is producing results.

      "What we're seeing is all of his #Rubber Boots FanFights are bringing massive reaction, increased voting, and compounded downloads within hours of each episode," says Ezer. "It's working — we're getting traction and we haven't even really pushed yet."

      FanDom Sports also has a partnership with Dash Radio and have launched a bi-weekly, hour-long FanDom Sports talk show hosted by radio and voiceover personality Rich Rubin. The show features sports fans, celebrity and athlete guests in a no-holds-barred environment where callers join in the arguments.       Alright so I'm going to try to clear the air with everything we know so far and add to the holes in the story. People were very underwhelmed by the launch and I think you all need to know what was launched and why.

      A lot of people seemed to be upset at what was launched earlier this week but I don't think most people have called management to fully understand what is going on at this point. What we beta tested and what was launched was the front end aka the shell of the app. The app at its core will look like this and work like this with minor tweeking of course to its front end (AKA the branding and layout you can see) . As of right now the back end (the programs doing the actual work in the back) is still based off of blair's old crudey app that we all agreed was a POShyte. So what we beta tested and right now is the shell of the app. the beta testing was used to work out bugs, to see what we liked, to gather data ( see where our eyes flow to first, what controls are pressed most often, etc.) so thats been pushed out, again just the shell.

      The back end right now is being worked on by IBM and HHS. IBM was totally stoked to choose Fandom to help work with Henri and our development team to work on our back end. Up to now they have been working with alot of companies with crypto currencies. This is something new for them to be implementing their technology into a game style app with a virtual currency. So at the moment HHS IBM and our developers are working diligently on our back end to get everything on block chain and working perfectly. Have you noticed our wins loss and ties on our current back end doesnt work properly? or that getting rewarded for coins doesnt work right? thats the back end. You will be rewarded coins for participation in discussion, voting on fights and getting it right, fighting, and usage of the app. The algorithms for this is what they are working on at the moment. They are complicated. especially the reward system for participation in discussion. I won't get into too much detail about this but lets just say it wants to reward people custom tailored to the way they post and with machine learning figure your posting style. All of this information and analytics will be stored in your player card. You know your little profile right now that shows you your trophies, and wins/ losses and your profile pic? that will be the most important piece of information for each person and will also be put on to blockchain. That info (your likes, your sports, what your into sportswise etc) is what they will pitch to companies and sponsors and leagues.

      The back end is the most important piece of the fdm puzzle. WIthout the backend this app is useless. It will be the brain and the heart of the app. think of it as the foundation. Once that is implemented all the cool bells and whistles that turned us on will follow. The four things I know for sure that will roll out after the back end is complete will be 1) Microbetting 2) Gamification 3) Trivia (like HQ style) 4) betting. These will not be rolled out though until the app economy is rolled out on block chain. Coins will be a scarce commodity.

      now you guys keep on mentioning using coins to purchase swag but that will be the least of it. The algorithms like i mentioned earlier will be able to tell what sports you enjoy the most and create a profile for you. Now imagine you are a UFC fan and this weekend there is a payperview. A pop up might come up on the app and ask you if you want to spend 150 coins and get the payperview for free or for 50% off. A pop up might come up after you voted on a fight and ask you if you want to purchase tickets for tonights game using coins, or purchase a new iphone X with a contract with T-Mobile with this amount of coins.       thats it im done my long winded post for you guys. I'm just going to say we are right now sitting at day 1. Management owns more hares than we can ever afford. They are confident as hell, So am I. These levels are a gift. I am loading up at these prices and secretly want to it to stay at this level so i can load up more once a few of my other stocks hit and i can free up some capital. The ball just started moving a little. We are nowhere being close to complete nor will the app ever be complete. Next order of business is to get that back end done, and take down the iOS version and get that back up to par with android. All this information is stuff i pieced together by calling management and talking to them, Pitching ideas and having long conversations. I suggest if you are serious about your money and the company, that you do the same.

      Es gab vor einigen Wochen einen tweet von Henri Holm diesbezüglich, dass man bei der Entwicklung der app Gas geben wolle, wobei ein nicht naeher genanntes event erwähnt wurde, zu dem die app funktionabel sein sollte.

      Ich dachte seinerzeit an die Fußball WM früh im Sommer. Das hätte mir die Eile des alpha- und beta-testing erklärt.

      I spoke with Allen over the weekend – a lot of things coming down the pipe including presence and promotion wih the upcoming fifa world cup starting in 11 days – apparently some major media outlets are getting involved with Fandom - I was told that things are way ahead of schedule – there has been no formal announcement but it looks like the entire app package – V2 and so on will all be complete early – sometime in August so everything is go for the NFL season – he couldn’t say but there is a reason why everything has to be finalized for the upcoming season – have to read between the lines but things are looking really good here and seems that bystanders are waiting for the final product – Good days ahead – GL ALL

      So gesehen wird einem gerade nur der unverschaemte spread vor Augen geführt, den die deutschen Makler setzen.
      Z.B. Stuttgart gerade bid7,1 cent, ask 9,0 cent - einer der Gründe, warum ich in Kanada handele ...

      Ich finde die App recht gut. Scheinbar fehlen zwar noch einige Funktionen aber das Grundgerüst funktioniert schon.
      Hoffentlich schaffen sie es schnellstmöglich mit Updates den Funktionsumfang zu erweitern und auch andere Sportarten wie Fußball in Deutschland wären wichtig.

Henri Holm selbst hat doch fast das ganze pp bezahlt, dafür hat er vorher auch extra Aktien verkauft. Die ganze pp war doch scheinbar nur fürs Management gedacht. Aber komisch warum sie jetzt unbedingt die paar tausend Dollar brauchen. Vllt. wissen sie, dass bald gute News kommen und brauchen nur noch diese Menge an Geld um die App komplett fertigzustellen.

      Scheinbar besteht ja schon Kontakt zu einem bekannten Eishockeyteam, wenn ich das richtig in Erinnerung habe. Sowas könnte die App schlagartig voran bringen.

      Ich denke dieses Jahr wird noch einiges passieren.

      Der monatliche Fortschrittsbericht hat ein paar gute News vorweg genommen.
      Privatplatzierung ist oversubscribed, was irgendwie keine Überraschung ist, weil es ja nur ein sehr kleiner Betrag war.

      Die Partnerschaft mit einem NHL Team scheint jetzt eine Tatsache zu sein und MMA wird auch eine größere Rolle in der App spielen. (vermutlich durch eine Partnerschaft mit One Championship, wurde bei stockhouse schon früher mal spekuliert)

      Ich hoffe sie bekommen es hin und in ein paar Jahren hat die App einige Millionen User. Sollte nicht unmöglich sein, wenn man sich auf USA, Deutschland und China fokussiert.

      Nochmal zu der potentiellen Kooperation mit One Championship. Wenn da wirklich was dran ist wäre das wirklich super für Fandom Sports. Das sind Millionen Fans aus dem Bereich MMA und Esports aus Asien die wir dadurch bekommen könnten.

      Woher kommt dieses Gerücht? Henri Holm soll ja gute Kontakte nach Asien haben. FDM hat im Progress Bericht für Juli gesagt, dass MMA einen wichtigen Aspekt in der App einnehmen wird. Außerdem liked Holm bei LinkedIn oft Nachrichten von One Championship und dessen CEO.

      Diese Partnerschaft würde einfach für beide perfekt passen. One Championship ist immer noch dabei international zu expandieren und mehr Zuschauer zu bekommen. Scheinbar schreibt die Firma seit Jahren rote Zahlen und sie wollen deshalb auch andere Möglichkeiten der Monetarisierung nutzen.

      Die Investoren die hinter One Championship stehen sind echte Schwergewichte mit Kapital in Milliardenhöhe. Wenn die denken, dass eine Kooperation mit FDM Potenzial hat, dann ist es nicht unmöglich, dass sie auch etwas Geld in die Hand nehmen und es in FDM investieren.

      Ich hoffe für uns alle, dass diese Kooperation zustande kommt.

      Generell denke ich, wenn FDM die App wirklich Global launcht und sinnvolle Partnerschaften bekommt, dann ist hier einiges möglich.

      Langsam nimmt die App Form an. Wenn alle Funktionen integriert sind und Partnerschaften starten, dann gehen die Userzahlen schnell nach oben.
      Die Bekanntheit von Fandom Sports wird steigen und das wird neue Partnerschaften bringen.

      Accumulated loss ist bei ca. 13 Millionen CAD, das ist schon mehr Wert als die gesamte Firma.

      Also selbst wenn die App keinen Erfolg hat können sie immer noch den Börsenmantel für mehr verkaufen. Verrückt solch eine Bewertung, wenn man bedenkt, dass der CEO Henri Holm gerade in Asien gute Kontakte hat, wegen seiner ehemaligen Arbeit für Nokia und Rovio Entertainment.

      Hier kann es bald schnell nach oben gehen. Wenn die Privatplatzierung durch ist und aus dem Letter of Intent eine echte Partnerschaft wird, dann geht's ab.

      Momentan ist die App down. Henri sagte mir diesbezüglich, dass die Blaze Integration jetzt stattfindet und die App das nächste Mal mit einem Partner gelauncht wird. Das hört sich doch optimistisch an.

      Tatsächlich die gleiche Story wie bei First Global Data. Da ging es ja mit Andre Itwaru auch um einen CEO mit jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung in der Branche, sein großes Netzwerk und ganz viele LOI...

Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President of a subsidiary of a Chinese conglomerate in New York from March 1996 to July 1997.
