enCore Energy Continues to Expand Uranium Production at the Alta Mesa Plant
DALLAS, Oct. 24, 2024 /CNW/ - enCore Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: EU) (TSXV: EU) (the "Company" or "enCore"), a uranium producer and America's Clean Energy Company™, today provided an update on the production ramp up at its South Texas Alta Mesa In-Situ Recovery ("ISR") Uranium Central Processing Plant ("Alta Mesa CPP") and Wellfield. The Company has achieved an important milestone in the expansion of production and is now nearing flow capacity at the first of Alta Mesa CPP's three ion exchange circuits ("IX circuits"). The three IX circuits can provide dissolved uranium in groundwater to the Alta Mesa CPP from multiple wellfields simultaneously.
Significant operational highlights include:
The three IX circuits each have 2,500 gallons per minute ("gpm") capacity. The first IX circuit was commissioned in June 2024, with the second IX circuit planned to commence operation in Q1/25 and the third IX circuit planned to be online by year end of 2025. Ion exchange is a filtration system which removes liquid uranium from groundwater before it is dried and processed into U3O8 ("yellowcake" or "uranium") at the CPP;
The Alta Mesa CPP's three IX circuits have a total flow rate of 7,500 gpm, equaling an annual recovery capacity of 1.5 million pounds of yellowcake when operating at full capacity;
Since the June 2024 start-up of the Alta Mesa CPP, enCore has expanded Wellfield 7 from 27 injection and 34 recovery wells to 46 injection and 52 recovery wells while bringing the flow rate up to 2,100 gpm. Wellfield 7 is projected to provide the initial feed to all three IX circuits;
The next ramp up currently underway, with an estimated completion date of November 2024, will further expand the number of injection and production wells at Wellfield 7 and is expected to increase flow rates to the capacity of the first IX circuit.

(NASDAQ: EU) (TSXV: EU) (the "Company" or "enCore"), a United States uranium producer, announced today on-going positive results from its Alta Mesa In-Situ Recovery Central Processing Plant ("CPP") and Wellfield drill program. Drilling, designed to expand the producing wellfield capacity, continues to significantly exceed the cutoff grade thickness requirements for In-Situ Recovery ("ISR") of uranium.
The Company also reports that production from its first wellfield continues to progress with increases to the number of Alta Mesa production and injection wells on schedule for 2024 and continuing into 2025.

Drilling results, to mid-September 2024, at Alta Mesa Wellfield 7 (also known as Production Area Authorization 7 or PAA-7), include intercepts with Grade Thickness ("GT") up to 3.615. Maximum total thickness encountered is 17.5 feet. The cutoff GT for ISR in South Texas is generally accepted to be 0.3 with GT being the relevant factor in determining reasonable prospects for economic extraction. GT is defined as grade multiplied by intercept thickness;
The Alta Mesa CPP is processing, on average, 1,700 gallons per minute of pregnant solution from initial patterns in Wellfield 7. Additional injection and production wells are currently being installed to increase the processing and production rate. The Alta Mesa CPP continues to dry, package and ship uranium yellowcake (U3O8);
Production from Alta Mesa Wellfield 7 is expected to increase as additional production patterns are completed and plumbed into the Alta Mesa CPP. Drilling and wellfield installation for the additional production patterns is well underway and will continue as the Alta Mesa CPP capacity is reached and maintained.

Das Projekt Dewey-Burdock hat von der U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) eine Ausgangsmateriallizenz sowie von der U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8, eine Ausnahmegenehmigung für den Grundwasserleiter und die Genehmigungen der Klassen III und V für die unterirdische Injektionskontrolle (UIC) der Klassen III und V erhalten. Gegen diese drei Bundesgenehmigungen konnte der Stamm der Oglala Sioux (OST) Berufung einlegen.
Das Unternehmen gab am 20. März 2023 bekannt, dass die NRC-Lizenz für Ausgangsmaterial endgültig sei, nachdem der OST beschlossen hatte, keine Berufung gegen die Entscheidungen des Berufungsgerichts des Bezirks D.C. beim Obersten Gerichtshof der USA einzulegen.
Am 3. September 2024 hat das Environmental Appeals Board (EAB) der EPA seine Entscheidung über die OST-Beschwerde in Bezug auf die Dewey-Burdock Class III und Class V UIC-Genehmigungen getroffen.
Die Entscheidung des EAB steht im Einklang mit der Entscheidung des D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, in der beide Berufungen ähnliche Fragen betrafen.

Insitu: dann schau Dir mal Denison an. Die haben gerade einen Narktführer von Insitu Technik gekauft. Zudem errichten sie gerade selbst eine der größten und günstigsten Insitu Minen der Welt.
