Umsatz wächst, Gewinn geht leicht zurück. Aber die Dividende wird erhöht:
The Board is recommending a 7.0% increase in the final dividend to 12.34p per share (2022: 11.53p per share), which together with the 7.86p per share interim dividend gives a total dividend per share of 20.20p (2022: 18.88p), up 7.0% in total.

Dividend cover (the ratio of adjusted profit after tax to dividends paid and proposed) is 3.78 times (2022: 3.47 times).

The final dividend for the financial year ended March 2023 is subject to approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 20 July 2023 and, if approved, will be paid on 18 August 2023 to shareholders on the register at 14 July 2023.

Halma has made good progress in the second half of the financial year to date. We continue to benefit from our strong purpose, our diverse portfolio, and our resilient, long-term growth drivers. These strategic qualities, together with the essential nature of many of our products and services, have underpinned increasing demand across the Group. The Board expects Adjusted profit before taxation for the year ending 31 March 2022 to be in line with market consensus expectations (see notes 1 and 2).

The Group is expected to deliver a further sequential improvement in revenue in the second half of the year and substantial revenue growth in the year as a whole. Order intake has continued to be ahead of both revenue this year and order intake for the same period last year.

.. und die Dividende wird angehoben, nicht mehr selbstverständlich in den aktuellen Zeiten.

Together with the 6.54p per share interim dividend, this would result in a total dividend for the year of 16.50p (2019: 15.71p), up 5%, making this the 41st consecutive year of dividend per share growth of 5% or more.

Halma bleibt ihrer Linie treu, durch gute Zukäufe anorganisch zu wachsen.

Halma ist ja eher eine Holding, mit vielen kleinen Beteiligungen.
Gegen Zukäufe spricht da erstmal nichts zumal sie in der Vergangenheit ja bewiesen haben, diese entsprechend profitabel zu machen.
Und der Kurs scheint diese Strategie ja auch zu honorieren.
