Just some more about POSCO's decision to hold off with Anson until the Straits Of Hormuz start getting back to normal ;
It's fair dinkum I reckon.
70% 0f South Korea's oil passes through the Straits Of Hormuz - 350 super tankers per year ! The company reported significant impacts on its first-quarter 2026 financial results due to the crisis - noting that "rising raw material costs and geopolitical tensions" significantly affected logistics, including shipping, and domestic steel operations". As Tab posted, rising lithium prices in it's battery materials division only served to "significantly reduce losses" to the company. Fuel prices in South Korea have risen sharply - the same kind of pain that has been felt by industry (and consumers !) here. On top of all this, the US dollar was at it's highest against the SK Won since the global financial crisis at one point this year ..........etc., etc.
This "global uncertainty" is real for a massive multinational like POSCO - they have ALOT to lose. It's not some lame excuse like some here are guessing.
If POSCO were to go ahead with an expensive "trial" at this stage, the shareholders on some kind of South Korean Hot Copper would be screaming like 6-year old girls.
They'll be back imo.
PS: Ich halte noch alle Stücke.....![]()

ASN doesnt need to be producing lithium to move to $100m then $150m then $200m then $300m then $400m market capitalisation as the company progresses incrementally
not sure why the need to be fixated with timelines to producing lithium. By then and if ASN get theres ASN will be around $600m to $1b market caps if you take GLNs valuation.
my point right here and now is that ASN is way undervalued relative peers who have similar sized lithium resources. ASN should definitely also have a premiun being based in the US.
thats all that needs be considered at this moment in time

Transformational step forward for Anson Resources.
