Thought I'd start a new thread that we can all use and discuss DHR's current activities/ future announcements.

Valuation

MCap 32mill (at 2c), 2.25mill cash, $14mill listed investments. EV approx. 15.75 million

Company Investments

Lakes Oil

- DHR owns 35.7% stake in LKO, holdings currently valued at $14 million AUD
- Advanced, drill ready, onshore conventional gas prospects in Victoria
- Also aquired NavGas assets – Roma Shelf, Queensland and Pirie Torrens, Wilkatana Oilfield.
- Court hearing date scheduled for 14 March 2017 vs Vic Govt (expected to take 2-3 days), positive outcome would be a game changer for the company IMO ---> potential to become a Victorian gas producer within 15 months

Dark Horse Energy

- 100% DHR subsidiary
- Focused on renewable and thermal fuel sources
- Advancing Argentina thermal project to tender (600-1200MW)

- IMO one would be hard pressed to find a better management team in this end of town IMO...

Neil Stuart – Cofounder of Orocobre, current lithium producer capped at ~1.4billion AUD

Las Tapias

- Mined for beryl 1938-1965 with zones up to 80% spodumene and crystals up to 3m long. The spodumene contains extremely high average historical grades of 5.5% Li2O
- 300-400m x 150-200m pegmatite identified, lithium grades up to 5.74% confirmed with recent assays
- 3,000m drilling program scheduled March 2018

El Totoral

- Recent remote sensing program have mapped extensive pegmatites in the area of strike lengths up to 4.5kms
- Historical surface samples of 3.28% Li2O
- Detailed geological mapping and sampling underway, results due this month (Jan 2018)

- Contains 2x separate belts approx. 5kms x 1.5km each with linear pegmatites up to 600m long and 30m wide. Further mapping underway.

Novillo Negro

- Pegmatites identified up to a strike length of 2kms long and 1.5kms wide. Further mapping underway

Los Domos Gold Project

- Combined exploration licence of 105 km2 in Santa Cruz, Argentina
- Highly prospective for large tonnage Au/Ag, epithermal vein/breccia style mineralisation
- Prolific gold producing region,including Cerro Vanguadia owned by AngoGold Ashanti, and Cerro Negro owned by Goldcorp
- La Punta Target – 1,000m x 500m with grab samples up to 56.7 g/t Au

LAS TAPIAS

A first stage drilling plan has been designed for Las Tapias with 25 holes for a total of 3,000 metres, WITH MOST EXPECTED to be 100 to 150 metres deep.This work will commence as soon as drilling permits have been secured, WHICH IS EXPECTED IN MARCH 2018.

The mineralised pegmatite is an ellipsoidal feature with a measured length of 300m to 400m, a width of 150m to 200m and an UNKNOWN DEPTH determined from surface and underground mapping at the mine. 

VERY LARGE crystals of SPODUMENE in massive formations have been mapped on surface and underground (refer photos included below). 

A total of 142 representative rock chip samples were obtained and assayed ‐ 39 from underground and 103 from the surface.

ALL UNDERGROUND LITHIUM SAMPLES RETURNED LITHIUM CONTENT. They are predominantly 2m‐long representative channel samples from the drives and caves, and cover a significant proportion of the old working spaces.

There are two separate, continuous 30 metre sections within the underground caves that 
AVERAGE 2.47% and 1.11% Li2O each. 

BEST UNDERGROUND RESULTS of Li2O are: 5.63% (A‐1106), 5.74% (A‐1108) and 4.93% (A‐1109). 

The results of this initial drilling are expected to move the project towards the estimation of a maiden Indicated and Inferred JORC Resource. 


Mapping and sampling show the Pegmatite Outcropping contains 80% Spodumene crystals(2%Li+)and Size is a minimum of 400m length x 250m width with an unknown depth,but by illustration appears to be upwards of 100m..A very large deposit in its own right..

EL TOTORAL

-Pegmatite outcropping and swarms over an extensive 20km of potential strike according to mapping from aerial image.
The San Luis mine which runs along the Totoral belt extends for more than 4.5km and has returned high grade samples of

2.17%LiO2
1.57%LiO2
1.43%LiO2

SAN MARTIN

-Extensive Pegmatite swarms over a 10-15km Area that to date have been mapped but not tested.

NOVILLO NEGRO

-Extensive pegmatite swarms over a 5km potential strike that is also mapped but yet to be tested.

Capital Structure

-CONFIDENCE-

The Company’s Board and management have elected to convert $500,000 in fees owed to them into the raising on the same terms as the third party investors.

Settlement of the raising and the allotment of the shares is scheduled to occur on 6 December 2017. A total of 250,000,000 shares will be issued under the arrangements outlined above.
The funds raised will be used on the Argentine properties as follows:

Geological mapping and assaying of the Las Tapias Mine and El Totoral‐San Luis Mine properties (Lithium). 

Regional exploration of the San Luis Province exploration licence suite (Lithium). 

Commencement of exploration drilling, followed by resource definition drilling, at Las Tapias and El Totoral‐San Luis Mines (Lithium). 

Detailed geological mapping, soil sampling, assaying and geophysics of the Los Domos Project (Gold). 

Development of power generation projects for Dark Horse Energy Limited (Power).
