VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GT Gold (TSX-V:GTT) (the “Company” or “GT Gold”) is pleased to announce that exploration crews are now mobilizing to commence an 18,000-metre drill program targeting significant expansion of two important discoveries last year at the company’s 100%-owned Tatogga Project.


Highlights:

- Initial drilling with two rigs will simultaneously step out west and east of the high-grade near-surface gold zone defined at Saddle South through abundant multi-gram intercepts last summer including 51.53 g/t Au over 6.95 m (TTD007), 14.75 g/t Au over 12.15 m (TTD019) and 20.02 g/t Au over 8.25 m (TTD046).

- Drilling will begin by mid-June and is more than fully funded given GT Gold’s current $9 million cash position.

- GT Gold’s large-scale Tatogga Project in northwest B.C.’s prolific Golden Triangle covers 425 sq. km and features its own “triangle” of potential deposit opportunities - Saddle South, Saddle North and Quash-Pass, all with excellent nearby infrastructure and on trend with the Red Chris mine to the southeast.

Saddle South

A wide-open high-grade gold system with mineralized intercepts along 1 km of E-W strike to >500 metres down-dip from surface was outlined by 86 drill holes in 2017 (first-ever drilling). Significantly, only two holes tested an 800-metre long IP anomaly to the east that may represent sulphide-rich veins as demonstrated by late-season hole TTD059, which returned 12.12 g/t Au over 5.83 metres.

Saddle North

Two of the last drill holes in 2017, spaced 1 km apart (TTD062 and TTD064) on the eastern side of Saddle North, intersected a copper-gold-silver porphyry system, parts of which host sheeted quartz veins enriched with gold and silver, and metal ratios, akin to those seen at Red Chris. High-priority targets are being defined at Saddle North as GT Gold’s geological team follows up on this exciting early-stage discovery that may be interpreted as the “engine” of the Saddle mineralizing system, intersected over an east-west distance of nearly 3 km in 2017.

Quash-Pass

Further evidence of robust mineralizing events at Tatogga comes from the Quash-Pass area which is 7 km southwest of Saddle and features a 6-km-long trend of elevated gold and silver, along with Saddle South “pathfinder” elements such as zinc, copper, and bismuth in soils. Quash-Pass, which has yet to be drilled, features many of the same geological, geochemical and geophysical characteristics as Saddle South, and crews will be further investigating this promising area in the months ahead.

Two drills are now working at the high-grade Saddle gold-silver discovery, located on GT Gold Corp.'s 100-per-cent-owned Tatogga property in northwest British Columbia. The 2018 drill program will encompass a minimum of 18,000 metres of diamond drilling in an estimated 56 holes, with potential for program expansion and drilling to mid-November.

Saddle South

Drilling is focused on expanding the high-grade near-surface gold-silver zone defined last summer. Results from 2017 included 51.53 grams per tonne gold over 6.95 metres (TTD007), 14.75 g/t Au over 12.15 m (TTD019), 20.02 g/t Au over 8.25 m (TTD046), and 31.79 g/t Au and 1,141.10 g/t silver over 3.01 m (TTD058). Holes will test possible extensions in all directions outward from the core area outlined in 2017.

Saddle North

Additional geophysics (induced polarization) are under way at the exciting new copper-gold-silver porphyry discovery at Saddle North, drilled near the close of the 2017 season. Initial drill results suggest strong similarities to the nearby Red Chris deposit. Current geophysics are looking deeper, in more detail, and also along trend, providing an enhanced understanding of the geometry and apparent scale of the intrusive-related mineralizing system to depth. Once all the geophysical data are acquired, modelled and interpreted, drill targets will be prioritized, including deepening of discovery hole TTD062, which was mineralized to the end of hole and bottomed in its best grades. Drilling on these targets should commence by the end of July.

Brent und Joe haben auch selber gut zugeschlagen.
Jetzt steigen auch weiterhin institutionelle Anleger ein (ein Gerücht spricht von Friedland).
Macquarie hat Coverage begonnen mit Target Price CAD 6.00 !
Alles sehr bullish momentan.
Hoffentlich halten die Bohrergebnisse, was der Hype verspricht.

mehr als verwegen

Allerdings vor gerade mal 10 Wochen war GTT
ja auf sein Jahreslow bei 0,41 C$ konsolidiert
auf die langfristige Unterstützungslinie
und hatte das große Gap aus 2017 geschlossen

Stolze 400% plus bislang für GTT von dort aus
Die Chancen dürften gut stehen dass sich das Ende
der Fahnenstange noch ein gutes Stück weiter
oben befindet

GT Gold Completes 2018 Exploration Drilling Program at Saddle

Vancouver, British Columbia – November 8, 2018 - GT Gold Corp. (“GT Gold,” “GT,” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: GTT) is pleased to announce that it has completed 24,749m of diamond drilling at its Tatogga property in northwest B.C. The original 18,000m program was expanded following the discovery of extensive and high-grade Au-Cu porphyry-style mineralization at GT Gold’s Saddle North occurrence.

The Company is excited by the many successes achieved this season and looks forward to announcing further drill results over the next several months, as analytical work is completed. GT Gold also recognizes that its accomplishments were largely the result of hard work put in by our exploration team and its key partners, including the Tahltan First Nation.

Key objectives that were met in this season’s program included:
• successfully drill-testing and expanding the Saddle North porphyry system, first identified late in the 2017 drill campaign
• extending the Saddle South Au-Ag mineralized zones along strike and successfully identifying additional high-grade Au mineralization at depth
• implementing an oriented core program to better aid in understanding ore controls at Saddle
• completing a more detailed sampling and geologic mapping program at Saddle
• expanding reconnaissance-scale geological mapping southward 6-8km to the exciting Quash-Pass occurrence, where continued grid geochemical and geophysical work further defined a high-potential precious metals-bearing hydrothermal system.
• initiating route planning and permitting for a road to the Saddle area from Highway 37

Saddle South
Mineralization at Saddle South has been extended to well over 1000m along strike. It remains open to both east and west, and at depth, and a new trend with high-grade intercepts was intersected at depth to the south. Implementation of our oriented core program has yielded a better understanding of the structural controls at Saddle South and this enabled us to more successfully target Au-mineralized zones (see GT press release dated September 4, 2018).

Saddle North
Airborne magnetic ground Induced Polarization (IP) surveys completed in 2018 indicated an extensive, strongly magnetic zone coincident with a chargeabilty anomaly, centred on the Au-Cu porphyry intercept drilled in late 2017. Drill testing this anomaly gave us our second major discovery in as many seasons. A new Au-Cu-Ag porphyry discovery, known to come to surface beneath thin overburden, has now been intersected in twelve holes along a strike length of over 600m, across a width of approximately 500m, and to a depth of greater than 1100m (see Figure 1. Mineralization at Saddle North remains open along strike and at depth and grades and widths generally appear to increase with depth (see GT press releases dated September 10, 2018 and October 10,2018)).

The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, July 8, edition that Industrial Alliance Securities analyst George Topping sees GT Gold as undervalued given the potential of its Saddle North project in British Columbia, which he anticipates will draw significant interest from senior producers. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that accordingly, Mr. Topping raised his share target to $4.50 from $3, while maintaining his "buy" recommendation. Analysts on average target the shares at $2.85. On Monday, the miner released its first mineral resource estimate for the property, located in the Golden Triangle region of B.C. Mr. Topping says the total resource projection is "huge" and "what senior producers want." Mr. Topping says in a note: "Saddle North's size will be attractive to suitors. Senior gold producer Newmont has already secured its capped 14.9-per-cent stake. Although Newmont owns a Right of First Offer on the Tatogga property, other senior producers will be interested. Newcrest owns 70 per cent of the Red Chris mine next door. Most senior gold producers appreciate gold/copper porphyries as the copper provides lower AISC and copper-related cash flow still garners a gold multiple."

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 10, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GT Gold Corp. (TSX-V:GTT) (the “Company” or “GT Gold”) is pleased to announce that, as of last Thursday, August 6, exploration drilling has commenced at the Company’s 100%-owned Tatogga property in northern British Columbia, Canada.

“The industry still needs further consolidation,” Bristow said Wednesday. “Canada still needs more work on consolidation.”

For its part, Barrick remains interested in acquiring more so-called tier-1 assets, including Freeport-McMoRan Inc.’s Grasberg mine in Indonesia, Bristow said.

“Barrick as you know is completely, single-mindedly focused on tier-1 assets, and so it’s going to be of interest to us because there aren’t many tier-1 assets left that we don’t own or own part of,” Bristow said.

Tier-1 gold assets are generally considered to have output of at least 500,000 ounces a year and long-term costs at the lower end of industry averages.

Mergers and acquisitions are likely to dominate the sector in Africa, and are needed in Canada, where the world’s second-largest gold miner is based.

GTT wird doch durch Newmont mit Barabfindung übernommen, das hatte ich noch nie.
Die letzten News von beiden war das am 21 .05. alles abgewickelt werden soll, doch bei meiner Bank
wissen die von nichts. Nun meine Bitte an Euch kann mir jemand sagen was ich jetzt tun muss damit ich nicht auf wertlose Aktien sitzen bleibe.
