GM scheint die Sache um Gegensatz zu Tesla konsequent und mit den Regulatoren anzugehen. Tesla scheint eher eine 'Guerilla-Taktik' zu verfolgen (Produkt in den Markt knallen -> Fans heiss machen -> Druck auf Regulatoren ausüben - egal wie sicher das ist). Mal gucken wie lange die Taktik gut geht bei Tesla. Tesla scheint jedenfalls mittlerweile für jeden erkennbar technologisch abgeschlagen.

Und dann klagte die Versicherung eben nun, um das Geld wieder von Tesla reinzuholen.

Man kann natürlich Mutmaßungen darüber anstellen, warum die Versicherung Tesla überhaupt verklagt. Welche "Information" die Versicherung über das besagte Tesla-Fahrzeug besitzt, wird nicht genauer ausgeführt. Da steht ja nicht "Upon information or belief", sondern:

Upon information and belief, the Tesla was defective and unreasonably dangerous when it left Defendant Tesla's control and was placed into the stream of commerce.

Und: mMn werden wir das auch, zumindest in diesem Zusammenhang, nie erfahren. Denn es wird wahrscheinlich so laufen, wie auch schon bei den Walmart Solar roofs: am Ende wird Tesla klammheimlich bezahlen, wenigstens einen Teil

Und nun stelle ich mir vor, wie STATE FARM und andere Versicherer in den USA mit ihrem Insider-Wissen von Tesla-Brand zu Tesla-Brand im Falle eines Versicherungsschadens gehen

Auch das gehört zum Tod durch tausend Stiche.

Aha. Dann guckte ich mal, was die für öffentliche Produkte haben und bin u.a. auf diesen Klein-Aktien-Fonds "Globalance Zukunftbeweger Focused Aktienfonds" gestossen --> LU2049785145 --> https://www.onvista.de/fonds/GLOBALANCE-ZUKUNFTBEWEGER-FOCUS…

Dort werden auch praktischerweise Monatsberichte in Hochglanz herausgegeben (dieser neue Fonds mit nur sehr dünnem Track-Record hat ziemlich hohe Kosten und schlägt vermutlich auch daher auf Jahre nicht mal einen schnöden DAX-ETF. Vorteil: man kann ein total gutes Gewissen dabei haben ).

Dort werden u.a. die Top 10 abgebildet (Top-Position ist ein obskures "Globalance Climate Offset"-Derivat, über das ich aber nichts in Erfahrung bringen konnte. Das soll aber -9.9°C im Fonds machen )

Elon Musk's attorney accused the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday of taking advantage of a court agreement "to try to muzzle and harass Mr. Musk and Tesla," while failing to pay out the $40 million the SEC collected in fines.

Musk and Tesla signed an agreement with the SEC in 2018 over fraud charges after Musk tweeted he could take Tesla private without first filing appropriate regulatory notices to the SEC about the announcement. Tesla and Musk agreed to put in place controls to review Musk's tweets and pay $40 million in fines, which the SEC would distribute to shareholders.

The filing in New York accuses the SEC of taking advantage of that agreement by opening investigations and issuing subpoenas into Musk's further communications on Twitter without the permission of the court involved in the settlement. The filing also alleges that the SEC has failed to distribute the $40 million it collected in a timely and appropriate manner, violating the agreement.

Musk's attorney, Alex Spiro, also accused the SEC of trying to violate Musk's First Amendment rights. "The SEC seems to be targeting Mr. Musk and Tesla for unrelenting investigation largely because Mr. Musk remains an outspoken critic of the government; the SEC’s outsized efforts seem calculated to chill his exercise of First Amendment rights rather than to enforce generally applicable laws in evenhanded fashion," Spiro wrote.

Das kann auch mal wieder ein Ablenkungsmanöver von seinem Steuerspar-Modell sein (siehe oben).
So ein Court hearing kann man ja auch wieder zurückziehen. Machte ja EM/Tesla auch schon in der Vergangenheit (siehe z.B. im Fall von Skabooshka/Randeep Hothi).
