Bin in erster linie hier weil die Aktie am boden liegt und ein kleiner Rebound überfällig ist und in kürze die Phase 2 Daten kommen die wie ich denke gut ausfallen werden .Aufgrund der niedrigen Bewertung sollte eine Verdoppelung drin sein .

Zelltherapie hat enorm Potenzial....
Habe selbst eine Wirbelsäulenversteifung L5S1 hinter mir und die OP war schrecklich, Gleitwirbel und Co. sind nicht so selten wie man glaubt.
Hier können diverse Unfälle behandelt werden mit einer Minimal Invasiven OP.

Die bisherigen Daten von ALLOB sind Vielverprechend ,, Die Aktie hat zumindest nach meinen Daten noch nie die 1 Million Volumengrenze geknackt das zeigt was für ein Schattendasein diese Firma führt erinnert mich einwenig an Theranexus die auch keiner bei knapp über €2 haben wollte .Mit guten Daten oder vielleicht eine Partnerschaft (auch Übernahme ist nicht ausgeschlossen) könnten wir mit dieser low float Aktie schnell eine Verdopplung sehen ,langfristig hat die Aktie natürlich wesentlich mehr Upside Potential wenn die Produkte die final Studien erfolgreich abschließen aber solange habe ich nicht vor zu halten .GL

Expansion of the pipeline from orthopedics into inflammatory conditions, including COVID-19, leveraging Bone Therapeutics platform of differentiated MSCs

Gosselies, Belgium, 20 August 2020, 7am CEST – BONE THERAPEUTICS (Euronext Brussels and Paris: BOTHE), the cell therapy company established in addressing high unmet medical needs in orthopedics and bone diseases, today announces it has received EUR 0.6 million in grants from the Walloon Region (Belgium) for research and initial preparatory steps towards clinical development of BT-20, its new allogeneic and off-the-shelf cell therapy product. Bone Therapeutics is now leveraging its expertise in Mesenchymal Stromal Cell (MSC) biology to expand its portfolio from orthopedics and bone diseases to inflammatory conditions.

MSCs and MSC derived cells have documented immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties and several cell therapy approaches with MSC derived products are currently in development, or recently approved, for the treatment of multiple inflammatory conditions. Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), an acute inflammatory lung condition with a high mortality rate or prolonged hospitalization, is frequent in severe cases of COVID-19. Despite several approaches in development, there are currently limited treatments for ARDS and current medical interventions are mostly limited to general care. Bone Therapeutics, in recognizing this high unmet medical need, initiated the development of BT-20 as the Bone Therapeutics’ new allogeneic anti-inflammatory cell therapy product. BT-20 is produced using an adaptation of Bone Therapeutics’ validated bone marrow derived MSC manufacturing platform and showed immunomodulating effects in in-vitro non-clinical studies.

The funding now received will help to continue further the pre-clinical development and the preparation of the submission of the Clinical Trial Application (CTA) for a phase I clinical trial of BT-20, for which Bone Therapeutics had already received initial Scientific Advice from the Belgian Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP) in April 2020. The intended phase I clinical study would evaluate the therapeutic potential of BT-20 to improve COVID-19 ARDS patients’ lung health and function and to reduce mortality. The study would be a controlled, randomized, double-blind of BT-20 versus placebo in addition to standard supportive treatments, in patients with moderate to severe COVID-19 related ARDS. Bone Therapeutics will consider the potential re-emergence of COVID-19 associated ARDS cases and the corresponding unmet medical need to decide the timing for the CTA submission for approval from the FAMHP, and subsequent conduct of the study, subject to securing the necessary financing.

“Bone Therapeutics has built considerable expertise in MSCs and cell therapies for orthopedics and bone diseases. We are now at the stage where we can expand this expertise to a broader differentiated MSC based cell and gene therapy treatment portfolio, including inflammatory conditions,” said Miguel Forte, MD, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Bone Therapeutics. “With the current global pandemic, there is an urgent need for therapies to tackle not just the immediate infection, but the critical and fatal inflammatory syndrome that COVID-19 causes. The non-dilutive funding was awarded by the Directorate of Research Projects of the Public Service of Wallonia for Economy, Employment and Research (SPW-EER) under the form of non-refundable grants within the framework of the "COVID 19" measure. The measure was launched by the Walloon Government and by Minister Willy Borsus, Vice-President of Wallonia and Minister of Economy, Research and Innovation, Digital Technology, Agriculture and Regional Planning. It has as aim to facilitate the implementation of research projects to combat the coronavirus and the COVID19 pandemic. The costs associated with the BT-20 program are not expected to change the current cash flow guidance as the funding now received will cover research and initial clinical preparation costs, with the next steps of the program, namely the conduct of the clinical study, being dependent on further funding.

Operational and Corporate Highlights

During the first wave of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Bone Therapeutics decided to reduce the recruitment activities of its studies to a minimum to support healthcare systems in the respective trial countries enabling them to concentrate on treating COVID-19 patients whilst necessary.
Following the lifting of the COVID-19 lockdown measures, Bone Therapeutics initiated the recruitment of its pivotal phase III study with the next generation of viscosupplement, JTA-004, targeting osteoarthritic knee pain in mid-May 2020. The clinical trial has now been approved in all seven territories in which Clinical Trial Applications (CTA) of the study had been submitted, these being Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hong Kong, Moldavia, Poland and United Kingdom. Approximately 20% of the targeted assessable patients have been treated since the initiation of the trial.
The phase IIb study of its allogeneic cell therapy product, ALLOB, in patients with difficult tibial fractures has received approval from regulatory authorities in the main six of the seven European countries in which the Company has applied for the study. Patient recruitment is expected to start in the second half of the year.
In March, the company appointed Stefanos Theoharis, PhD as Chief Business Officer (CBO), further strengthening its management team. With more than 15 years of business development experience in the pharma and biotech industry, specifically in the cell and gene therapy space, Stefanos will be responsible for the company’s corporate development activities and the execution of its business strategy.
Post period, in August, Bone Therapeutics was granted EUR 1.0 million in non-dilutive funding under the form of recoverable cash advances from the Walloon Region, Belgium. This funding will provide additional financial support to advance its current phase III clinical study with JTA-004.
Also in August, the Company received two additional grants with a total value of EUR 0.6 million from the Walloon Region for research and initial preparatory steps towards clinical development of BT-20, its new allogeneic and off-the-shelf cell therapy product, leveraging its expertise in Mesenchymal Stromal Cell (MSC) biology to expand its portfolio from orthopedics and bone diseases to inflammatory conditions. Both grants, as well as the recoverable cash advances, are subject to conditions precedent.

Financial Highlights for the period ended 30 June 2020

In April, Bone Therapeutics announced that it secured EUR 11.00 million financing. The financing operation consisted of EUR 4.75 million bridge loans, EUR 1.26 million in equity private placement (through immediate conversion of convertible bonds (CBs)) by existing shareholders and, on an as-needed basis, a EUR 4.99 million in private placement of CBs.
Subsequently, in May, Bone Therapeutics received an additional EUR 4.00 million of financing from existing investors in the form of subordinated bonds with the option to convert. The total amount of committed gross proceeds for both funding operations amount to EUR 15.00 million.
The structure of the financing (mainly non-dilutive) combined with an operating loss for the period led to a negative shareholders’ equity of EUR 4.6 million at the end of June 2020.
During the first six months of 2020, total operating income amounted to EUR 1.04 million, a slight decrease compared to the same period in 2019 (EUR 1.68 million).
Operating loss for the period amounted to EUR 9.10 million, compared to EUR 5.44 million in H1 2019.
The Company ended the first six months of 2020 with EUR 10.04 million in cash and cash equivalents. Cash used for the period amounted to EUR 8.86 million, excluding net proceeds obtained from financing activities, compared to EUR 5.12 million over the same period of 2019.

Outlook for the remainder of 2020

At the current recruitment rate, patient enrolment for the JTA-004 phase III study is on track to be completed before year-end. Bone Therapeutics anticipates reporting topline results on the 3-month primary endpoint and 6-month follow-up period in the second half of 2021.
The Company expects to initiate clinical trial activities and patient recruitments for the ALLOB phase IIb study in patients with difficult tibial fractures in European clinical centers in the second half of 2020.
As the evolution of the pandemic is uncertain and cannot be predicted at present, both studies may encounter a delay compared to the anticipated schedule. The situation in Europe and Hong Kong is actively and closely monitored on an ongoing basis.
In November, Bone Therapeutics plans to initiate the first discussions with the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in preparation for the next steps in the clinical development of JTA-004 in the US, a large, important market.
In the second half of 2020, the Company also expects to report results from the 2-year follow-up period of the phase IIa study with ALLOB in patients undergoing a spinal fusion procedure.
Bone Therapeutics continues to hold discussions with potential partners to explore business opportunities. It also intends to prepare a fundraise in the second half of 2020. Existing shareholders have already taken a pre-commitment to participate.
Good cost and cash management will remain a key priority, as already reflected in our operating expenses. Cash used for the full year 2020 is anticipated to amount to EUR 15.00-16.00 million, largely driven by external costs associated with increased clinical trial activities and costs associated with the JTA phase III and ALLOB phase IIb clinical studies. Taking into account the total committed gross proceeds of EUR 15 million raised through the Private Placements and in bridge loans in April and May of this year, the convertible bonds and the recoverable cash advances granted by the Walloon Region, the Company anticipates having sufficient cash to carry out its business objectives into Q2 2021. This assumes normal operation, as there may be further effects of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. Potential delay in patient recruitment in both studies could lower the expected cash burn and extend the anticipated cash runway further into 2021.

Catalent to acquire Bone Therapeutics’ cell therapy manufacturing facility for EUR 12 million

Bone Therapeutics and Catalent shall enter into a supply agreement for the further development of ALLOB

Gosselies, Belgium, 29 October 2020, 7am CEST – BONE THERAPEUTICS (Euronext Brussels and Paris: BOTHE), the cell therapy company addressing unmet medical needs in orthopedics and other diseases, and Catalent Pharma Solutions, Inc. (“Catalent”), the leading global provider of advanced delivery technologies, development, and manufacturing solutions for drugs, biologics, cell and gene therapies, and consumer health products, today announce the signing of share purchase and supply agreements. The agreements will streamline and economize the manufacturing operations of ALLOB, Bone Therapeutics’ allogeneic cell therapy product and will enable Bone Therapeutics to focus its strategy on the development of products from its differentiated MSC (Mesenchymal Stromal Cell) platform of cell and gene therapeutic targets for orthopedics and other indications.

Under the terms of the share purchase agreement, Catalent will acquire Bone Therapeutics’ cell therapy manufacturing subsidiary, Skeletal Cell Therapy Support SA (SCTS), for gross proceeds of EUR 12 million. The transaction is expected to close in November 2020. The equity purchase price, net of SCTS’s debt (EUR 3 million), cash adjustments, and taking into account the restructuring of some Bone Therapeutics’ existing liabilities (EUR 3 million), will generate net proceeds of approximately EUR 6 million. This will help support activities furthering Bone Therapeutics’ product development for its clinical assets and the expansion of its differentiated MSC platform. SCTS possesses a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)-certified manufacturing site, based in the Brussels South Charleroi Biopark, in Belgium. The facility is equipped with lab space for research and quality control as well as clean rooms for production. Bone Therapeutics’ ALLOB is currently produced at this site. Following completion of the transaction, the SCTS manufacturing infrastructure and production operating teams will become part of Catalent’s Cell & Gene Therapy division.

Bone Therapeutics and Catalent additionally signed an associated supply agreement. Under this agreement, the acquired manufacturing entity will continue to service the production of ALLOB for Bone Therapeutics and its partners. This will grant Bone Therapeutics access to Catalent’s global network of clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities, and will ensure ongoing optimization, sustainability and a global reach for the production of ALLOB, as the product heads through clinical development and anticipated commercialization. The transaction excludes any IP rights, thus Bone Therapeutics will retain the know-how and ability to tech transfer ALLOB production.

Ich bin nun voll investiert, leider kein Abstauber erwischt sondern teuer aus dem Ask gekauft.

Ich gehe weiterhin von einer erfolgreichen P3 für JTA-004 aus!

Im Dezember wurde die Rekrutierung abgeschlossen, Endpunkte werden 6 Monate nach Behandlung ermittelt. Die Ergebnisse sind für die erste Septemberhälfte angekündigt.
Cash runway ist bis November, es gibt aber ein Darlehen bis zu 16m€ was für ein weiteres Jahr reichen würde.
Es gibt noch keine Vertriebspartnerschaft für JTA-004. Es wäre die erste Zulassung für Bothe und hier ist ein extrem hoher Hebel.

Bin ebenfalls investiert. Hab mir am Wochenende die bisherigen Studien von JTA-004 angeschaut. Hört sich vielversprechend an. Wartet meines Erachtens nur noch auf die Zulassung.

Ich sehe hier ebenfalls eine hohe Zulassungswahrscheinlichkeit. Der Markt für Viscosupplements ist über $2 mrd. und wächst konstant, dies beinhaltet neben Knie aber auch die Hüfte. BOTHE hat hier potentiell den neuen Best in Class Wirkstoff. Mit Indikationserweiterung auf Hüfte und einem starken Vertriebspartner sind hier mehrere hundert Millionen $ peak sales möglich. Konkurrenz ist Hyalgan, Supartz, Synvisc, Orthovisc, and Euflexxa.

Wie sich das Umsatzpotential am Ende in Marktkapitalisierung darstellt kommt natürlich auf die zukünftigen Lizenzverträge an, hier wird es dann nochmal spannend. Es ist aber schonmal gut, dass man den Vertrieb nicht selber machen möchte.

Durch die Arbeit für die EMA (CHMP) und die Rolle als Chair of the Commercialization Committee of the International Society of Cell Therapy ist der CEO bestens vernetzt und sollte den Zulassungsantrag unfallfrei bei der FDA einreichen können. Mit den noch recht neuen CMO und CSO hat man zudem gute Leute an Bord geholt.

Vielen Dank für die weiteren Informationen.
Aufgrund der guten Vernetzung des Management Boards denke ich, dass man hier ein starken Vertriebspartner finden wird. In den Interviews von Miguel Forte wird immer deutlich, dass man sich hier in erster Linie auf das Produkt konzentriert und dieses passen muss. Das wirkt auf mich alles sehr bodenständig und fundiert. Darrüber hinaus hat man mit ALLOB direkt das nächste Produkt in der Pipeline.

Insgesamt stimmen mich hier die Aspekte sehr positiv. Ich bin gespannt auf die erste Septemberhälfte.

Ich sehe hier den fairen Wert bei 100-150 Mio € Marktkapitalisierung ausgehend von Umsatzpotential und Zulassungswahrscheinlichkeiten. Dann hoffen wir mal, dass die P3 wie erwartet ausfällt und die Firma etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Die Aktie hat alle Zutaten für einen ordentlichen Knall:

- Geringe Mcap
- Wirkstoff potentiell Best in Class
- Solides Management
- Aktie kaum bekannt und nicht künstlich gepusht
- Wichtiger Meilenstein in wenigen Wochen

Jedes Biotech Unternehmen in einer P2 Phase landet bereits bei einer Marktkapitalisierung von 100 - mehr Mio. €.

Ich wäre schon ziemlich enttäuscht, wenn wir uns nach erfolgreicher P3 darunter bewegen.

Hier fehlt aktuell einfach an Aufmerksamkeit. Aber was aktuell nicht ist, kann ja noch werden.
