so kleinen Firma beteiligt. Doch der Kurs spricht eine andere Sprache!
Also, wer was zu Nocom sagen kann, hier ist der richtige Ort.
Gruss

Good luck,
Holger

Sieht doch gut aus heute. 26 SEK +20%.

Rossi

Hallo Sub-Zero,

Bin weiterhin sehr positiv gestimmt.

Hi Nocom Fans,

Nocom Software starts co-operation with Itera ASA
Nocom Software AB, a distribution company in the Nocom group, is starting co-operation with the Swedish subsidiaries of the Norwegian company, Itera ASA, concerning mobile Internet and the analysis of web and firewall traffic. The first stage of the co-operation comprises the four Itera companies; Diator, IT-Partner, Lan International and Agens.
With products from Nocom Software, Itera ASA will create a centre of competence in Stockholm, working with application development for mobile units. Initially, the group will consist of ten people in Stockholm and will later be expanded to include Itera consultants in Frankfurt, Berlin, Oslo and Copenhagen. From the start, Itera ASA will be able to offer ASP solutions in Oslo and Stockholm for customers who do not want to host systems themselves.
"In working with Itera ASA, we gain a strong partner offering customers support in management consulting, application development and operation. Itera`s knowledge and competence, combined with our products enable us to offer the market exciting solutions focused on intrabusiness, in other words, solutions for internal business operations", says Peter Lämber, Vice President of Nocom Software AB.
"Nocom Software offers advanced software and the support that we need to start the competence centre. We will, above all, work with the Nokia WAP Server and analysis tools from WebTrends, represented by Nocom Software, to create adapted solutions for our customers," says Ulf Magnusson, Managing Director of IT-Partner and Diator.

Nocom acquires 70 % of TradeVision from SAS
Nocom AB (publ), a leader in Internet and mobile systems solutions, has acquired 70% of TradeVision, a leading e-logistic provider to the transportation industry, from SMART AB a subsidiary of Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS). SAS is retaining a strategic interest of 30%. The transaction represents an investment by Nocom of 42 MSEK.
"Nocom`s investment in TradeVision will give us direct access to the Internet and mobile e-commerce expertise and technology. This is crucial for the ongoing development of our leading Internet-based logistics and tracking solution, TradeVision, says Claes Borglin, CEO of TradeVision. "We aim to offer comprehensive e-logistic solutions to all modes of transport by the end of this year. Together with the ability to connect all the business partners involved in the transportation chain, TradeVision will be able to provide seamless information flows throughout the shipment process from the inception of a shipment to the final delivery to the end customer", he continues. "Within a few years our objective is to become one of the leading e-logistic providers in the world and handle more than 1 billion transactions per year", Claes Borglin finishes.
Nocom will target this investment to take a leading position, together with SAS Cargo, in the large and fast expanding e-logistic market. It will also accelerate the international rollout of TradeVision WCM, wireless cargo management solution, based on Nocom`s advanced mobile platform. The investment and alliance between the two companies will focus on joint expansion of their worldwide sales and marketing efforts and establish a global infrastructure of both companies` products and services. The investment will also give Nocom direct access to an industry that is dependent on mobility as well as fast and secure information flows. The mobile e-solutions will enable the transportation industry to support the "just-in-time" and "time definite" business processes which rely upon access to real-time information flows.
"Logistics can make or break an Internet e-commerce company just like any traditional business. More and more companies recognise this and start to make large investments in physical distribution, that`s why everybody talks about e-logistics", says Anders Jonson, Executive Officer and founder of Nocom. "TradeVision is a leading company in its niche and has a transaction engine that can expand rapidly in the growing e-commerce society", he continues.
"This joint venture with Nocom AB offers SAS Cargo a great opportunity to be part of the exciting advancements in e-logistics and mobile commerce, as well as of the exceptional growth in this area", says Peter Grönlund, Vice President and General Manager of SAS Cargo. "The e-logistic is extremely important and the air-cargo industry needs to develop new solutions to increase efficiency to the benefit of our customers", Peter Grönlund continues

Breakthrough in Europe for Swedish e-logistic solution:
TradeVision provides e-logistic solution to Deutsche Post Euro Express
Stockholm, Sweden, June 19, 2000--- TradeVision, a part of the Nocom group, has signed an agreement with Deutsche Post Euro Express and its partners for the delivery of TradeVision LogiMan, an Internet-based logistics management and tracking solution. TradeVision will support Deutsche Post Euro Express and its partners with an integrated IT-system that will enable them to maintain full control of the logistic information flows relating to the Euro Express service, as well as to provide their customers with status tracking via the Internet.
Deutsche Post World Net, which includes the three brands; Deutsche Post, Postbank and Danzas, is one of the largest and most powerful mail and logistic groups in the world. TradeVision was chosen by Euro Express, a subsidiary of the Deutsche Post, as its logistics supporter due to the flexibility, delivery time and the high functionality of its solution. One of the unique features of TradeVision LogiMan that attracted Deutsche Post Euro Express was the ability to track the cargo at the container, shipment and piece level. Deutsche Post and partners will, through TradeVisions integrated e-logistic network, have the full control of the information flows within the Euro Express service. Moreover, the company will be able to offer their clients updates with tracking via the Internet, a strategically important function within e-commerce.
"Deutsche Post Euro Express is a major breakthrough for us in Europe. It will confirm our position as the leading e-logistic provider in Europe within the transportation sector and bring us over 100 million transactions per year. Within a few years our objective is to become the leading global e-logistic provider and to have more than 1 billion transactions in our system", says Claes Borglin, CEO of TradeVision. "We aim to offer comprehensive e-logistic solutions to all modes of transport by the end of this year. Together with the ability to connect all the business partners involved in the transportation chain in TradeVision Logiman™, we are able to provide seamless information flows throughout the shipment process from the inception of a shipment to the final delivery to the end customer."
It is to be understood from Carrie Ballard, Deutsche Post Customer Service Manager, that the TradeVision LogiMan™ system will enable Deutsche Post Euro Express to service customers proactively. Instead of customers contacting the company, it is now possible to notify customers of any shipment discrepancies or important milestone events according to customer requirements. The TradeVision LogiMan™ system tracks each shipment proactively and thereby automatically sends out discrepancy alerts. This will greatly assist Deutsche Post Euro Express in providing a more efficient customer service and deal with problem shipments more effectively.

Nocom Signs Agreement with Ericsson for Mobile Internet
Nocom AB (publ), in collaboration with Sun Microsystems, has signed a two year agreement with Ericsson Mobile Communications. The agreement concerns licenses and services for Ericsson`s portal Mobile Internet, which gives cell phone users access to Web-related services from their cell phones. In conjunction with this, Nocom Integration has received a letter of intent for consulting services in providing expertise support for the further development of Mobile Internet.
Nocom will supply the actual core for Ericsson`s Mobile Internet (www.mobileinternet.ericsson.com) - an advanced directory function (LDAP) for all users of the portal, regardless of Web or WAP clients. The technology is built on Sun Solaris. The agreement also covers licensing of iPlanet directory servers and support services.
"We already have a large number of registered users at Mobile Internet and the number will increase rapidly as our WAP phones come out on the market. With a large number of users in sight, it is important to build the service on proven and scalable technology," says Jan Ahrenbring, Vice President Marketing and Communication, Ericsson Mobile Communications.
"The investments we now see from leading players on the market for mobile Internet and WAP show that Nocom`s early focus on these types of mobile platform solutions was entirely correct. That we, together with Sun Microsystems, can deliver services and products to a strategic Ericsson project is further proof of this," says Anders Jonson, Executive Officer, Nocom.

Nocom launches MobilectrlTM
Nocom launches Nocom MobilectrlTM, a standard platform for developing mobile services. The platform is intended for companies that want to give their customers and employees fast, qualitative and secure information through their own controlled mobile information channel.
"With Nocom Mobilectrl, companies can be sure that the relevant information reaches the right customer, regardless of what type of WAP phone, PDA or mobile service provider the customer uses," says Stefan Edholm, CTO at Nocom. "We have drawn on our experiences from WAP Direct and our close collaboration with Europolitan, Nokia and Ericsson to create an efficient tool for companies and organizations to build close customer relationships through mobile technology."
Nocom Mobilectrl was developed in close co-operation with customers and users, who have been testing and evaluating the new technology through WAP Direct. The aim of Nocom Mobilectrlä is to simplify the development of mobile Business-to-Business (B2B) solutions to selected user groups or on companies` intra and extranets.
Some key functions of the platform are:
Device independence - works with most types of phones, PDAs etc.
Content control - easy to integrate information from external data sources.
Dynamic registration - customers maintain their own user profile.
Easy administration - you administrate your mobile customer base over the Web.
Remote configuration - creates personalized services without complicated manual configuration.
Invoicing/Statistics - integrates with your existing billing system and provides statistics on use.
Scalable/component-based - can handle tens of thousands of users at once.
Future-compliant - prepared for GPRS and future WAP versions.
Nocom will be offering Nocom Mobilectrlä through its channels and strategic partners. In Sweden, Nocom Net will offer a complete range of services based on Nocom Mobilectrlä in connection with WAP Direct. This new ASP service will be launched in August. The international expansion will focus on travel and logistics, where Nocom has specialist skills. Nocom Mobilectrlä will be the platform for the mobile solutions in these areas.
"We have had the benefit of working with companies that wanted to be first with mobile solutions," explains Anders Jonson, Executive Officer at Nocom. "This has given us a unique position for developing Nocom Mobilectrlä. By focusing on specific segments of the market, we can now secure rapid international expansion. Through the acquisition of TradeVision and our contract with Deutche Post we are on to a flying start."
The first release of the platform will be on August 1. Initially, the platform will be offered to selected customers and mobile service providers and be used for projects in travel and logistics.

Nocom signs final agreeement with Cyberink
Nocom AB (publ) has signed a final agreement for the purchase of the Stockholm based internet consulting company Cyberink Information Systems AB, after a normal acquisition analysis. The purchase is for all outstanding shares for a price of aprox. SKr 14 million in the form of 645.000 class B shares of Nocom in a directed new issue.
Cyberink is a specialist company within the field of parallel publishing, primarily for the web and mobile Internet, and its customers are mainly companies in traditional Swedish industry.
"This profile is well in accordance with Nocom`s structure and focus on business-to-business-solutions over the Internet and wireless networks" says Tomas Nygren, CEO of Nocom
Today Nocom, which was one of the first companies in the Nordic area to help its customers develop business services for the Internet, handles comprehensive service and support undertakings for many of the market`s systems for electronic commerce. In addition, Nocom is one of the leading companies in the development and operation of mobile e-business solutions.
"The demand for competitive publishing solutions for the industry is increasing rapidly, as information is often produced and published in different processes, which are usually not connected. With our solutions we bring these processes together, saving both time and money for our customers," says Niclas Sahlgren, President and CEO of Cyberink. "Together with Nocom, we will be a strong provider with complementing areas of expertise, and one of the few Internet consulting companies to master the entire e-business process - from idea to implemented business benefit."

Hey Euro,

Good luck,
Rossi

Hallo,
wollte mal an Nocom erinnern.

Ist WAP eigentlich jetzt out?

nocom und wap ist wirklich out, keiner antwortet
Hey Hoppi,

Strong growth in mobile Internet gives increased number of business transactions
Turnover increased 37 per cent to SEK 105.5 million (76.9).
The number of employees at the end of the period was 198 (96), an increase of 106 per cent.
Nocom`s focus on mobile Internet generated a number of new business transactions and customers.
Nocom launched MobileCtrl, its software platform for mobile Internet, in June.
Nocom`s ASP-implementation for mobile Internet, MobileCtrl ASP, has been taken into use during the period.
Issue of new shares ensures a continuation of rapid expansion
The issue of new shares in February increased the company`s share capital by SEK 230 million.
Mobile focus and expansion burdened earnings
The substantial investments in infrastructure and resources allocated to the development of mobile Internet and other expansion of the organization burdened earnings according to plan.
Operating profit/loss before depreciation was SEK - 17.5 million (4.4).
Profit/loss before tax was SEK - 24.2 million (4.0).
Cash flow from current operations was positive during the period.
Acquisitions generated leading position within e-logistics and supplemented Nocom`s complete offering
In August 2000, Nocom completed the acquisition of 70 per cent of TradeVision AB, a leading international company in integrated e-logistics for the Internet. The acquisition further strengthens Nocom`s position in mobile e-commerce.
Hera AB in Uppsala, a leading agency for industrial market communication with 20 employees, Interactive-TM AB in Gothenburg, a specialist company in imaging and new media with 15 employees, and Cyberink Information Systems AB in Stockholm, an Internet consulting company with 10 employees, were acquired during the first six months of the year.

will die guten stücke wieder mal ins gespräch bringen
