interWAVE Closes Deal With Hutchison Max;

$4 Million Pact to Expand Cellular Network in Mumbai, India

MENLO PARK, Calif., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- interWAVE(R)
Communications International, Ltd. (Nasdaq: IWAV), a pioneer in the wireless
network industry, today announced that Hutchison Max has purchased
interWAVE`s network products in a multi-phase contract valued at
approximately $4 million. Under the agreement, interWAVE will provide its
network products to help expand Hutchison Max`s existing cellular network in
Mumbai, India (formerly Bombay).

Hutchison Max, a joint venture between Hutchison Telecommunications and
Max Group, operates one of India`s largest Global Systems for Mobile
communications (GSM) networks. By purchasing interWAVE`s network
products, Hutchison Max will increase network capabilities to accommodate
its growing subscriber base and offer subscribers a broader array of cellular
services.

"Hutchison Max chose interWAVE`s products because they provided the most
cost-effective local switching package and the ability to configure the network
to meet our subscribers` growing communications needs," said Asim Ghosh,
chief executive officer of Hutchison Max. "Using interWAVE`s plug-and-play
products, we will be able to deploy enhanced wireless services throughout our

Initial installations are scheduled for completion by the end of 2000. Under this
first phase, the system will serve nearly 25,000 subscribers. Plans are in
place to expand the network over time to serve about 100,000 users.

JUL 15, 2000, M2 Communications - Tralee, Ireland -- interWAVE Communications
International, Ltd. (Nasdaq: IWAV), a pioneer in the wireless industry, today
announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100 percent of
the outstanding shares of Microcellular Systems, Ltd., an Irish corporation with
operations in Tralee, Ireland; Bracknell, England; Beijing, China and San Diego.
The Microcellular Systems acquisition comes on the heels of interWAVE`s recent
purchase of assets from Hong Kong-based 3C Limited and underscores the company`s
commitment to developing applications for the corporate wireless market.

The acquisition, which is expected to close in the next 30 days, will be
accounted for as a purchase. interWAVE will pay $5 million in cash and issue
555,556 shares of restricted unregistered common stock in exchange for all of
the outstanding shares of Microcellular Systems. interWAVE has agreed that up to
an additional $2.5 million incentive will be paid upon Microcellular`s
achievement of minimum thresholds of fiscal 2001 revenue.

Once completed, this acquisition will enhance interWAVE`s strategic position to
capitalize upon emerging opportunities in wireless office and the wireless
Internet. Through the acquisition, interWAVE is boosting its global team with
expertise in systems engineering and network planning for deploying corporate

schaut euch mal sqnm an, dort waren seit der lockup-periode auch immer wieder insiderverkäufe und keiner wußte so recht, wann man einsteigen sollte, die fundamentals stimmen und die story auch, jetzt steigen sie, so denke ich wirds bei iwav auch.

habt noch ein bißchen gedult, dann gehts ab ... !

für mich immer noch strong buy, aber jeder muß es selbst wissen.

Das Einzige, was ich finden kann, ist:

Also. IWAV plant die Ankündigung Ihrer Finanzergebnisse für das erste Quartal 2000/2001l. Das Geschäftsjahr endet somit also am 30.Juni. Wenn ich mir die Gewinne pro Aktie ansehe (habe die Grafik am 04.10. gepostet), so scheint das erste Quartal das Schlechteste zu sein. Leider gibt der Aktienchart das nicht wieder, da IWAV erst im Januar 2000 an die Börse ging (ich glaub 28.01.)
Am 26.10.2000 gibt IWAV die 1Q01 in einer Telekonferenz bekannt (Ich war der Meinung, die Zahlen werden am 07.11. bekanntgegeben).

Mensch JediRitter, Du willst doch nicht etwa Deine Papiere für 8Euro in Frankfurt verscherbeln, he? Ist nicht.

30, 2000.

interWAVE`s total revenues were $10.5 million, up 95% from $5.4 million for the same quarter of fiscal 2000 and up 7% sequentially.
Shipments of $2 million to one customer were recorded as an equity investment, rather than revenue, due to the embryonic stage of the
customer`s development as a wireless service provider. First-quarter net loss was $10.3 million, or a loss of $0.22 per weighted
average basic and diluted share, compared with a net loss of $11.5 million, or a loss of $2.10 per weighted average basic and diluted
share, for the same quarter a year earlier. Excluding the period costs associated with the company`s recently completed acquisitions of
3C Limited and Microcellular Systems, Ltd., the first-quarter loss per share was $0.19.

"In the September quarter, we continued to expand our customer base and delivered reasonable growth," said Dr. Priscilla Lu,
chairman and chief executive officer of interWAVE. "Our channel mix shifted substantially toward stronger direct relationships with
network operators--55% of first-quarter revenues came directly from wireless service providers, compared with just 15% the
preceding quarter. Our continued growth was driven primarily by the proliferation of applications in markets where our products offer
unique differentiation and value, including community, university campus, and corporate networks, as well as specialized networks in
vans, ships and military vehicles."

Gross margin for the first quarter was 43%, compared with 26% for the same quarter a year ago and with 42% for the preceding
quarter. The year-over-year improvement resulted from a higher percentage of direct sales to wireless service providers, as well as a
higher-margin product mix and fixed-cost absorption due to higher levels of revenue overall.

Continued growth in the company`s research, development, sales, and marketing organizations led to higher operating expenses for the
first quarter. Excluding amortization of deferred stock compensation, which decreased to $1.3 million from $3.3 million a year ago, and
excluding the one-time costs and the amortization of intangibles associated with recent acquisitions, operating expenses were $14.2
million, compared with $5.7 million for the year-ago quarter and with $9.8 million for the preceding quarter. First-quarter operating
expenses included those associated with the two recently completed acquisitions and a $3.0-million increase in allowance for doubtful
accounts. During the quarter, interWAVE invested $6.7 million in research and development, compared with $3.6 million for the
year-ago quarter and with $5.4 million for the preceding quarter.

At September 30, 2000, cash and short-term investments totaled $114 million, or approximately $2.40 per share, and total
stockholders` equity was $162 million or $3.40 per share.

Hey Jedi, ich bin auch frustriert.
Ich fühl mich echt angeschissen. Genauso wie bei CCGR. Die hab ich auch noch.
Ich lass den Mist einfach weiterlaufen; schaue mir täglich den Chart an und gelegentlich (auch fast täglich) das WO-Board (und weine bitterlich).
Ich hab nur eine Hoffnung: Vielleicht steigen die Dinger und ich komme in die Gewinnzone, und zwar ausserhalb der Spekufrist.

Investitionen (6,7Mio$) waren weitaus höher als 99 (3,6Mio$). Alle Ausgaben zusammen lagen bei 16,6Mio$ gegenüber 8,9Mio$ im Vorjahr.

Insgesamte Investionen belaufen sich bisher auf 114Mio$ (2,40$/aktie).

penthouse, wenn du noch drin bist: die meisten gewinne macht man dadurch, daß man verluste beschränkt.... . (leider wahr)
aber bei ccgr warte ich einfach, schau auch nicht auf den kurs ! irgendwann machts peng, bin da zu durchschnittlich 29 cent drin... .

es gibt noch andere gute aktien, schau mal auf spatializer, sequenom oder yline, da hab ich jetzt erstmal angelegt.

Turnaround bei IWAV?

Heute wieder +15% an der Nasdaq ...

Werde erste Position aufbauen, beobachten und ggf. nachkaufen.
Auf diesem Niveau sind IWAV-Aktien vermutlich ein "Schnäppchen"
- auch wenn es bis zu "alten" Höchstkursen dauern wird.

In Beijing, China, soll in der U-Bahn die Technik von Interwave eingesetzt werden, zusammen mit dem lokalen Partner Chuang Ju.

Na ja, wieder mal eines der vielen Projekte, an dem Interwave bastelt.
Denken wir doch an das 15Mill.$ Abkommen mit Blue Sky Communikation...usw.

Mir ist es auch lieber, wenn der Kurs steigt; schliesslich habe ich einen Durchschnittspreis von ca. 12 Euro/Aktie; aber ich verbillige gerade andere Werte und meine Reserven sind auch eingeschränkt.

Meine Meinung zum Kurs von INTERWAVE:

Schaut Euch doch mal den Chart der Nasdaq:

Es lässt sich doch beinahe sagen, steigt die NAS, steigt auch IWAV. Das trifft doch für die meisten Werte zu.

Die Zahlen waren ja nicht so doll:
Gewinn je Aktie: -0,22 statt erwarteter - 0,12 Cents Aktie.

Ich bin ja immer noch investiert, und überlege mir, ob ich heute noch nachkaufe. Vielleicht verdoppelt sich der Kurs bis Jahresende.
Dann hätten wir wieder das Niveau von Anfang September von der NAS und von IWAV.
NAS ca. 4000 Pkt.
IWAV ca. 11$ (Da wurde aber erwartet, das IWAV die Erwartungen erfüllt/übertrifft!)

Schön wärs. Abwarten.

IWAV geht auch heute an der Nasdaq wieder weiter nach oben.

Die "Korrektur" nach der Enttäuschung über die Zahlen (s.o.) fiel
zeitlich mit einer Panikphase zusammen - und war deshalb völlig übertrieben.

Gleiches gilt meiner Meinung nach für Repeater (WKN: 937119).
