ETFs & Indexfonds (z.
Heute bei 293 US$.
(MT Newswires) -- FTAI Aviation (FTAI) was Smart Insider's stock pick of the week after the company's Chief Operating Officer David Moreno acquired $1 million worth of company shares for $153.76 apiece on Nov. 13.
This was Moreno's second reported stock buy as his first buy was in May at $95 per share for a total of $624,000, Smart Insider said in a Tuesday note.
Chair and Chief Executive Joseph Adams Jr. also bought $312,000 worth of company shares at $155.91 apiece on the same date, according to the note.
The CEO has a "great record" purchasing the shares as he has a 28% average six month return based on his previous six buys, the note said.
Smart Insider said that it is "interesting" to see Moreno and Adams buying shares again at "much higher" prices than before.
Smart Insider renewed the stock +1, or strong positive signal, on Nov. 14

-Core mission: FTAI aims to be the largest aftermarket power provider for CFM56 & V2500 engines, offering full-service solutions (sales, exchange, lease).
-Market share growth: Expanded from ~5% to 9% of the $22B annual overhaul market; long-term goal is 25%.
-Module Factory model: Swapping engine modules (fan, LPT, core) avoids costly shop visits; customer adoption driven by word of mouth and case studies (e.g., Lion Air).
-Facilities ramping: Montreal, Rome, Miami combined capacity ~1,800 modules/year; targeting ~750 in 2024 and ~1,000 in 2025.
-Margins expanding: From ~35% initially to potential 50% through vertical integration (owning assets + shops), green-time optimization, and PMA parts strategy.
-PMA parts: First 2 approved; the 3rd (hot section turbine blade) expected soon, representing ~60% of $2M+ potential savings per shop visit.
-V2500 opportunity: Pratt & Whitney partnership expands capacity as operators extend fleet life post-GTF issues; margins slightly lower but strategically valuable.
-SCI partnership: Targeting 250 aircraft in 2024 (145 committed by July); SCI generates stable revenue streams while making FTAI more asset-light.
-Financials: 2025 FCF guidance raised to $750M; EBITDA per module rising ($500k → $800k); margins targeted at 40%+ by 2026.
-Growth drivers: Scaling production, PMA adoption, repair acquisitions (e.g., Pacific Aerodynamic), and further SCI iterations to reinforce long-term moat.

FTAI Aviation SCI Revenue Seen as Core, Not Lower Quality, Deutsche Bank Says

(MT Newswires) -- FTAI Aviation's (FTAI) revenue from the Strategic Capital Initiative, or SCI, should be considered part of the company's core Aerospace Products business and not lower quality, Deutsche Bank Research said in a note Friday.
Shares of FTAI fell about 19% on Thursday despite the company reporting solid results and reaffirming its guidance. The broader market rose roughly 1% the same day. The sell-off appears tied to concerns around the quality of revenue in the Aerospace Products segment.
Deutsche Bank said about $100 million, or 27%, of that segment's revenue came from sales of engine modules to the SCI partnership, which some investors view as less valuable than revenue from third-party customers. Over the past six months, FTAI has been positioning aircraft assets for SCI, including those acquired through sale-leaseback deals that required immediate engine overhauls.
While some investors have raised concerns about slower growth outside SCI, Deutsche Bank noted that SCI has been a clearly communicated part of FTAI's long-term strategy.
"We were surprised to see the stock down about 19% for executing a long-term strategy that it has been communicating to the market for the past four months," the analysts said. FTAI is the sole engine maintenance provider for SCI and is fulfilling its contractual role by supplying modules for the fleet.
Deutsche Bank maintained its buy rating with a price target of $150 per share on the stock.

Pressemeldung FTAI:
Financing to be Used to Fund Acquisitions of On-Lease 737NG and A320ceo Aircraft
NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FTAI Aviation Ltd. (NASDAQ: FTAI) (“FTAI” or the “Company”) today announced its Strategic Capital Initiative (“SCI”) has obtained a commitment for $2.5 billion of asset-level debt financing led by global investment firm ATLAS SP Partners (“ATLAS SP”), the structured products business majority owned by Apollo funds, and Deutsche Bank AG, New York Branch. FTAI believes this debt financing will provide the SCI the ability to deploy $4.0+ billion of total capital into on-lease 737NG and A320ceo aircraft while allowing FTAI to maintain an asset-light business model. All engines owned by the SCI will be powered exclusively via engine and module exchanges with FTAI’s Maintenance, Repair and Exchange (“MRE”) business.
“We are thrilled that our Strategic Capital Initiative has secured this financing commitment,” said Joseph P. Adams, CEO and Chairman of FTAI. “We believe this will allow the SCI to be one of the largest investors focused on mid-life, on-lease aircraft and we are grateful for the support of SCI capital partners and lenders, whose confidence in our business affirms and amplifies our strong momentum.”
Mr. Adams continued, “This is an exciting time for FTAI as our MRE offering continues to penetrate the market and transform the way asset owners think about engine maintenance. With a $22 billion total addressable market and only 5% market share today*, we believe we are in the early innings of growth for our Aerospace Products business. We are also grateful for our growing customer base, and we look forward to driving cost and time savings for more asset owners with our differentiated Maintenance, Repair and Exchange services.”
John Zito, Co-President of Apollo Asset Management said, “We are excited for ATLAS SP to support FTAI’s Strategic Capital Initiative in its inaugural asset-level debt financing. We believe this financing provides ATLAS SP clients with compelling, risk-adjusted returns, and demonstrates our continued leadership in leading inaugural issuances and financings for our clients. We are pleased to be partnering with the FTAI Strategic Capital Initiative team and their differentiated platform.”
Carey Lathrop, CEO of ATLAS SP continued, “We are honored to have served as structuring agent and lead arranger and to have been able to commit $2 billion directly in support of FTAI’s Strategic Capital Initiative. With global travel at record highs, the tailwinds for the aircraft finance industry are robust, and we look forward to building our relationship with FTAI through future bespoke financings. FTAI’s newly launched Strategic Capital Initiative combined with its innovative approach to aircraft engine maintenance services will lead to numerous ways to partner in the future.”
The financing commitment is subject to certain customary conditions.
* $22 billion total addressable market based on total maintenance dollars spent industrywide in 2024 on CFM56-5B/7B and V2500 engines, and FTAI’s 5% of market share is based on total revenue from Aerospace Products in 2024.
