Wenn PCCW sich um den gesamten Markt herumstemmt,hohe Umsätze hat in Hongkong und steigt,sollte man sich mal wieder Gedanken um die Aktie machen.
Läuft sie morgen auch noch gegen Trend/Möglicherweise Hangseng unter 14000 bei den >Vorgaben,dann kaufen!

Du webbie,schau mal im honkong.com Thread nach dem rechten,da sind doch die total seriösen zuhause,die kriegen in der früh einen Anfall,wenn du nicht aufpaßt schaut die Kiste bald echt alt aus.

PCCW <1186.HK> sees MSCI inclusion
helping merger

HONG KONG, May 18 (Reuters) - Pacific Century
CyberWorks Ltd (PCCW) deputy chairman Francis
Yuen said on Thursday that the addition of PCCW to
the MSCI Hong Kong Index would help the company`s
merger bid for Cable & Wireless HKT <0008.HK>.

"I think it will be a great help (to the merger)," Yuan told a news briefing.

PCCW shares rose HK$0.75 or 5.23 percent to close at HK$15.10 after hitting a day high of
HK$15.55.

Index Services Morgan Stanley Capital International said on Thursday it would add PCCW to
MSCI`s Hong Kong index at 50 percent of market capitalization due to its free float of
between 25 and 30 percent.

Yuen said PCCW was a relatively young company and the inclusion of the company`s share
into the MSCI Index would boost its profile with fund managers.

"Fund managers would recognise the fact that if you base on today`s trading, it looked like
that it was the PCCW shares sort of taking the C&W HKT share price up," Yuen said.
C&W HKT shares recovered from a day low of HK$17.80 to close at HK$18.40, down
HK$0.15 or 0.82 percent, outperforming the overall weak market.

The Hang Seng Index <.HSI> tumbled 3.41 percent or 505.21 points to finish at 14,322.6,
mainly on selling of a blue chip dropped from the index, and on interest rate fears. But Yuen
did not agree with MSCI`s comment on the free float of PCCW. "When the MSCI studied
our company, it used relatively old records that showed our major shareholder still had 60 to
70 percent of the company," he said. "I believe after MSCI receives more updated
information about our shareholding, it will make some adjustment to reflect the float to the
public had increased to about 50 percent from 30 percent," Yuen said. PCCW is controlled
by Hong Kong entrepreneur Richard Li`s Pacific Century Regional Developments Ltd .

Yuen said PCCW had submitted the merger documents to the court for setting a meeting
date for shareholders.

"I think during this period we would not be able to entertain any major discussion as far as
PCCW or C&W HKT`s future is concern," he said. Speculation has swirled in recent weeks
that thwarted suitor Singapore Telecommunications Ltd was ready to mount a fresh bid for
C&W HKT, possibly with a Chinese partner.

Yuen said he did not expect any material changes before the posting of the merger
documents, probably by the end of this month.

PCCW jetzt unbedingt nachkaufen. Sollte die Aktie wirklich in den MSCI Hong Kong Index aufgenommen werden, dann wird PCCW für manche Fonds erst richtig interessant. Nachdem nun auch der Vertrag von PCCW
mit C&W dem Gericht vorgelegt wurde, wird die Übernahme von C&W nun bald erfolgen. Dadurch wird sich der Kurs der Aktie (entgegen dem Hangseng) nach oben bewegen.

PCCW fast 6 % im Plus; Kursziel von Lehman Brothers: 35 $

Lehman Brothers empfiehlt seinen Anlegern die Aktie von PCCW zu kaufen. Die Aufnahme in den MSCI Index sollte einen positiven Effekt auf die Aktie haben. Die Analysten gaben ein Kursziel von 35 HK-$ für das Papier aus. Das Papier konnte heute zum Schluß noch deutlich zulegen und notiert momentan kurz vor Schluß fast 6 % höher bei 15,15 HK-$.

Lobster hat die MSCI China Liste gepostet und nicht die MSCI HK Liste.
In der HK-Liste ist wird PCCW vertreten sein.
