Hallo zusammen

ab sofort ist die neue Adelong-Beteiligung Smartnews online. Über www.smartnews.com.au kann man sich ein Bild vom Unternehmen machen. Mein erster Eindruck: Sieht gut aus mit einigen Features; zudem hat Smart News schon einiges an Werbung an Land gezogen. Hier ein kurzer Text zum Unternehmen selbst:

Hi Added Value,

ich muß zugeben, daß ich deinen Eindruck teile.

Das Design der Seite selbst gefällt mir zwar weniger, aber so etwas ist
bekanntlich eine Sache des Geschmacks. Außerdem ist ja nicht auszuschließen,
daß bei entsprechenden Anregungen von Seiten zukünftiger Smart-News Nutzer
das Design noch etwas überarbeitet wird.

Viel wichtiger ist natürlich das Angebot.
Und das kann sich meinem ersten Eindruck nach durchaus
mit den anderen großen australischen Finanzseiten messen.

Ich kann jedem Interessierten nur empfehlen, eine Registrierung vorzunehmen und das
Angebot mal vollständig durchzuschauen. Mir gefällt es in jedem Fall, auch wenn einige
Sektionen wohl Phasenweise noch offline sind.

Eine Frage noch an Added Value :

Es scheint, daß das Angebot von SmartNews vollständig werbefinanziert ist.
Kannst Du das bestätigen ???

Denn wenn man sich die Entwicklung solcher Geschäftsmodelle anschaut, frage ich mich,
ob sich das langfristig durchsetzen wird. Ein frühes negatives Beispiel am Neuen Markt ist
ja Fortune-City, auch der Kursverlauf von Web.de kann einen sehr beunruhigen.
GMX hat da kurz vor Beginn der Zeichnungsfrist richtigerweise die Notbremse gezogen.

Aber bis Adelong SmartNews an die Börse bringt wird ohnehin noch eine Menge Zeit ins
Land gehen, die Seite ist noch sehr jung und hat meiner Meinung nach durchaus eine Menge
Potential, auch wenn die Konkurrenz groß ist.

Ich selbst löse mich jetzt erst mal von Stockhouse, Quicken und
Investorweb und werde das Angebot von SmartNews intensiv durchforsten.

Zum Design :
Das ist bei WO doch eigentlich auch ziemlich schei.. ,
aber trotzdem ist es eine der besten Seiten, die wir auf heimischen Boden haben.
