      Hallo,

      so günstige Kurse werden wir bei Microstrategy (MSTR-914853) nie wieder sehen.

      Aus sicherer Quelle habe ich erfahren, dass MSTR kurz vor der Aufnahme in mehrere Musterdepots
      deutscher Anlegermagazine steht!!!
      Da der Wert über aussichtsreiche Software - Innovationen verfügt, und die Probleme mit der
      US- Amerikanischen Börsenaufsicht behoben zu sein scheinen, bietet sich hier eine hervorragende Einstiegsmöglichkeit.

      Also nichts wie rein! Über die Resultate werden wir uns in zwei Wochen wieder unterhalten....

      Zur Zeit wird MSTR jedenfalls noch billiger und ich glaube auch, daß sich daran so schnell nichts ändern wird.... 20 $ sind möglich, wird mich jedoch auch freuen wenns anders rum abgeht, zumal MSTR nun schon seit einiger Zeit fällt.

      Hallo fara, bin noch nicht ganz so überzeugt wie Du, was die Sache mit den Musterdepots in D angeht. Das wird dem Kurs in USA überhaupt nicht helfen, der Markt ist dort und nicht bei uns. Dennoch glaube ich aber auch, dass wir das schlimmste hinter uns haben. Da die Gesellschaft diese Woche Cash bekommen hat, sind wohl auch die Liquiditätsschwierigkeiten vorerst beseitigt. Wollen wir hoffen, dass es irgendwann wieder in alte Höhen geht, ich selbst haben nämlich den Absturz von 333 auf 18 $ mitgemacht. Wir sprechen uns wieder...

      Das bringt dem Kurs so viel, wie wenn in Amerika ein Hamburger auf die Straße fällt.
      Der Kurs wird einzig und allein in den USA gemacht.

      MicroStrategy Names New Chief Financial Officer, Appoints New Vice President of Corporate Development, and Names Acting Director of Internal Audit and Financial Controls

      VIENNA, Va., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroStrategy(R) Incorporated (Nasdaq: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of Intelligent E-Business(TM) software, today announced that it has strengthened its management team. Effective immediately, Eric Brown, an executive with over ten years experience in senior financial management roles at companies including Electronic Arts, DataSage and Haagen-Dazs, will assume the role of Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for MicroStrategy. Mark Lynch, MicroStrategy`s Chief Financial Officer since 1997, will assume the new position of Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Eric Driscoll, a senior executive in MicroStrategy`s consulting division, has assumed the position of Vice President, Corporate Development.

      In addition, MicroStrategy has retained the services of Timothy C. Clayton, an executive with 25 years of experience in accounting and finance at companies including Building One Services and Price Waterhouse, to assist in the enhancement of its internal control systems and to lead the development of an Internal Audit function. Mr. Clayton will serve as acting Director of Internal Audit and Financial Controls.

      Eric Brown, currently the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Strategy.com, will assume the position of Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for MicroStrategy. Mr. Brown joined Strategy.com in February 2000 after serving as a vice president and division chief operating officer at Electronic Arts (EA), the world`s largest interactive entertainment software company with revenues of $1.2 billion in fiscal year 1999. Mr. Brown was involved in major external development projects, new product funding, league licenses, and studio acquisitions at EA`s headquarters. Prior to working at EA, Mr. Brown served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development at DataSage, Inc., an Internet target marketing and content personalization software company that he co- founded. Mr. Brown also worked at Pillsbury where he held the position of Finance Director for Haagen-Dazs France/Benelux and Pillsbury France. Prior to that assignment, he opened the Haagen-Dazs Far East regional office in Hong Kong, and established joint ventures in Taiwan and South Korea. Mr. Brown holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Brown will report to CEO Michael Saylor.
      Mark Lynch, MicroStrategy`s Chief Financial Officer, will assume the new position of Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Lynch joined the company in September 1997 and helped lead the company`s successful IPO in June 1998, its secondary offering in February 1999, and its private equity financing in June 2000. In his new position, Mr. Lynch will be focused upon improving the overall performance of the company`s various global business units. In addition, Mr. Lynch will head up the company`s Administration, Information Systems, and Real Estate functions. Prior to joining MicroStrategy, Mr. Lynch served as CFO for WorldCorp and World Airways. Prior to World Airways, Mr. Lynch served as the Vice President of Finance for InteliData. Mr. Lynch holds an MBA from George Washington University and a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University. Mr. Lynch will report to CEO Michael Saylor.
      Timothy C. Clayton has been retained as a consultant to serve as acting Director of Internal Audit and Financial Controls. Mr. Clayton will assist the company in the enhancement of its internal controls and procedures in the areas of revenue recognition and financial reporting systems. Mr. Clayton will also lead the company`s development of an Internal Audit function. Mr. Clayton has 25 years of experience in accounting and finance serving most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Building One Services. Previously Mr. Clayton worked with Price Waterhouse for 21 years, with 9 years experience as an audit partner where his clients included a number of software industry companies and other rapidly growing businesses. Mr. Driscoll joined MicroStrategy in 1997 as the consulting manager for the East Region. In 1998 he was promoted to Director, North American Consulting. In this role he supervised turnaround operations in the Central and West Regions.       Fara, begründe warum ? Es ist wohl keine Kunst auf einen Wert hinzuweisen, der in den letzten Wochen immer nur gefallen ist.
      Irgendwann kommt eine technische Gegenreaktion vom Markt. Das war vor einem Monat auch schon so und seither gings bergab. Es Zocken zuviele Leute mit dieser Aktie. Knapp 200% in ca.2 Wochen damals und nun wieder das alte Tief ! Ich denke zwar auch, daß es mit dem Kurs wieder nach oben geht, aber zuerst muss MSTR das Vertrauen der Anleger zurückgewinnen und durch gute Quartalsergebnisse überzeugen.

      Es kann schon sein, daß MSTR in den nächsten Wochen noch ein bißchen hoch- und runterwackelt. Ich rechne aber im 3. Quartal, spätestens im 4. Quartal mit besseren Zahlen, da die sog. Umsätze teilweise aus 97, 98 und 99 je nach Projektstatus in die Zukunft geschoben werden mußten, d.h. die haben Aufträge in die Bilanz genommen und nicht Umsätze. Wenn es sich nicht um Dummy-Auträge handelt, müssen die nächsten Quartalszahlen wesentlich besser sein.

      Hallo Leute,

      es scheint mir gerade verwunderlich, wie manche Leute auf anderen Boardteilnehmern herumhacken.

      Wenn ich sage ich habe Informationen aus sicherer Quelle, dann habe ich die auch. Der Kurs ist sicherlich nicht wegen der
      Aufnahme in Deutsche Musterdepots angesprungen, sondern wegen dem Deal mit IBM um welchen es schon lange Gerüchte gibt.

      In der Zeit in der sich manche Leute also über mein Posting aufgeregt haben, habe ich viel Geld verdient!
      Natürlich habe ich einige Male verbilligen müssen aber unterm Strich sind immerhin knapp DM 25.000,-- vor Steuern
      hängengeblieben.

      Also regt Euch lieber weiter über irgendwelche Postings auf und seht zu wie die Kurse an Euch vorbeilaufen.

      ich finde es wirklich toll, dass auch Du über Informationen aus erster Quelle verfügst.

      Auch ich bin in der glücklichen Lage über solch einen Informanten zu verfügen.

      Wir beide wissen wie schwierig es ist über die erhaltenen Informationen zu Berichten obwohl es einen in den Fingern juckt und am liebsten würde man die ganze Welt daran teilhaben lassen. – Geht leider nicht, denn ansonsten würde keine Quelle mehr sprudeln.

      Ich bin erst seit ein paar Wochen mit dabei und hab mir mein Investment lange überlegt, bis mich mein Quellwasser total überzeugt hat. Ich weiß leider nicht, ob die Story in der Geschwindigkeit abläuft wie hier oftmals Berichtet wird, aber langfristig muss man dabei sein.

      Noch eins Fara: „ Lass bitte jegliche Angaben über Gewinne oder Verluste“.

      Ich empfinde solche Details als sehr sehr peinlich und es wirkt aüßerst unseriös!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Deine Aussage keine Angaben über Gewinne oder Verluste zu machen finde ich durchaus richtig. Solche Aussagen mache
      ich gewöhnlich auch nicht. Wenn Du Dir aber den Thread mal komplett anschaust, dann wirst Du sehen was mich dazu bewogen hat.

      Es gibt nämlich ziemlich viele Personen hier die sich Gedanken machen wie Sie einzelne Aussagen eines Postings
      zerpflücken können und dieses als unseriös hinstellen. Die Wut hat mich dazu gezwungen meine Gewinnaussage zu publizieren
      um denen zu zeigen was sie eigentlich für eine sch.... produzieren!

      Microstrategy entlässt zehn Prozent seiner Mitarbeiter

      MÜNCHEN (COMPUTERWOCHE) - Der Business-Intelligence-Spezialist Microstrategy, der unlängst wegen betrügerischer Bilanzmanipulation in die Schlagzeilen geraten war (CW Infonet berichtete), hat umfangreiche Umstrukturierungspläne bekannt gegeben. Die durch heftige Kursverluste gebeutelte US-Company will zehn Prozent oder 234 Mitarbeiter entlassen. Für die Neuordnung des Konzerns rechnet Microstrategy im dritten Quartal mit Sonderbelastungen von vier bis acht Millionen Dollar. Zudem will die in Herndon, Virginia, ansässige Firma ihr Geschäft dezentralisieren. Weitere Abhilfe verspricht sich Microstrategy von verstärkten Vertriebsaktivitäten im Internet.
      "Dies ist wahrscheinlich die schwierigste Entscheidung in meiner Karriere als Geschäftsmann," kommentierte Chief Executive Officer Michael Saylor die Maßnahmen. Der Firmenchef, der mit der Ausrichtung extravaganter Partys für seine Mitarbeiter von sich reden machte, kündigte ferner an, die firmenweite Winterreise in die Karibik sowie das gemeinsame Familienwochenende für seine Beschäftigten künftig aus dem Programm zu streichen.
