Alex Kanakaris, Former Secretary of State Alexander Haig, and Vinton Cerf, Co-Founder of the Internet, Discuss the Future of Kanakaris Wireless
Strategic Positioning, New Technology, and Extraordinary Revenue Generating Efforts are Detailed in Worldwide Forum
LOS ANGELES, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- According to Vinton Cerf, the co-founder of the Internet and senior vice president for Data Architecture at MCI WorldCom, there are significant challenges to Internet and wireless multimedia delivery. But he recognized that not all companies are created equal, and that Kanakaris Wireless (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS - news) is a true industry leader.

Cerf`s comments came during a recent broadcast of World Business Review, a global business news television show hosted by former Secretary of State Alexander Haig that reaches 65 million viewers. The panel featured Alex Kanakaris, CEO and President of Kanakaris Wireless, and provided an opportunity for the three leaders to talk about the future of content delivery and the viability of the industry as a real money-maker.

``(The delivery of multimedia) is a very viable business but there are significant barriers to overcome, some of them are technical, especially having to do with the delivery of streaming video at reasonable speeds and quality of sound,`` Cerf said. ``What Kanakaris Wireless has done is find a way over those barriers, to jump over those barriers.``

Kanakaris has leapt over barriers that trap other companies because it has created the most substantial network of land-based and wireless distribution servers, and has obtained the rights over a significant number of books and full-length movies, in both English and Spanish. In fact, during 1995 Kanakaris was the first company to deliver a full-length streaming movie over the Internet.

Based on the World Business Review broadcast, Kanakaris hasn`t looked back since, especially with the advent of its new WEAR(TM) technology, a revolutionary approach to delivering sensory-rich original multimedia content that can be viewed on a user`s television, PC, or handheld devices such as a Pocket PC.

``I think the thing that differentiates us is that we`re the only company in the world that is offering music, full-length movies, and books for direct delivery over the Internet,`` Kanakaris said on World Business Review. ``And now we`re taking it to the next level with WEAR, which delivers original multimedia content that can be watched and listened to literally anywhere.``

The broadcast also featured Kanakaris` innovative approach to wireless content delivery, using state of the art technology and strategic partnerships to ultimately reach every potential Internet user in the world. By using scalable broadband technology, which provides excellent quality sound and video for all users, regardless of their connection speed, Kanakaris has maximized his company`s market potential and exposure.

:)According to Kanakaris, there currently are more than 560,000 wireless Internet users in the United States. By 2003, that number will reach more than 73 million, based on a recent report in Business Week. Because Kanakaris had the vision and foresight to anticipate this overwhelming market, his company not only dominates the market in its current state, it is ready to maintain the lead as the world finally realizes the market potential that Alex Kanakaris knew existed for years.:)

:)In fact, Kanakaris currently is in Europe establishing a new division that will not only provide content to users throughout that continent, it also will establish new financial and business relationships and recruit new original content from all over the world.:)

Vinton Cerf said that he believed the Kanakaris network of online books, movies, and music is a successful e-commerce model. He also was intrigued about how Kanakaris generates revenue.

Kanakaris stated that his multimedia web sites, CinemaPop.com, WordPop.com, and CineMania.com receive more than 18 million hits a day from visitors hailing from 106 countries. By reaching such a large market, Kanakaris has created an incredible online advertising revenue platform that is highly sought after by many leading companies. Kanakaris also stated that his monthly subscription and pay-per-view system is extremely profitable, and will continue to grow with the increased exposure of WEAR, as well as the development of new original content.

Cerf agreed with Kanakaris` focus and strategy. ``People will be entertaining themselves in many more places than they ever could before,`` Cerf said. ``Entertainment anywhere, and that sounds like the name of the game.``

The Hollywood Reporter Highlights Kanakaris Wireless` Online Entertainment Vision, Strategy
Kanakaris Basks in the Spotlight as it Maintains Dominant Market Leadership In Online Book, Music, and Full-Length Motion Picture Delivery
LOS ANGELES, July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- More than any other publication, The Hollywood Reporter knows how to spot the most elite entertainment companies. So when the world-famous publication examined the best in online multimedia delivery, one name rose to the top of the list and demanded attention: Kanakaris Wireless (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS - news), the world`s leader in multiple bandwidth delivery of books, music and full-length motion pictures through the Internet.

Boasting more than 18 million hits per month to its web sites at CinemaPop.com, WordPop.com and Cinemania.com by viewers hailing from more than 106 countries, Kanakaris was the logical choice to stand in the spotlight during the June 27 special edition on page N-15. The Hollywood Reporter readers are composed of the ``most important, trend-setting executives, celebrities and professionals throughout the entertainment industry,`` with more than 72 percent of its subscribers holding executive-level or higher positions.

The Hollywood Reporter reviewed Kanakaris` CinemaPop.com?the world`s most innovative and compelling full-length motion picture, classic television show, and original content delivery station?and stated that, ``While other (online streaming media companies) are focusing on short films and nonprofessional productions, Alex Kanakaris` CinemaPop has jumped ahead and licensed more than 300 features and classic TV shows`` for viewers to enjoy.

Kanakaris has maintained its overwhelming market dominance, as well as its position as an extraordinary revenue-generator, because of the long-term vision and strategy of CEO and President Alex Kanakaris. Since delivering the world`s first full-length streaming motion picture in 1995, Alex Kanakaris hasn`t looked back while creating the most extensive and reliable multimedia delivery network.

``We have succeeded because of our strategic focus, and will continue to create exceptional value for our shareholders and strategic partners,`` Kanakaris said. ``We realized this opportunity long before anyone understood the market`s potential. When you consider the reaction speed a company must have to succeed on the Internet, Kanakaris Wireless` head start places us in a commanding position to generate both continued global exposure and significant revenues.``

While The Hollywood Reporter focused on why CinemaPop and the excellent Spanish content on Cinemania.com result in a combined industry benchmark, it should be noted that Kanakaris Wireless also has successfully diversified its entire product line in addition to those sites.

For example, Kanakaris recently shocked the online world with the inception of WEAR(TM), which stands for Wireless Entertainment Asynchronous Remotely. WEAR allows users to download original and sensory rich multimedia content to view on their televisions, PCs and Pocket PC®s, and stands to create a significant amount of advertising, pay-per-view and subscription revenue for the company, not to mention value-added benefits for shareholders, according to Mr. Kanakaris.

The Hollywood Reporter`s acclaim for the Kanakaris vision surfaced only weeks after the World Business Review -- a business television show that features the world`s most influential companies to a viewer base of more than 65 million-discussed the company`s innovation and leadership.

      Kritische Anmerkungen:

Was ist aus der Verbindung mit syconet geworden (pokeman)?
      Was ist aus streetpop geworden?
      etc..

Kanakaris Wireless to Diversify, Expand Online Presence With Wear(TM) Enabled Music Delivery Site
Newest Member of the Kanakaris Internet Portfolio to Benefit Music Industry, Attract Customers and Potentially Double Current Company Site Traffic
LOS ANGELES, July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kanakaris Wireless (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS - news), the world`s leader in multiple bandwidth, full-length motion picture and book delivery, today announced that it will launch a WEAR(TM)-enabled music and music video web site to complement its existing online entertainment portfolio by the fiscal quarter ending in September.

Currently, Kanakaris Wireless -- through its CinemaPop.com and CinemaniaNetwork.com motion picture portals -- receives 18 million hits per month from 106 countries, a number which will be positively affected with the upcoming launch of the company`s electronic book delivery channel, WordPop.com.

According to Alex Kanakaris, Chief Executive and President, the new music site could potentially double existing traffic levels because of market timing, strategic partnerships and link sharing agreements. The site`s name, address and key partners will be released during the official launch.

The music site will feature MP3 files and streaming video -- both of which are compatible with the Windows® Media Player -- from both independent and unsigned talent, as well as established performers. In addition to songs and music videos, Kanakaris Wireless also will feature commentaries by, and interviews with, artists and industry experts.

According to Mr. Kanakaris, the interactive music site is a logical extension of his existing online entertainment delivery portfolio because of the company`s long-standing relationship with the music business, as well as the current execution of timely growth-oriented strategies.

``We are absolutely committed to providing both excellent content and the most stable and accessible delivery network so everyone, regardless of their connection speed, can enjoy our sites,`` Kanakaris said. ``The timing of the music site launch could not be better, as we are expanding our presence globally with a European division and continuing to refine our business goals through effective marketing, demographic studies and strategic alliances.``

In the early 1990s, Kanakaris produced L.A. Pop, a publication that covered the Southern California music scene. As a result, his company has an intimate understanding of both the industry dynamics and needs of musicians. Mr. Kanakaris said that consumers, musicians and record companies all will benefit from his company`s latest offering.

As part of Kanakaris` strategy to deliver multimedia entertainment to anyone, anywhere, the music site will feature the company`s innovative WEAR technology, which stands for Wireless Entertainment Asynchronous Remotely. Through WEAR, Kanakaris customers can download sensory-rich multimedia files into Pocket PCs and enjoy content while on the road, which addresses a rapidly-growing market demand. To assist musicians and their representatives with uploading files for WEAR delivery, Kanakaris will provide a dedicated site to streamline the process.

Because of the music site`s potential to greatly increase site traffic among the existing Kanakaris portfolio offerings, the company expects to continue expanding its existing revenue base with additional user subscriptions, pay-per-view customers, and banner advertising.

Inspired by the Walkman(R) Phenomenon, Kanakaris Designs New Vision For Entertainment Delivery in the `00s
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Kanakaris Wireless (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS - news) today announced the formation of the WEAR(TM) Society and free membership access from its web hub, www.KKRS.Net and www.CinemaPop.com. Members, both corporate and individual, will be kept apprised of the worldwide rollout of new and potentially huge audience formats for content containing music, movie and book features.

WEAR(TM) (Wireless Entertainment Asynchronous Remotely) was created by Alex Kanakaris as a way to leap over bandwidth hurdles and provide portable Hollywood style entertainment to the fastly emerging worldwide wireless Internet audience. Mr. Kanakaris has envisioned both creative and technological parameters for WEAR(TM) content which will now be shared on an on-going basis with all of those who sign up to become members of the WEAR Society.

Kanakaris Wireless has taken its unique concept, with live on-the-Net visual presentations, to formal demonstrations in several Nordic and European countries and has been bolstered by the strong, positive response from Internet users, Internet companies, stock and financial institutions and the press in these regions.

``Where the Internet and wireless connectivity is headed can be found where workers and students reside in the Nordic countries and Europe and we have taken Hollywood content and our technological vision to where the future begins,`` stated CEO Alex Kanakaris. ``When we started delivering movies and books securely over the Internet in the U.S. we had skeptics who have been converted to fans. Alex Kanakaris is now creating a way to take music, movie and book content and deliver it into all sorts of portable tools including PocketPCs®, Palm Pilots® and other handheld computing devices,`` said Branch Lotspeich, Vice Chairman of Kanakaris Wireless and designer of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center`s computer command center.

Everyone who watches movies or reads books on the Kanakaris web sites is welcome to join the WEAR(TM) Society for free. Corporations involved in third millennium technology, and their employees, are also encouraged to join.

An application will appear at www.CinemaPop.com this week and, in the interim, emails may be sent to alexk@kanakaris.com along with a brief introduction and email address.

The purpose of the WEAR Society is to disseminate information about technology and content pertaining to wireless Internet delivery and to help foster its acceptance as well as to usher in technological standards. The WEAR Society will also help harness the creation of new content taking advantage of the wireless Internet age. An annual symposium open to all members will be established.

Kanakaris Wireless anticipates members in all countries it has recently presented its Internet vision to, including Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, Switzerland and England. CEO Alex Kanakaris is currently embarked on a business and press relations campaign in each of these countries, concurrent with exploring infrastructure opportunities in each.

The first broadcast will air on July 25 and continue for more than one week, reaching key international markets and more than 100 U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. :) The airings coincide with the launch of the next generation of Kanakaris web sites, including CinemaPop.com on August 1st, WordPop.com in August and CyberPop.com this fall. :)
