Hallo PCNTFler,

leider ist bei der bisherigen Kursentwicklung zu
befürchten, daß die 15$-Marke fällt.
Dann ist der freie Fall ins Bodenlose möglich!!!

Was meinen die Charttechniker dazu?

Ich bitte um Antworten und Meinungen.

An alle Leidensgenossen,

obwohl ich sehr stark in Pacific Internet investiert bin, hab ich in verschiedenen Threads nach Durchbrechen der 20 Dollar Marke die Befürchtung geäußert, daß wir anstelle der W- Formation ein Dopppeltief bei 15 Dollar bilden.
Diese Formation ist gestern eingetroffen und auf dem jetzigen Niveau ist Pacific Inetrnet stark überverkauft.
Ein nachhaltiges Unterschreiten dieser Marke halte ich nur bei hypernegativen News, die uns bis jetzt verschwiegen wurden, für möglich.
Ich sehe eine 90:10 Chance, daß wir bei P.I. am Freitag, bzw am Montag die historischen Tiefstkurse gesehen haben, bzw. sehen werden und werde am Montag zur Eröffnung der Wallstreeet nochmals direkt in Amerika nachkaufen.

Toomgum, The Nation. The Thai Internet market has reached a crucial point in its
liberalization process after state agency, the Communications Authority of
Thailand (CAT), agreed to sell off its 32 percent stake in the 16 existing
Internet service providers (ISPs).

This week the Communications Authority board approved the state agency`s plan to
sell its 32 percent stake in each of the ISPs back to them.

The next step is for the Transport and Communications Ministry to get permission
from Cabinet to set up a committee to handle the deal.

Once permission is granted, the panel will hire a consultant to work out the
method of sale, which will be submitted for Cabinet approval at a later date.

The government has another incentive to speed up the sale process. It is eager
to boost its popularity ratings with a general election due before the end of
the year.

The deal marks a turning point for ISPs, which have been longing to buy their
stakes from the Authority. They have complained that the holding has constrained
them from raising capital for business expansion.

Each of the ISPs has a registered capital of 15 million baht (US$382,555).

According to Internet regulations, if the ISPs boosted capital they had to buy
share capital for the CAT as well, to help it maintain its holding at the same
32 percent level.

This hindrance would have made service providers less competitive when the
market is fully deregulated in 2006.

For this reason, all 16 ISPs jointly two-pronged buyback plan to the Authority
last month to eliminate this restraint.

According to the plan, the debt-laden ISPs will pay 4.8 million baht ($122,418),
plus 18 percent interest on this amount, for the buyback.

For the profitable service providers, the share of acquisition payment will be
based on their book values.

But there are only a few profitable Thai ISPs - such as Internet Thailand,
Loxley Information Service, KSC Commercial Internet and A Net Internet.

Because of their financial strength, Thailand-based foreign ISPs should have no
difficulty taking up their stakes. Among these are Pacific Internet of Singapore
and Cable & Wireless of Hong Kong.

Akarapong Phongsuwan, country manager of Cable & Wireless Service (Thailand),
said it made no difference to the company if it buys back the stake or not.

But Thai-owned ISPs are eager to buy back the stake to consolidate for future
fund-raising efforts in both local and overseas stock markets.

Loxley Information Service is the first ISP to announce its buyback intention to
enhance its operational flexibility.

KSC Commercial Internet shared the same idea with Loxley Information Service,
chairman Srisakdi Charmonmarn said.

"Because KSC aims to raise funds on the Nasdaq, we expect to pay around 20
million baht ($510,334) for our stake," he said.

With the Communications Authority also planning to establish its own ISP, CAT
Internet, the state agency is no less eager to sell back its ISP shares to avoid
a possible conflict of interest in the future.

Ich poste nicht oft (schreibfaul :-)...) aber in dem Fall halte ich es für wichtig. Ich hatte auch vor, in PCNTF zu investieren. Nun habe ich aufgrund der Kursentwicklung mal kurz auf der NASDAQ Homepage vorbei geschaut. Solltet Ihr auch mal machen! Schaut Euch dabei besonders das P/E und die EPS an..
