Bedenkt mann das Großaktionäre ihre Stocks 1 Jahr behalten müssen da sie der Börsenaufsicht unterliegen.Sollten sie die Aktien vorher verkaufen droht ein empfindliches Bußgeld.

Microsoft [Nasdaq: MSFT Kurs / Chart ] wird sich möglicherweise an Commerce One [Nasdaq: CMRC Kurs / Chart ] beteiligen. Diese Vermutung äußerte George Gilbert, Analyst der Investmentbank CS First Boston, am Dienstag.

Gilbert sagte, dass er „nicht überrascht wäre, wenn Microsoft in Commerce One investieren würde, um den Verkauf von Windows 2000 und BackOffice zu fördern und um einige Marktplätze, an denen Commerce One beteiligt ist, als Teil von Windows.Net zu positionieren“. Microsoft sei im Business-to-Business (B2B)-Bereich bislang nicht engagiert gewesen, so der Analyst weiter.

Commerce One ist ein Anbieter für B2B-eCommerce-Software, mit der ein weltweites Netzwerk von Marktplätzen, das Global Trading Web, geschaffen werden soll.

the creation of a new joint venture company that will provide Internet-based,

Analyst George Gilbert at CS First Boston said in a research report that Microsoft (MSFT: news, msgs) may want to become part of the previously announced Commerce One/SAP alliance. Gilbert said that he "wouldn`t be surprised to see Microsoft invest in Commerce One in order to promote Windows 2000, BackOffice, and to position some of CMRC`s participating marketplaces as part of Windows.Net. Gilbert noted that Microsoft has been "woefully absent" from growth opportunities in the business-to-business arena. As part of the SAP/CMRC alliance, announced on June 14, SAP (SAP: news, msgs) said it would acquire $250 million worth of unregistered stock in Commerce One. Microsoft adding 7/16 to 79 7/8 and SAP is trimming 3/16 to 46 13/16.

zweitens - von einer Rally zu sprechen ist absurd, wir bewegen uns 6$
über dem jahrestief, weiter sinken könnte C1 nur wenn die Nasdaq auf 2700 geht...
drittens - ich glaube, die Luft ist erstmal raus, vielleicht bis zum Herbst, vielleicht für lange Zeiten...

Erstens CMRC steht bei 42,5 und das Jahrestief war bei 32USD das sind 10.5USD unterschied.Zweitens der Emissionspreis lag bei 4,50USD und und Commerce One hat bis zum Jahreshoch schon einen staatlichen Gewinn von 2800% hingelegt.
Willst uns am besten noch Evotec empfehlen,he.
Ansonsten sehe ich Biotech genauso wie B2B.
Zukunftsmärkte die sich im Aufbau befinden aber nicht mehr aufzuhalten sind.
An beiden Märkten wird mit Hochdruck gearbeitet und geforscht.
Und Biotech wird die Medizin Revoulutionieren und B2B auf grund der Einsparungen die OLD-Econommy vor einem absacken und die Wirtschaft vor einer Inflation Bewahren.
Wir erleben eine Technische Revolution.

YHOO explodiert gerade nach der Bekanntgabe seiner Zahlen.
Das ist positiv für den gesamten Internet-Sektor.
C1 zieht bereits auch nachbörslich etwas an (44 Island).

Warum soll es keine Umschichtungen von ARBA zu CMRC geben ?

Bekanntlich gibt es nicht nur chart-technisch, sondern noch viel deutlicher einen Spread bzgl. der MK zwischen ARBA und CMRC.
Ich habe bisher nur ein einziges ernstzunehmendes Argument gelesen, das diesen Spread begründet. wenn wir mal diese zermürbenden Diskussionen, wer das bessere business-model hat, außer acht lassen.

CMRC konnte nur im letzten Quartalszahlen Umsätze in der Größenordnung von ARBA vorlegen. Der Markt könnte das als Einmal-Ereignis interpretieren.
Sollte CMRC auch in diesem Quartal Ergebnisse vorlegen, die denen von ARBA gleichkommen, was sollte dann verhindern, dass sich die MK angleichen ? => mit gewisser Wahrscheinlichkeit geht der Kurs von C1 dann ab ?

Warten wir einfach die Zahlen ab. Wenn sie schlecht ausfallen, hast du Recht gehabt.

über die bewertungsdiskrepanz denke ich auch schon einige monate nach. ich glaube, daß die anleger generell allen exchange-modellen gegenüber skeptisch sind bzw. nicht an nachhaltige erlöse daraus glauben. hinzu kommen sicherheits- und kartellbedenken. arba hat bis heute keine einzige exchange geliefert, bis auf einige einzellösungen für firmen wie Texaco, VW, BMW oder Chevron und verdient sehr schön mit ihren e-procurement-software für indirekte güter. ich glaube auch, daß noch viel zeit vergeht, bis man von echtem handel in den exchanges sprechen kann. doch früher oder später wird dies der fall sein und C1 wird Zugang zu einem gigantischen Kreis von Lieferanten erhalten. Dann wird sich zeigen, daß C1 über die Mega-Exchanges in der Lage ist, ihre Software wesentlich schneller und breiter zu vertreiben. Gegenüber arba haben sie zudem größere Möglichkeiten, im bereich der value-added-services wie supply-chain-management, crm, business-intelligence, u.a. geld zu verdienen, da sie technologielieferant der größten exchanges sein werden. wir brauchen meldungen wie diese hier. execution is the key

Wollte nicht in dem Party Board darauf antworten.
Bin auch der letzte der Tips abgibt wann und ob man überhaupt eine Aktie kauft.
Liegen die Quartalszahlen unter den Erwartungen der Analysten(dann nehme ich mir einen Kredit auf und kaufe nach)dann geht es wohl unweigerlich nach unten.
Liegen die Quartalszahlen im Erwarteten Bereich von -13% dann sollte es Flux nach oben gehen und der Zug kann schnell abfahren und du mußt teuer wieder aufspringen.
Wie Anleger reagieren wenn ein bestimmtes Ereignis eintrift (z.b Quartalszahlen) kann dir auch ein Profi nicht sagen es hängt aber mit Sicherheit auch von dem übrigen Marktumfeld ab.
In den Charts spiegelt sich das Psychologische Anlageverhalten u.a übrigens wieder.
Aber auch erst nachdem ein Ereignis geschah,nicht vorher.
Aber die meisten Charts zeigen auch nach hoch kommt tief und umgekehrt,es liegt wohl daran,das Übertreibungen nach unten genauso wie nach oben statt finden.
Mich hat das ganze Model von CMRC überzeugt.CMRC ist auf dem Weg eine Komplettlösung für den B2B-Bereich anzubieten.
Gelingt ihnen das wird wohl aus Kohle ein Diamant.So,oder so ist eine Aktienanlage eine Spekulation und stellt ein Risiko da.
Alleine aus Steuerrechtlichen Gründen ist eine Langfristanlage die bessere variante.
Ich denke wir glauben alle das sich CMRC durchsetzten wird.
Das ist unsere Speculation.

Hat aber auch 2 Vorteile.
Eimal brauchen wir uns wohl weniger Sorgen zu machen das CMRC pleite geht(Grins),und des weiteren gab CMRC schon vor einiger Zeit die Info raus das an einer Integration von Windows/Intewrnet Explorer gearbeitet wird.
Das vereinfacht die Sache der Handhabung für viele Mitarbeiter erheblich und dürfte auch den Markt zu vielen Mittelständigen Unternehmen öffnen.
Ich finde ein guter Schachzug,und zeigt wieder mal das Commerce One
an einer Komplettlösung arbeitet.

Zieht eine Linie an den Höchstkursen im Mai und Juni.Das ist die obere
Trendlinie.

Ihr erkennt das Dreieck mit der unteren Trendlinie.

Scheint als ob die Zufälle zusammen kommen.
Man kann bei der Nasdaq im Juni deutlich eine Schulter/Kopf/Schulter
Formation erkennen.Außerdem ein Wiederstand bei ca.4050/4100Points.
(Kann ich nicht genau erkennen).
Aber auch dort ist bei einem Durchbrechen der nächste Wiederstand erst bei ca.4400Points.
Gelingt uns da vieleicht doch noch die Heiß ersehnte Sommerrally?

Soweit ich das sehe, ist die Nachfrage durchaus größer als das Angebot. Pessimistisch stimmt mich die Tatsache, das gerade auf der Verkäuferseite große Blöcke angeboten werden (sowohl gestern als auch heute). Sind dies nicht in der Regel institutionelle Investoren, die den Kurs zum Ausstieg nutzen?
Würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich mich irren würde - also berichtigt mich, wenn ich falsch liege!

Ich werden mir auch das ein oder andere Weißbier gönnen. Zum trinken gibts ja bei C1 immer Anlaß allerdings nicht immer aus dem gleichen Grund.
Bin sehr gespannt auf die Quartalszahlen, die ARBA vorlegt. M.E. reicht es, wenn C1 Zahlen in der selben Größenordnung und Ergebnisqualität vorlegt.
Dann ist der MK-spread m.E. nicht mehr lange aufrecht zu erhalten.

Dimstar hat - wie es für ihn charakteristisch ist - weiter oben viel subtiler argumentiert und dargestellt, dass aufgrund des unterschiedlichen business-Models der spread auf mittlere/lange Sicht voraussichtlich nicht Bestand haben wird.
Wie dem auch sei. C1 hat auf jeden Fall ernormes Aufhol-Potential.

Danke für den kurzen Nachhilfeunterricht. Trotzdem bleibt noch ein Problem:

Interpretiere ich dies richtig, so sind die tiefroten Balken mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit institutionelle Anleger, da nur diese das hohe Volumen (25000 shares) realisieren können - Leider stehen die auf der Verkaufsseite. Also im Hinblick auf die QZ stimmt mich dies nicht unbedingt optimistisch.
Der Grund für meine Überlegungen liegt in der Frage, ob ich jetzt noch einsteige oder eher eine techn. Korrektur abwarte. (Leider war ich bei Kursen um 43€ zu unentschlossen)

Du sprichst das Timing-Problem an. Meine Erfahrung ist, dass es fast unmöglich ist, den Markt zu timen.
Deshalb ist meine Strategie nicht alles sofort "reinzuwerfen" sondern nach und nach (average cost effect).
Ich habe bei C1 z.B. insgesamt 8 Käufe bis jetzt getätigt. ich glaube das reicht fürs erste .

Wie aussagekräftige diese "Supers" sind, kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, dazu verfolge ich thomsoninvest noch nicht lange genug.
Auf jeden Fall sehe ich gerade, dass wir die psychologische Marke von 50 $ locker geknackt haben.

quarter ended June 30, 2000.

Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2000 marked the largest quarter in Ariba’s history at $80.7 million, up
101 percent from the previous quarter and up 578 percent from the same period last year. Net loss for the
quarter excluding non-operating charges was $11.3 million or a loss of $0.05 per share, beating the First Call
consensus estimate of a loss of $0.08 per share. During the corresponding quarter in fiscal 1999, the net loss

New Customers

The company signed a record amount of new deals with industry leaders including BMW, Bank of America,
Kaiser Permanente, Bethlehem Steel, ABN AMRO, Lucent Technologies, Lloyds TDB Group plc, Arthur
Andersen, Southwest Airlines Co., Texaco, Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Group plc, Molson, US Navy,
Textron and many others. BMW Group announced it will use the Ariba B2B Commerce Platform to aggregate
spend, consolidate supplier base and improve the efficiency of the procurement process.

Kaiser Permanente, America’s largest non-profit Health Maintenance Organization, selected the Ariba B2B
Commerce Platform to create greater economies of scale and supply chain efficiencies with its suppliers via
the Internet. The Federal Government conducted its first General Service Administration (GSA) auctions on the
Web via AMS the Ariba Dynamic Trade Solution. Last year, GSA conducted over $260 million in Federal
surplus property sales.

The IBM, i2 and Ariba alliance also continued to gain traction and resulted in several significant exchange deals
including e2Open, an industry consortium including Hitachi, IBM, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Nortel, Seagate,
Solectron and Toshiba; MetalExchange involving Alcoa, Reynolds, Kaiser and others.

Partnerships

Ariba forged several best-of-breed partnerships to expand product, service and distribution capabilities.

Habe deine Statement zu meinen Fragen gelesen und bin in mich gegangen und habe kurz später bei C1 (48 Euro) nachgekauft.

Eine Frage wäre da noch. Wann glaubt ihr beginnen die ersten Gewinnmitnahmen bzw. gibt es schon erste Meldungen in welche Richtung die Quartalzahlen bei cmrc ausfallen (ariba sensationell!) Und werden die Kurse bei schlechten Quartalszahlen für C1 sofort zu fallen beginnen oder können sie vielleicht ihr dann erreichtest Niveau halbwegs halten. Ich weiß, das sind Fragen über Fragen. Ich bin aber erst am Anfang meiner Investorenkarriere. (mit C1 allerdings ein guter Start)

Hallo Manol,

da Ariba im Vergleich zu c1 3-4 mal höherbewertet ist, können wir wohl davon ausgehen, das c1 bis zum 18.7 auf jeden Fall weiter steigen wird. Natürlich ist auch heute ( Steigerung 43$ -> 57$ =>30% ) mit Gewinnmitnahmen zu rechnen, sodaß der Kurs kurzzeitig mal unerheblich einsacken könnte.
Die Kursentwicklung nach den Quartalzahlen kann schlecht vorrausgesagt werden.
c1 baut Megaplattformen, welche natürlich eine längere Vorbereitungszeit brauchen als die von Ariba. Der Deal mit SAP und die Übernahme von Appnet werden sich auch erst später im 3. oder 4.Quartal bemerkbar machen.
Ich vermute daher, das die Erwartungen, welche durch die Zahlen von Ariba geschürt wurden nicht erfüllt werden können.
Ariba wird daher weniger Verlust und mehr Umsatz im 2. Quartal aufweisen können ( aber bestimmt nicht nach dem 4. Quartal ).
Wie die Anleger darauf reagieren ist ungewiss, ich halte meine c1 jedenfalls alle im Depot.

wohin die Quartalszahlen bei cmrc hingehen, darüber habe ich keine Informationen, aber da Börse
Zukunft ist, und ariba ein so sensationelles Ergebnis bekannt gegeben hat, denke ich werden
auch bie cmrc sehr gute Zahlen erwartet. Daher denke ich, werden die Kurse bis nächsten Dienstag noch
steigen. Sollte dann das Ergebnis ebenso gut ausfallen, wie bei ariba, kann ich mir unter Umständen
sogar Gewinnmitnahmen vorstellen, da das gute Ergebnis ja von den Börsianern in den jetzigen Kursen
inbegriffen ist. Aber es könnte auch zu einem weiteren Schub kommen, da das enorme Potential von cmrc
erkannt wurde. Auch im Hinblick auf ariba, und die Aussicht darauf, das cmrc bereits früher den Break-even
schafft, als erwartet.
Bei schlechten Zahlen wird es unweigerlich nach unten gehen, aber davon gehe ich nicht aus.

Ich bin natürlich auch von positiven Quartalszahlen überzeugt und deshalb bleibe ich auf jeden fall einmal investiert. Die Story des Unternehmens ist einfach zu gut und c1 ist einfach viel zu unterbewertet als das da was schiefgehen kann - zumindest langfristig gesehen!

Ok im Ernst...es hängt wie alles im Leben von Deinem Anlagetyp ab, denk mal darüber nach...Keine Aktie 10 sec behalten, die Du nicht auch 10 Jahre behalten würdest.

Wenn CMRC das Kriterium WIRKLICH bei DIR erfüllt.....dann weißt Du ja was Du willst.

Ansonsten lieber andere Werte künftig kaufen, CSCO, Dell, Microsoft, SUN EMC usw. Da kannst Du recht ruhig schlafen aber auch nicht soclhe Partys an drei Tagen erleben

Ich will bei C1 eh langfristig interessiert bleiben.
Mir ist klar das dies ein recht risikoreiches Investment ist.
Bin ja auch "nur" mit 10% meines Gesamtdepots an C1 beteiligt,
Sehe sonst kein anderes Unternehmen das eine solche Story hat.
Vorallem der geringe variablen Kostenblock erstaunt mich und läßt mich an Bruttorenditen von 25% glauben, wenn erstmal alle
Riesenplattformen am laufen sind.

Wenn dann noch MSFT dazukommt?

Die Rolle von MSFT ist mir auch nicht ganz klar. Sie haben überall ihre Finger drin.
Das Engagement in VERT ist bekannt.
Es gibt Gerüchte über eine größere beabsichtigte Investition in C1.

Ich habe auf den Ami-boards nichts gelesen, was untenstehenden Artikel bestätigen würde.

Ein kleiner Hinweis: die Boards (auch unsere) werden weltweit gelesen.
Plötzlich findet sich diese Nachricht bei RB, YHOO, oder SI wieder. Ich habe das in letzter Zeit einige Male mitverfolgt.

Also zur Sicherheit immer mit Quellenangabe.

Kann auch nichts finden. Kurs im Amiland nachbörslich bei 60$, also steigende Tendenz und das kurz vor den Zahlen (sollten wir die 60 tatsächlich geknackt haben?). Diese sollten dann auch so ausfallen, wie die Analyste es erwarten: sonst würde man im Vorfeld mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinichkeit langsam fallende Kurse sehen, da so etwas ja meist vor Bekanntgabe schon durchsickert.
Ist alles aber nur meine persönliche Meinung.

Jul 13, 2000 (Tech Web - CMP via COMTEX) -- IBM`s e-commerce team has won a
major B-to-B infrastructure contract from the WorldWide Retail Exchange.

IBM`s group, which includes Ariba (stock: ARBA) and i2 Technologies (stock:
ITWO), will build an online marketplace that will connect suppliers to some of
the world`s largest merchants.

Among the members of the exchange are: Royal Ahold NV; Albertson`s, Best Buy;
The Gap; J.C. Penney; CVS; Kmart; Marks & Spencer; Safeway; Target; and
Walgreens. Current members have combined yearly sales of about $454 billion.

The IBM (stock: IBM) team reportedly beat out an alliance of Microsoft (stock:
MSFT), Andersen Consulting and Commerce One (stock: CMRC) to win the contract.

The WRE has gained strong traction in the retailing community and has picked up
membership at the expense of GlobalNetExchange, a rival marketplace formed by
Sears Roebuck and Carrefour. Oracle (stock: ORCL) built the infrastructure for
that exchange, which is already operating.

On Thursday, the WWRE announced five new members: Dairy Farm International;
Spain`s El Corte Ingles; Rite Aid; Britain`s Safeway; and SUPERVALU.

The value of the multi-year infrastructure deal was not released. The exchange
is expected to go live this summer.

Shares of IBM fell 1 1/2 Thursday to 103 1/8, but stocks of the other two
members of the alliance soared. Ariba gained 27 11/16 to 131 3/16 while i2
jumped 18 3/8 to 141 9/16.
