Vorab ich habe selber HRCT Aktien, zu einem Duchschnittskurs von etwa
€12. Und ich gratuliere zu dieser Threadreihe, es gibt nicht viele dieser Art.
Aber findet ihr nicht auch, das HRCT im Moment fair bewertet ist.
Wenn ich mir da andere Unternehmen anschaue, finde ich das HRCT keinesfalls unterbewertet ist.
Ich vergleiche HRCT mal mit TRIA Software, die hat sich auch in eine Holding gewandelt, die Beteiligungen eingeht die untereinander starke Synergieeffekte aufweisen, um die dann später an die Börse zu bringen.
Nebenher läuft ihr "altes" Geschäft, in dem sie Gewinne generieren, und mit etwa 40% wachsen.
TRIA ist mit $150 MIO. bewertet.


Und jetzt mal zum nachdenken, denn jeder entschuldigt die Verzögerungen, die jetzt schon arg weit auf sich warten lassen.

Second question...status of Sinobull IPO
E&Y have committed to complete the business plan by 1/31. It is necessary for completion of the investment banking aggreement. The units of Sinobull had revenues of 6.6 million last year and were profitable. All the Investment Bankers want to be involved in it!! The Chinese Banker locked Dr Phan in his office and did not want him to leave until he had signed a letter of agreement. He did not sign it. Usually to get an Investment banking firm involved it requires paying a fee to them for them to do their DD. This fee ranges from 500,000 to 1,000,000 for eaqch firm. All the involved IB firms, including Merril, have waived their fees on Sinobull. They all want in!!
The IPO agreement should be completed by 2/15 if E&Y nfinish the plan on 1/31. It then will take 5 or 6 months until the IPO is placed. Look for August.
Dr Phan stated that the value of the IPO would be greater by approx 20% if it was gone on GEM. NASDAQ wants it also. The current thought is 70% NASDAQ and 30% GEM.

Third question...NASDAQ listing.
It is with the attorneys. Dr Phan asked them to do the S-3 so the $ can be released by Schwartz first. He expects NASDAQ paperwork to be completed by NEXT FRIDAY!!!
Now, this is interesting...NASDAQ has actually been calling him, asking when they are going to submit the paperwork. Dr Phan said he expects a quick turnaround with a listing in maybe 30 days after submission.

American partner...
Is tied up in legal paperwork currently. Dr Phan joked that Big Americam Companies move slower that the Chinese government. Most of the interested companies wanted to control Sinobull, taking 85%, instead of the 10% offered.
He said American partner announced in weeks. Two investment groups want to pay 5,000,000 each for 5% OF Sinobull.

bin eben noch bei meinem gemüsehändler gewesen (der kann ein bischen chinesisch) - er bestätigte mir meine vermutung.

nun chinesische schriftzeichen lassen sich auf wo: nur dann sichtbar wiedergeben wenn du zb. von der sinobull-seite auch entsprechend in orginalsprache kopierst. dazu mußt du einfach die codierung deines browsers ändern. dies geschieht wenn du an eine x-beliebige stelle der seite rechts klickst und besagtes änderst. nachdem du kopiert hast wechselt du zur wo:-seite und änderst wiederum die codierung in westeuropa. dann einfach einfügen und fertig .......

Noch etwas zum Lesen für die lange (schlaflose) Nacht. Interessant vor allem der zweite Artikel, der die gegenwärtige Stimmung kommentiert. Zwar trifft die Argumentation eigentlich nicht auf HRCT/Sinobull zu, aber offenbar wird auch HRCT nicht verschont. Stimmungen ändern sich jedoch sehr schnell! Zuvor aber noch ein kurzer Artikel über Sina.com, der gewissermaßen ein konkretes Beispiel für die erwähnte Stimmung ist, die der zweite Artikel behandelt:

13Jul2000 CHINA: China Web portals seen facing stingy IPO markets.

HONG KONG, July 13 (Reuters) - Investment bankers on Thursday said capital markets are all but shut for Chinese consumer Internet portal companies after the disappointing pricing reversal and flat Nasdaq debut of Sohu.com on Wednesday.
Sohu priced 4.6 million shares at US$13 each, marking a dramatic eleventh-hour retreat from its official price range of US$16-19 to the bottom of its initial US$13-16 pre-marketing range.
The portal, whose name means "search fox" in Chinese, was still pricing its shares a half hour after Nasdaq opened on the stock`s debut trading day.
"People are no longer interested in the portal story from China. Investors ask, when are you going to break even, in three years? Talk to me in two years," a banker at a U.S.-based investment bank said.
Analysts said the market only has appetite for China`s top four portals, all of which have already listed on Nasdaq.
Sohu`s IPO raised US$59.8 million. Rivals Netease.com raised US$69.75 million in June and Sina.com raised US$68 million in April.
Chinadotcom was the first and biggest China portal to list on Nasdaq, raising a hefty US$519.5 million in two stock offerings.
"I think the market`s already had a glut of Chinese IPOs," said analyst Jonathan Iu of SG Securities. "The story`s wearing a bit thin now."
Sohu`s struggle to lure investors this week contrasted sharply with Sina.com`s IPO just three months before. Sources have said Sina`s offering was oversubcribed with more than 10 times demand by investors eager for China exposure.
UNDETERRED
Despite the less-than-robust interest in recent China Internet issues, Chinese e-commerce company 8848.net (China) Co Ltd on Thursday said it plans a Nasdaq listing
Bankers, however, predicted that 8848.net`s IPO is unlikely to hit the market in the near future given the lack of investor enthusiasm seen in Sohu`s IPO.
While it is still possible to list an Internet company from China, investors are looking for companies that offer more just a platform through a horizontal portal, analysts said.
Software, e-commerce, business-to-business solutions, proprietary technology and portals with original content will be good picks, said analyst Stephen McKeever of Lehman Brothers.
CAUTIONARY TALE
The Sohu incident should serve as a cautionary tale for both Internet companies and their bankers that a proven track record and legitimate growth make stronger selling points than a discounted share price.
"The best chance for Chinese Internet companies now is to wait for a big guy like Yahoo to buy them out," a banking industry source said. "The stand-alone model offered by the companies we`ve seen so far this year is just not going to work anymore."

HONGKONG - The number of China`s mobile phone subscribers are expected to exceed that of fixed-line telephone users by 2004, Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia (CLSA) said on Wednesday.
China would have 214 million mobile phone subscribers by the end of 2004, while fixed-line telephone users would reach 185 million at that time, the brokerage said in a research report released to reporters.
China is expected to have more than 70 million mobile phone users and 120 million fixed-line phone users by the end of this year, according to data released by China`s Ministry of Information Industry.
At the end of last year, China had 43 million mobile phone users and 109 million fixed-line phone users, CLSA said.
CLSA said it had picked China Mobile (HK) as one of 10 Hong Kong-listed China shares as "top buys".
China Mobile would rise on expected injection of more assets from its parent, it said.
It set a price target for China Mobile`s shares of HK$92. On Wednesday, the stock closed at HK$71.75, down 1.71 percent on the day.

(13 July 2000) It appears that there really is security in
numbers.

After Ever Bright Securities and Shenyin & Wanguo
Securities pondered a merger, Huaxia Securities and Beijing
Securities are now inclined to do the same, as are Guangfa
Securities and Guangdong Securities.

Ever Bright Securities has acquired nearly 20 percent of
Shenyin & Wanguo Securities’ stakes from the Industrial and
Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) since the end of last year,
according to the July 6 Zhongguo Shang Bao (Business
Daily).

Insiders stated that Huaxia Securities, a nationwide
securities company, was deliberating on a merger with
local-run Beijing Securities.The net assets and profits of
Huaxia Securities last year were 1.3 billion renminbi (US$157
million) and Rmb 218 million (US$26.33 million), respectively.
Beijing Securities was not listed on last year`s top-20 brokers`
rankings in terms of these two aspects.

The projected merger between Guangfa Securities and
Guangdong Securities is only in its initial phase. Guangfa
Securities, which is progressively spreading its business
nationwide, placed seventh and fourth on last year`s rankings
of the industry in terms of the company`s net assets and
profits, which were Rmb 2.1 billion (US$254 million) and Rmb
612 million (US$73.91 million), respectively. Guangdong
Securities, on the other hand, is lagging behind.

There are currently about 30 big and small securities
companies in China, among which local-run securities
companies account for a sizeable proportion.

Consequently, securities companies not only engage in
increasing equities and expanding shares, but also
strengthen themselves through merging. Market analysts
indicate that the market-dominated merging tendency is more
beneficial than administrative involvement of the authorities.

14Jul2000 CHINA: CHINA APPROVES PLAN TO BREAK UP TELECOMS SECTOR.
BEIJING, July 14, Asia Pulse - China`s central government hasapproved a plan to set up a satellite telecommunicationsoperator - ChinaSat - to further break up the market monopolyof the telecommunications industry.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Information Industry (MII),Cheng Guanghui, told a press conference here on July 13 thatthe plan to create ChinaSat had been approved by the StateCouncil.
In the first half of this year, the former state-ownedChina Telecom was divided to two parts: China Telecom and ChinaMobile.
Other major competitors include China Unicom, ChinaNetcom, and China Jitong.
While giving more decision-making rights to telecoms firmsin their daily operation, the government tightened control ofindustrial standards.
"The Telecommunications Administration Regulations is nowunder the examination and to be approved by the State Council,"Cheng said.
He noted that China had exerted efforts to improve marketaccess and standards of its telecommunications sector.
"Meanwhile, we have worked hard to formulate the informationlaws and regulations so as to meet the challenges brought byChina`s accession into the World Trade Organization," hesaid.
The efforts also include revising the tariff regulations,according to Cheng. MII is now working with taxationauthorities to draft implementation rules of tax incentives forcomputer software and integrated circuit companies and is alsodrafting a catalogue of duty-free integrated circuit goods byconsulting with foreign trade and customs authorities.
Early this year, MII promulgated TelecommunicationsService Standards to urge telecoms operators to improve servicequality.
At the press conference, Cheng also predicted a boost ine-commerce in the country in the next three years, saying thetrade volume of e-commerce was expected to reach 800 millionyuan this year and to top 10 billion yuan ($US1.2 billion USdollars) in 2002.
According to MII statistics, China now has more than 20million computers and an electronic information network with awide band which covers most cities around the country.
More than 34,000 Chinese companies have registered theirdomain names on the Internet, with more than 1,000 E-commercewebsites.
MII figures show that by the end of May, 2000, the numberof Internet users in China has topped 10 million.
China now also has the world`s second-largest fixedtelephone network and the third-largest mobile telephonenetwork. By the end of May, China had 124 million users offixed telephones and more than 56 million cellular phoneusers.
China`s telecommunications operation and service sectorssaw 27.1% growth to reach 123.47 billion yuan in revenue in thefirst five months.
The sales turnover of the manufacturing sector of ITproducts soared 32.7% to 200.7 billion yuan in the five-monthperiod.

das herrschende börsentier von bär zu bulle.dafür braucht es nichtmal neue positive news zu geben.

While I don`t know exactly how many transactions SinoBull has made since it first when into operation, I would estimate it would be in the millions. Some branch offices have been 16,000 a month. That was even before the Launch Ceremony. With our projections for 150 branch offices by the end of the year and the general growth of the online trading sector and availablity, millions of transactions per month is very possible next year.

To our customers and the audience in general, they were very pleased with the services we provide over the multitude of access methods available (PC, data terminal, set top box `Stock Easy`, wireless handheld PC `Pocket 162`, Nokia`s 7110 mobile handset line via SIFTT, voice recognition phone service, PDA`s PalmOS and Windows CE-based, or bi-directional pagers). Since most have little expertise in these areas, SinoBull was recognized as a clear leader by our technical expertise, our secure Virtual Private Network, our high quality financial content and market data (recognized by Yahoo! China, The People`s Daily, Securities Daily and others), and ability for secure financial transactions beyond just stock transactions (ie. banking, monetary exchange, etc). In addition to the UAC162 being a secure medium, but is relatively much quicker. China Telecom`s lines are heavily bogged with overwhelming capacity. So if you had a 14.4-28.8kbps modem for only slight premium would you pay for DSL or cable modem access? For the retail customer that might be a perplexing question, but for financial institutions, this is not question as financial transactions need to be completed almost instantaneously. Each subscribed brokerage, banking or financial institutional choses to go online through UAC162 for all their sensitive financial transactions and exchanges.

As examples of the huge growth potentials on just ISP charges alone (disregarding SinoBull`s other avenues sources), Chow Shou-Chuan, the Chinese Stock Exchange Commission, mentioned (from a June 12 publication of Chinese Daily News) projections of possibly 15 million online investors in under a year`s time in China.

Based on that, conservatively in 2 years then, if SinoBull subscribing firms only made up 7.5 million of these online investors, and each only access their account for 1 minute per working day (for making a trade, researching data, getting a quote, reading an article etc), that would be revenues of: 52weeks * 5working days * 7.5million users * 1minute access per day * $0.06 US ISP charge per minute = $117,000,000 US in revenues.

And noting that the Chinese stock market currently leads world markets with 47% growth over the 1st 6 months of the 2000, such scale could be attainable.

Morgan Stanley Dean Whitter predicts (conservatively as compared to other estimates such as the Yankee Group) that China`s online population will reach in excess of 200 million by 2010. At the beginning of the year 2000, China was estimated to have approx. 40 million investor accounts and 10 million people online. In 2010, China`s investing patterns would be much similar to the US` or due to cultural tendancies, possibly even greater, so 1 minute per working day may be too low an average for even conservative calculations. If SinoBull had just 40 million accounts at that time, revenues could be in the billions. Since many costs are either fixed or move in smaller increments with large increases in volume, our prospects for profitability with such volume are a large part of our confidence in our future.

Revenues for SinoBull will not strictly be on stock trades or financial institution transactions alone, since SinoBull is a financial services integrator, platform and E-Finance portal. As an E-Finance portal, SinoBull is in the process of securing itself as arguably the #1 source for financial information and data in China (high quality original content, a network of reporters across China, and direct information from company sources). As a financial content provider, SinoBull plans to also be a full media provider, with not just the web and wireless content to mobile phones, but through the SinoBull and CCN Financial TV Channel planned to build up into a 24 hour medium for SinoBull financial news and SinoBull product lines.

In these factors, we feel that SinoBull is vastly different than recent China entities Netease.com, Sohu.com or Sina.com, with greater scope than an ICP (Internet Content Provider), relying on the generally acceptabled more profitable B2B model than B2C or strictly advertising dependant models.

Chinas Telekomgiganten bekommen Gegenwind



Chinas führende Telekommunikationskonzerne China Mobile und China Unicom müssen sich in Zukunft auf zunehmenden Wettbewerb einstellen. Wie das Ministerium für die Informationsindustrie (MII) mitteilte, hat die chinesische Regierung Pläne gebilligt, die die Gründung eines Satellitentelekommunikationsbetreibers mit Namen ChinaSat vorsehen. Ziel ist ein weiterer Aufbruch von Marktmonopolen in dem Land. Damit werden die beiden Marktführer mit China Netcom, China Jitong und der neuen ChinaSat nunmehr bereits drei Konkurrenten haben.

Während der Staat die Einflussnahme auf Geschäftsentscheidungen mehr und mehr aufgibt, hat er die Kontrolle über Telekommunikationsstandards ausgebaut, um Marktzugang und Standards zu verbessern. Auch auf mehr Qualität und Service legt die Regierung in letzter Zeit gesteigerten Wert und macht auf die Unternehmen Druck.

In Hongkong legte China Mobile ein Prozent auf 73,00 HK-Dollar zu, Unicom gewann sogar 6,2 Prozent auf 21,30 HK-Dollar. In Frankfurt steht China Mobile (WKN 909622) heute 1,5 Prozent im Plus bei 9,97 Euro. China Mobile (WKN 615613) gewann heute in Berlin 5,3 Prozent auf 3,00 Euro.

The Gains Can Be Enticing but There Are Daunting Hurdles

Every time Charles Cheung makes the trip from Hong Kong up to Beijing, he visits Zhongguancun, a technology park near the university district. Through the windows of the park`s subsidized office buildings Mr. Cheung, Asian equity strategist for Salomon Smith Barney, watches young Chinese graduates and high-school students after school working away on their business plans on old, often home-made computers. "99% of their business models won`t ever work," says Mr. Cheung, "but it`s very exciting to see what`s happening."
Back in Hong Kong and money centers elsewhere in the world, investors are rediscovering China. The local Chinese markets in Shenzhen and Shanghai are up between 31% and 46% in the past year. Although the red-chip index and the H-share index in Hong Kong are down around 6% and 1%, respectively, they`ve still outperformed other Asian markets, many of which are down between 10% and 40% this year.
This time there`s a new edge to the old China theme of fast economic growth and huge population. According to fund managers and analysts, China`s young people are starting to create modern, dynamic companies that are truly worthy of foreign investment.
"What`s exciting to me is that there`s a new generation coming up," says Kate Schapiro, managing director of international equities at Wells Capital Management in San Francisco. "Often they`ve gone to school outside China, they`ve spent time in overseas investment banks where they`ve learned things and they`re capable of starting a business and producing a profitable product."
Mounting evidence of economic recovery is a key driver of the new bullishness on China. Deflation and the threat of currency devaluation, two specters that have haunted China`s markets over the past few years, have receded. The government`s vigorous reflation policy seems to be working: M1, or total cash in circulation plus demand deposits grew 22% in the year ended in May and according to Morgan Stanley Dean Witter now stands at its highest level since December 1997.
Crucially, China`s long-awaited entry to the World Trade Organization now looks certain following May`s agreement with the European Union and the U.S. Congress`s decision to approve normal trade relations. As a result, political risk and the fear that economic reform might slow or reverse have diminished, analysts say. "The divide between reformists versus conservatives isn`t relevant anymore," says Richard Margolis, a political strategist for Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong. "There`s no going back."
Before you jump into a China fund, however, consider the following caveats. China still suffers from crippling structural problems: a fragile, debt-ridden banking and a lossmaking, state-owned industrial sector.
Solving those defects will be painful. Although exports are powering growth in the country`s gross domestic product right now, it remains to be seen whether domestic demand will be robust enough to take over if exports slow, as expected, in line with world growth. Relations with Taiwan still loom heavy over Chinese markets. At the stockpicking level, the management at many mainland companies lacks in ability and transparency.
There are exceptions. Ms. Schapiro enthuses about a recent meeting with the management of Beijing-based, Hong Kong-listed Legend Holdings, a personal-computer maker which has captured 27% of the Chinese PC market and has ambitions to bring the Internet to households right across China. "The CEO was direct, answered my questions, understood shareholder value and didn`t try to skirt around issues as many Chinese managements do," she says. Legend Holdings is one of a very few Chinese companies which have introduced stock options for its employees.
China`s handful of technology, media and telecom stocks are expensive. Legend Holdings, for example, now trades on a price-to-earnings ratio of over 100 times forecast earnings for 2000, according to Stephanie Wu, senior fund manager for North Asia at Foreign & Colonial in London. China`s largest mobile-phone seller, China Telecom, trading at more than 70 times 2000 earnings, is another example. Despite this, analysts say that investors who believe in China for the long term should still pay up for the best. "China Telecom and China Unicom aren`t cheap, but after WTO entry overseas telecom giants will likely seek alliances with them which will push their values up even more," says Mr. Cheung.
Since the government controls information tightly, there isn`t much in the way of media to buy in China. One exception is Phoenix TV, a Chinese-language satellite news broadcaster jointly owned by Rupert Murdoch`s Star TV and a mainland Chinese businessman. Phoenix TV was listed in June on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Internet portals abound. Sina.com, Chinadotcom, Sohu.com and Netease.com are some of the most popular. Investors should bear in mind, though, that as a source of uncensored information the Internet is politically controversial. "I`m excited about the Internet in China," says Ms. Schapiro, "but you`ve got to remember that the government can shut it off whenever it likes."
A safer Internet play, according to Ajay Kapur, Asia equity strategist at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Hong Kong, could be Asiainfo Technologies, a seller of Internet-related information technology, professional services and software products in China. The company listed on the Nasdaq exchange in the U.S. this year.
"It`s an established company which is providing the backbone for Internet development in China," says Mr. Kapur.
China`s upcoming entry to the WTO will in itself offer stockpicking opportunities, say analysts, although they also warn investors not to expect any immediate results. Shipping, for instance, is an obvious beneficiary of increased trade between China and the rest of the world. On Mr. Cheung`s list of WTO plays is COSCO Pacific, a Hong Kong-listed container company. CITIC Pacific, he thinks, is another potential WTO winner: it`s building a fiber-optic backbone on the mainland that will link 22 major Chinese cities. Since the company does not as yet have a license it would benefit greatly from telecom-related liberalization.
Some sectors of the Chinese economy will lose from WTO entry, however. Chinese car makers will suffer if the current 80%-100% import tariff on foreign passenger vehicles is lowered. Agricultural producers will similarly find it hard to compete with cheaper and higher-quality products from overseas.
Investors in China should pay close attention to exactly how they`re getting their exposure. There are red chips which are Hong-Kong listed concerns with Chinese government parent companies. H-Shares in Hong Kong and B-shares in Shenzhen and Shanghai are also open to foreign investors, but the latter are mostly ignored due to chronic illiquidity. A-Shares are for local Chinese investors only, although there is growing speculation on the back of comments from the China Securities Regulatory Commission that the A and B share markets will be merged. Foreigners would then be allowed to buy both kinds.
Mark Mobius, managing director at Templeton Asset Management in Hong Kong, will only buy companies which are listed on the main Hong Kong Stock Exchange and relatively free from government control. Buying red chips or H-shares, Mr. Mobius says, means that your ultimate partner is the government of China. State interests, he adds, are not always aligned with those of a shareholder.
"In telecoms, shareholders want companies to maximize their profits and minimize competition," he says. "The government on the other hand wants to provide telecom services as cheaply as possible to the widest number of people. It also wants to drawn in foreign exchange to bail out the banks, meaning more competition for local players." Hong Kong companies, he says, can make their own decisions and turn down government requests. Mr. Mobius has bought stocks like Cheung Kong Holdings, HSBC, Hutchison Whampoa, New World Development and Hang Lung Bank, all of which earn revenues from mainland China as well as from Hong Kong.
At Foreign & Colonial, Ms. Wu is less wary. She likes H-share cyclicals. "People have been reluctant to go into H-shares because they`re mostly old economy stocks and there`s been excess domestic capacity," she says. "But we feel strongly that these sectors are turning around; capacity has been phased out and H-shares turned in positive growth last year." Airlines and chemical companies are among Ms. Wu`s favorite sectors. She adds that H-shares are trading at 0.7 times book value, making them among the cheapest cyclicals in the world.
But for many individual investors, the best way to get exposure to China other than buying individual shares, which is risky, is through a fund. You can choose from a number of levels of exposure: a diversified emerging-markets fund, for instance, will probably have only about 10% exposure to Chinese stocks. If you`re more confident about China`s prospects, you could opt for a Pacific Asia ex-Japan fund which will have more like 25% to 45% of its value in Chinese and Hong Kong stocks. Make sure that you know whether your fund includes Hong Kong stocks: some managers are lumping together China and Hong Kong and there`s little consistency as yet.
China bulls can buy a so-called "pure" China fund like those offered by Fidelity and Investec Guinness Flight. Bill Rocco, a senior analyst at Morningstar.com in Chicago, warns however that at this early stage, pure funds could be a step too far. "I`m getting a lot more calls about China funds right now," he says. "But most U.S. and European investors don`t need dedicated China exposure."

14Jul2000 CHINA: CHINA BUSINESS INFORMATION NETWORK (CBNET) - China expects e-commerce boom within three years.
The total volume of online-trading is expected to reach 800 million yuan (US$96.4 million) this year and the country will see a full blossom of E-commerce in the next three years.
Cheng Guanghui, an official from the Ministry of Information Industry (MII), told a press conference in Beijing Thursday morning that China`s E-commerce sector will expand rapidly in the next three years, with trade volume topping 10 billion yuan (US$1.2 billion) in 2002.
According to MII statistics, China now has more than 20 million computers and an electronic information network with wide band, which covers most of the cities around the country.
More than 34,000 Chinese companies have registered their domain names on the Internet, with more than 1,000 E-commerce websites.
MII figures show that by the end of May, 2000, the number of Internet users in China has topped 10 million.
China now also has the world`s second largest fixed telephone network and the third largest mobile telephone network. By the end of May, China has 124 million users of fixed telephones and more than 56 million cellular phone users.

Über Sinobull wird grunsätzlich all das gehandelt, was über die angeschlossenen Broker gehandelt wird, d.h. es kommt darauf an, für welche Märkte diese Broker Lizenzen besitzen. Da Sinobull mit Huaxia (China Securities), Guosen, Anshan, Xiangcai etc. einige der größten Brokerhäuser zu seinen Kunden zählen kann, wird hier die gesamte Bandbreite abgedeckt, da sie über sämtliche Lizenzen (A-, B- und H-Shares) verfügen (Huaxia und Guosen verfügen definitiv über diese Lizenzen, bei den anderen müßte man noch einmal genau nachprüfen, in welchen Segmenten sie vorwiegend tätig sind). Also: über Sinobull werden prinzipiell Aktien aus sämtlichen Segmenten gehandelt, da die Kunden von Sinobull für alle entsprechenden Aktienmärkte in China und Hongkong zugelassen sind.

bei den diskussionsforen foren handelt es sich nicht nur um null-nummern ohne resonanz, nein es wird sogar fleißig diskutiert. versteh´dabei leider kein wort, aber die anzahl der unterschiedlichsten user stimmt mich auserordentlich positiv.

unser keimling entpuppt sich vielleicht wirklich noch als Mammutbaum??

Jointhefun, the NASD board meets twice a month to decide on the approval or denial of the
application. Somebody told me that HRCT application review and recommendation was
submitted late so it could not go on the meting of July 25th; but it would get on the schedule of
the next meeting, which is 8/8.

Guten Morgen,

mich beunruhigen diese "Meldungen" eher. Bei einer anderen Aktie, die ich gerade mit Verlust verkauft habe, wurde die Unternehmensnews immer weniger und die Nachrtichten informierter Aktionäre immer mehr. Dabei fiel der Kurs kontinuierlich. Bei Hartcourt habe ich ein viel besseres Gefühl, es gibt ja auch gute News, trotzdem dauert es mir mit dem Nasdaq-Listing zu lang in Anbetracht der angekündigten Zeitspanne und auch das Stillschweigen bezüglich des vor Monaten "kurz bevorstehenden" Sinobull Deals gefällt mir nicht. Aber wahrscheinlich bin ich im Moment ein bißchen übersensibilisiert.

Wie das Wetter, so sind ja auch die Nachrichten uneinheitlich. Sinobull entwickelt sich prächtig, aber das Nasdaq-Listing-Prozedere (Gezeter, Hin-und-Her) gefällt mir überhaupt nicht.

Aber dexter, Deine Musik vertreibt sofort alle Regentropfen. Höre mir schon permanent die Musik an! Let`s sing in the Nasdaq-Rain, the sun will come - maybe on 8th of August?

mich würde das wirklich interessieren: Kennt von Euch noch jemand die letzte offizielle Verlautbarung zum Thema Nasdaq und Sinobull Beteiligung? Diese ganzen anderen News sind doch eigentlich eher Beiwerk, solange die wesentlichen Aufgaben (Nasdaq, Sinobull) nicht gelöst sind. Und bei minus 45% auf Kaufkurs wird es mir langsam unheimlich.

Hi Denche3, yes Innostar is still in the picture, actually their executive staff has been extremely helpful in setting up the August SinoBull Charity Night, as I understand it. Although I forget the name of the CEO of Innostar, if memory serves me correct, he is very well connected and knows very many people in Beijing. As for Innostar itself, Dr. Phan envisions wrapping it together with ChinaOnline (COL) for complementary services (wireless access and the content portals and customer base of business websites and services). Besides just this development for Internet infrastructure, we are seriously looking into a new broadband ISP venture being put forth in all the major cities (Shanghai being a major hub), an effort is cutting edge in China`s IT space.



Hi Kingzdogg, Dr. Phan has originally been planning to write a letter when returning from China, late last week. On some of the points he wanted to write about, he needed additional clarification/finalization before he felt they are appropriate to discuss. When the timing is appropriate for Dr. Phan, he will write a letter. He does apologize for the longer intervals between letters these days, but as you notice he`s spending much more time abroad since he is becoming much busier. As the personification of Hartcourt, for many business negotiations, his presence is needed particularly with companies outside of China.



Hi Dagoduck, unfortunately I can`t comment on what was in Dr. Phan`s luggage :-) but you may like to check a couple of the other posts I wrote regarding some of the points you are interested in. As mentioned previously, an area we are seriously looking into are additional broadband ISP solutions in China.

Hi Golfbcw, unfortunately I cannot provide dates, as the discussions are still very active with all parties, and there is some additional interest from new parties who are admittedly, coming late to the dance. We have implied that Hartcourt and SinoBull are working on a very quick timeline, so if these new entities wish to participate they will need to act quickly to get a proposal to Mr. Bianco and Hartcourt. In general though, from those parties that have sent letters of intent some time ago with their research teams doing the appropriate "DD" in China, we are awaiting final proposals which we will compare and contrasts, enter another round of negotiations to gain leverage from each proposal and then decide the most advantageous underwriter as the lead, and as appropriate those for the secondary. Hartcourt envisions additional partnered services with the lead underwriter, and that has been conveyed as well.
