      Hallo,

falls noch jemand Geld übrig hat:

die Firma RAMTRON stellt FRAMs her.

@allRamtron Receives Record Order for Revolutionary FRAM Memory Product
      COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 2001--

FRAM Sales Poised for Growth as Company Receives $4.5-Million Order from Power Meter Manufacturing Subcontractor

Ramtron International Corporation (Nasdaq:RMTR), the leading developer of ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM) products, announced today that it has booked a $4.5-million order from a Chinese subcontract manufacturer that builds electronic power meters designed by Ampy Automation Digilog Ltd. The order is the largest FRAM production order in Ramtron`s history and brings the booked backlog to $6.1 million under a $65-million purchase agreement with Ampy Automation. The orders are scheduled to ship by the end of 2001.

"The $6.1 million in new FRAM orders in June is a record for Ramtron," said Bill Staunton, Ramtron CEO. "This major order and program validate our focus on growing FRAM product revenues by targeting applications that leverage FRAM features, as well as our design and product competencies. This strategy provides our customers with a competitive advantage, and based on these orders alone, we are on plan for more than 100% growth in FRAM product revenue this year."

In August 2000, Ramtron and Ampy signed a $65-million purchase agreement that called for the intended purchase of more than 33 million units of Ramtron`s FRAM memory products over a four-year period. Ampy is using FRAM memory to collect data in sophisticated electronic power meters.

"FRAM is the ideal nonvolatile memory solution for data collection and data logging applications," said Don Carrigan, Ramtron VP of sales. "Digital power meters represent only one data collection application, and this is only one power meter program. The potential opportunity for us is enormous. These new orders also confirm that our value-added sales strategy is beginning to pay off and is enabling us to grow our business despite tough market conditions."

FRAM`s unique ability to store data in the absence of power without performance limitations makes it the ideal memory for Ampy`s various digital power-metering products targeted at the growing worldwide market for more sophisticated utility distribution management. Other applications for Ramtron`s FRAM memory devices include smart cards, test instrumentation, factory automation, laser printers, security systems, and other systems that require reliable storage of data without an external power source.
