wenn sich die Technologie weiter so durchsetzt (wie am Anfang in Cnada) wird Imagis der absolute Knaller in Sachen Sicherheit.
Potenzial biete weltweit Polizei, Flughäfen, Prominentenveranstaltungen usw. Das KZ vom Aktionär wäre mit 20 Euro dann wahrscheinlich
nur der Anfang. Mein KZ kurzfristig liegt bei 5-6 Euro !

Beitrag aus dem Board von XNase mit Bitte um Meinungen:Imagis gab heute bekannt, daß die RCMP Abteilung in der Region um Vancouver in British Columbia erfolgreich gesuchte Kriminelle mit der ID-2000 Erkennungs-Software identifiziert hat.
Die Nord Vancouver-Abteilung nutzt das Imagis Arrest- und Buchungssystem, CABS TM, und richtete eine Datenbank mit mehr als 8000 Tätern ein. Die Abteilung wollte die Möglichkeiten einer schnellen und genauen Identifizierung von Kriminellen verbessern und installierte deshalb die ID-2000 TM Gesichts-Erkennungs-Software.
„ID-2000 war genau das, was wir suchten. Es hat unsere Möglichkeiten der Täteridentifizierung revolutioniert. Häufig genügt ein Bild, eine Photografie oder eine Zeugenzeichnung eines Gesichts. Nun können wir Menschen sehr schnell und sehr genau identifizieren“, sagte Sandy Ferris, forensische Identifizierungs-Technikerin. Beispielsweise war es uns durch die Nutzung von ID-2000 möglich, einen Täter zu identifizieren, der in unserer Datenbank noch unter drei anderen Namen gespeichert war. So fanden wir heraus, daß wir es mit einem und nicht mit vier Personen zu tun hatten. Wir haben außerdem aufgrund einer Zeugenzeichnungen von Straftätern diese identifizieren können“.

Bin auch in Imagis drin, schon eine ganze Weile. Nach den letzten Monaten frage ich mich manchmal jedoch wieso ;-). Woher kommen diese massiven Schwankungen der letzten Wochen, wer weiss darüber etwas ? Sind die kurz vor dem Ausbruch nach oben ?
Wenn ich ganz ehrlich bin, habe ich ziemlich wenig Ahnung von Aktien, aber die habe ich, weil ich einfach an die glaube, die kommen noch groß heraus.

Ein ungepflegter, bärtiger Drogenschmuggler wurde von der RCMP am Internationalen Flughafen von Toronto festgenommen und erkennungsdienstlich behandelt. Dabei wurden ihm Fingerabdrücke abgenommen und Fotos gemacht. Erst kürzlich wurde ein Verdächtiger fotografiert - glattrasiert und kurzhaarig – und später anhand einer Gesichtserkennungssoftware als der Drogenschmuggler vom Flughafen identifiziert.
Im Nord Vancouver entdeckte die gleiche Technologie in der Polizei-Datenbank einen Verbrecher der mit 3 weiteren Aliases geführt wurde, wo es sich um ein uns dieselbe Person handelte.
Diese Technology in Form einer Biometrie Software wird von der Imagis Technologie Inc. bereitgestellt, ein in Vancouver ansässiges Unternehmen. Biometrie ist die Fähigkeit, jemanden nur anhand von physischen Charakteristiken wie Fingerabdürcke, Iris, Stimme oder Gesichtszügen zu identifizieren. Das Desert Inn in Las Vegas und Gateway Casinos in BC, Canada nutzen die Software von Imagis in den Casinos, um ungebetene Gäste den Zutritt zu verweigern. Iain Drummond:“ Wir haben kürzlich einen Großauftrag aus Kalifornien in Höhe von 1.8 Mio $ erhalten, befinden uns in Verhandlungen mit dem FBI und haben eine Partner in Frankreich für den Vertrieb in Europa gewinnen können.“
