Message Boards rein gar nichts, nicht mal Shorties.

Sieht sehr schlecht aus.

Peregrine Systems (PRGN) shares are still down, currently off $5.56, or 22.3 percent, to $19.38. Melissa Eisenstat, an analyst with CIBC World Markets, said the selling was related to two concerns about the company`s ability to meet its revenue goal, which CIBC puts at $145 million. According to Eisenstat, the first concern is Peregrine`s exposure in Europe, where up to 35 percent of the revenue it books in the region could be affected by the weak euro. The second concern relates to the company`s integration of its acquisition of Harbinger, which Eisenstat believes may prevent there being much upside to Wall Street earnings views. Eisenstat remains "comfortable" with expectations for a profit of 11 cents a share. Thomas Smith, Peregrine`s senior vice president of global marketing, attributed the drop in the share price to a typo in a Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown morning research note. The note inadvertently included Peregrine’s ticker in a discussion about the tough environment for mainframe software makers. Smith noted that the note came form an analyst that didn`t actually cover the company and that, subsequnetly, a correction had been issued. Peregrine shares sank as low as $16.31 earlier in the session.
