Starnet Announces First Land-Based Casino Licensee and First Latin American Market Licensee

ST. JOHNS, Antigua--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2000--Starnet Communications International Inc. (OTC-BB: ``SNMM``) (``Starnet``), an online provider of interactive media and information systems and a recognized leader in Internet gaming, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Starnet Systems International Inc. (``Starnet Systems``) has entered into agreements to license its proprietary Internet gaming technologies to Casino Riviera in Antigua, a land-based casino owned by Victor Chandler, one of the world`s largest gaming companies, and Latin American Entertainment, an Internet marketing group based in Mexico City that targets Spanish speakers and intends to build the largest Latin American gaming portal where it will feature popular Mexican division one soccer leagues.
In accordance with these agreements, Starnet will provide Casino Riviera and Latin American Entertainment with an Internet casino and sportsbook. Pari-mutuel wagering and lottery capabilities will also be provided, once available.

By providing content to land-based casinos, we are building a new distribution channel for our products and services.
