Samara Svyazinform gets NEWEX listing
Samara Svyazinform has completed preliminary consulta-tions
with representatives of the NEWEX exchange for
quotation of the company`s ADRs in its NX.PLUS listing.
The company says that its Level-1 ADRs will start to trade
in Section 2 of the non-regulated NEWEX exchange at the
start of November this year.
Rostelecom predicts stagnant profits
The managing director of Rostelecom said that the com-pany
expects pre-tax profits for 2000 to be roughly equal
to 1999, when the pre-tax figure was R3.356bn. Growth in
traffic for 2000 is also expected to match its 1999 level of
20%. Internet access is expected to be up by three times
from last year, and revenues from internet access are pre-dicted
to double. The company plans to spend $90-100m
on repayment of foreign credits in 2001, and this will use up
most of its 2000 profit.

Allein schon die Tatsache daß Samara Svyazinform zu den 4 russischen Unternehmen gehört die im Qualitätssegment "Nx plus" gelistet werden war Grund für mich zu kaufen. Selbst Surgut ist vorerst nur im normalen Standardsegment gelistet und nimmt die höheren Anforderungen für eine Aufnahme ins Top-Segment nicht war.
Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm sag ich da nur ....
