Also: Kein Grund zur Panik.
Warum?
Weil ich Juniper und JDS gekauft habe.
Kann gar nicht weiter runtergehen. :O

Chinadotcom expected to post Q3 revenue of US$35mln
By Tony Munroe
HONG KONG, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Chinadotcom Corp (NasdaqNM:CHINA - news), a bellwether Asia-focused web portal and Internet services firm, is expected to post revenue gains of roughly 15 percent from the previous quarter and a slightly wider loss when it reports third quarter results later on Thursday.
One analyst called it a sign of Chinadotcom`s relative maturity -- as well as its diverse business mix -- that its growth rate is modest, at least in Internet terms.
``Whenever you get to their size it becomes a lot more difficult to pile on the revenue gains,`` said Stephen McKeever of Lehman Brothers.
Analysts surveyed by Reuters forecast, on average, revenue of about US$34.7 million and a net loss of US$15.8 million, as online advertising spending slowed in the quarter across the industry.
Also, Chinadotcom generates roughly half its sales from its business consulting service, an industry that typically grows at rates that are slower than Internet speed, analysts said.
Jasmine Koh of UBS Warburg said, ``this is a slow quarter for everyone ... the advertising side has not been that good all around.``
Of five analysts surveyed, revenue projections ranged from US$33.4 million to US$36.2 million, and net loss forecasts ranged from US$13.7 million to US$18 million.
Chinadotcom is set to release its results at 8 p.m. (1200 GMT) ahead of the Nasdaq open.
In August Chinadotcom reported a second quarter net loss of US$14.6 million on revenue of $30.3 million. In the year-ago quarter, the company posted revenue of US$5.2 million.
INTERNET CONGLOMERATE
Chinadotcom, described by some as an ``Internet conglomerate,`` was the first of several China-focused Internet firms to list on the Nasdaq when it went public in July 1999.
The Hong Kong-based firm is considered better-positioned than its Asian Internet rivals given the diversity of its businesses, which consist of a consumer portal unit, online advertising network, and web consulting service.
``They were very early movers, and they managed to stake themselves very broadly on the Internet sector across Asia,`` said Matthew Adams, senior associate at Credit Suisse First Boston, which has a ``buy`` rating and 12-month target of US$25.50 for the stock.
Analysts will closely watch the progress of Chinadotcom`s Web Connection e-commerce consulting business, which competes with the likes of U.S. giants Sapient Corp (NasdaqNM:SAPE - news), Scient Corp (NasdaqNM:SCNT - news) and Razorfish Inc (NasdaqNM:RAZF - news).
``The most important thing we`re looking at is the revenue growth at Web Connection, because that seems to be the most sustainable and cash-flow positive business they`re running,`` said Prudential Securities analyst Sanjeet Devgan.
Added Lehman`s McKeever, ``it`s a consulting-type model, and essentially growth depends on the numbers of bodies you can gainfully employ, and the sorts of margins you can get.``
Company-watchers will also look at how Chinadotcom controls costs. In August, the firm cut 48 jobs in mainland China.
Chinadotcom timed its IPO almost perfectly to ride the U.S. Internet stock rocket last year, and peaked at US$78 in March. Like its peers the firm`s stock is now relatively earthbound, and closed on Tuesday at US$12.31 on the Nasdaq.
Still, thanks to its IPO and a subsequent offering the company was sitting on roughly US$465 million in cash as of early October, rendering the question of its cash ``burn rate`` -- a measure of how quickly money-losing web firms are using up cash -- to be mostly moot, analysts said.

Sell on halbwegs good news.

@ AL,
alles scheiß egal...
Viel wichtiger: Habe heute Notar-Termin.
