      MAJOR NORDIC INITIATIVE WITH TELENOR

Yes Television plc and Telenor announce that the two companies have signed a letter of intent to deliver a "total television" interactive service throughout the Nordic region.

The commercial framework will involve the establishment of a joint venture company that will operate the service in the Nordic region. Yes Television will provide software and associated applications for a VOD service, whilst Telenor will provide the broadband cable network for distribution and content.

Thomas Kressner, Chairman and CEO of Yes Television, commented:

"This is an exciting development for us in a region where customers expect the highest quality technology. We are delighted that we are the partner of choice and we will have the opportunity to develop this "total television" service with Telenor over their broadband networks."

Stig Eide Sivertsen, CEO of Telenor Broadband Services, commenting from Telenor said:

"We have in Yes Television the leading service provider of VOD and interactive programming and look forward to developing with them a framework for interactive total television throughout the Nordic region. The co-operation with Yes Television will also strengthen and complete our existing operation in the Nordic region."

Yes Television - VOD and Internet over cable and ADSL
We visited Yes Television at the "company flat" in the Chiswick section of West London, so we could see the live service they are operating as a pilot market trial with BT. Steve Garvey, Yes Television Head of Marketing, demonstrated the services and shared his thoughts on the company`s current work and future plans.

Their co-branded "BT Yes Television" service has true video on demand (VOD), email and open Internet access. The system operates through a digital set-top box to the customer`s TV, and uses an ADSL modem carrying MPEG-coded video at 2.3 Mbps over TCP/IP (similar to a VOD trial in the early 1990s by Bell Atlantic).

The BT Yes Television pilot, available in two sections of West London, is intended to reach 400 homes, and is scheduled to run "until at least the end of September." Their attractive VOD service includes a wide range of films, TV hits, and music videos, well packaged in a slick magazine-format guide. Pricing is 15 pounds (about $23) per month for the "basic" service, and 20 pounds (about $30) for the "Entertainment Package" which includes two movies a month. Current movie titles are 3 pounds (about $4.50) each.

Unfortunately, BT`s ADSL pricing structure puts the economics of this business wildly out of whack. YesTV can`t scale up the business when the costs for providing the service (mostly payments to BT) far exceed what it is charging for it.

Full-screen television requires at least 2 Mbps for reasonable "VCR-like" quality. BT has been loath to offer a consumer-priced ADSL service at this speed for fear of cannibalizing its revenue from E1 private line services. Until competition forces a radical downward revision in ADSL pricing, and an upward revision in speed, it will not be economically feasible to offer VOD over ADSL in the UK. Most UK observers believe that this will not happen until the UK market is opened to competition during the summer of 2001. Thus the trial is mainly for Yes Television and BT to gather marketing information on usage and pricing, not in preparation for a near-term service rollout.

With much of its home market effectively blocked by BT`s ADSL pricing, Yes Television is targeting other markets. It recently announced plans to offer its "Total Television" product (which adds broadcast TV to the VOD and Internet services) in Ireland, Iceland, France, and the Nordic region. These will use a variety of broadband access technologies, including ADSL (at 2 to 5 mbps), cable, and fiber optics. Like many service providers, bundled services are the goal toward which Yes Television is moving.

      Man bedenke:
      1) Auslieferungsbeginn: Mai 2001
      2) Vertragsdauer: zunächst 12 Monate
      3) Abnahme: mind. 100 000 Stück

      ....

GMi DIGITAL AND YES TELEVISION AGREE TO CO-OPERATE TO
DELIVER INTERACTIVE TELEVISION SERVICES IN ICELAND

Iceland`s GMi Digital and the British company Yes Television have agreed to
co-operate in order to deliver interactive television services in Iceland.

The two companies intend to establish a new company, which will build and
operate interactive television services to all homes in Iceland.

Yes Television will supply technical expertise alongside Icelandic engineers,
computer scientists and technicians to provide applications for video on
demand (VOD), broadcast television, Internet access and e-mail to the
television set. The companies intend to use the existing telecommunication
infrastructure that is available in Iceland such as ADSL and fiber optic
cables to deliver services to the homes.

Thomas Kressner, Chairman and Chief Executive of Yes Television,
      commented:

"The opportunities in Iceland for our Total Television product are very
attractive since Icelanders are keen on new technology and home
entertainment. Bandwidth to Icelandic homes is also in plentiful supply,
making it possible for us to deliver high quality on demand services to the
      customer."

Sveinbjorn Imsland, Chairman and technical director at GMi, commented:

"After careful consideration we decided to co-operate with Yes Television to
deliver interactive television services in Iceland. The reason is that Yes
Television is a leading company in the development of VOD and other
interactive services and has gained valuable experience from other projects
they have participated in. The co-operation with Yes Television will
strengthen the development of interactive television services in Iceland."

      30th November 2000

      TransACT and Total Television
      Australia join forces to bring
      interactive television to 100,000
      homes in the ACT

Australia: Canberra-based broadband company, TransACT Capital
Communications and Australian interactive television pioneers, Total
Television Australia Limited (TTA), announced today a joint agreement for
TTA to provide a new generation of content over TransACT`s fibre-optic
      network.

Total Television Australia plans to offer TransACT customers true Video On
Demand (VOD), enabling viewers to select and watch their favourite
programmes in an instant. Viewers will be able to pause, rewind or
fast-forward a programme in the same way as a videotape with unlimited
plays over a 24-hour period. VOD is planned to be combined with enhanced
TV Internet, TV e-mail, e-commerce and broadcast television channels on
      standard television sets.

The new service will be offered to more than 100,000 homes and businesses
throughout the ACT, as TransACT rolls out its new fibre-optic broadband by
mid 2002. The first services are planned to be offered early in 2001 when
TransACT begins connecting homes to the network.

TransACT Communications Chief Executive Officer Richard Vincent said
Total Television will provide a unique service to TransACT customers that the
rest of the country will be truly envious about.

"This venture will fully exploit the enormous potential of the TransACT
broadband network and gives television viewers the flexibility to watch what
they want, when they want not when the traditional networks want them
      to," said Mr Vincent.

CableandTelecoms Chief Executive, Mr Geoff Babidge, on behalf of Total
Television Australia said, "We are delighted to be part of TransACT`s
exciting plans for their broadband network. This agreement is the first of
Total television`s plans for commercial rollout of our services.

"Our strategy has always been to leverage much of the existing
telecommunication infrastructure that is available in Australia such as ADSL
and fibre optic cables to deliver our services to the home. We`re very excited
to be bringing this innovative and revolutionary technology to subscribers in
      Canberra"

      About Total Television

Australia`s leading Interactive Television provider Total Television Australia
plans to provide interactive digital television services - including true video on
demand (VOD) and Internet to television - across Australia and New
      Zealand.

Total Television Australia is a joint venture company between
CommVergence company CableandTelecoms (CaT) with Yes Television, a
leading broadband solutions provider for interactive television based in the
      UK.

Through the use of a sophisticated, state-of-the art technology platform
developed by Yes Television, Total Television Australia plans to deliver a
highly flexible solution offering a range of VOD, Internet, e-commerce and
e-mail services to its customers using broadband Internet technology. The
service operates over both DSL telephony and cable networks, enabling
network operators and pay-TV operators to deploy interactive TV rapidly in
      their markets.

True VOD as offered by Total Television Australia, enablers viewers to watch
what they want, when they want, using functions normally associated with a
VCR - such as pause, stop, play, fast forward and rewind.

Total Television Australia intends to leverage much of the existing
telecommunication infrastructure that is available in Australia such as ADSL
and fibre optic cables to deliver services to the home. The scheduled
timeframe for Stage one of commercial deployment of the service is in the
first quarter of 2001 in Melbourne and Canberra, to be followed by a
progressive rollout to the rest of Australia and New Zealand.

      About CableandTelecoms

CableandTelecoms (CaT), has emerged from the recent restructure of
      Cambridge Consolidated NL.

CableandTelecoms does not equate telecommunications with pure
telephony. It has a vision to marry convergent technologies and
telecommunications to deliver a cable-to-content solution to subscribers.

This vision looks to provide delivery of full service telecommunications and
e-commerce, interactive entertainment, and virtual education.

And CaT will focus on providing innovative integrated broadband content over
cost competitive emerging next generation networks in Australia and
      selected offshore markets.

      About TransACT Communications:

Over the next two years, TransACT Capital Communications will be
undertaking the rollout of a fibre-optic, full service digital broadband network,
across Canberra, connecting more than 100,000 homes and businesses.

TransACTs single cable will be strung from the existing power poles, with
optical fibre being taken to within 300 metres of each home or business, and
in most cases much less. High quality copper cable will be connected over
the last few metres giving each home or business a dedicated 52-megabit
      asymmetrical connection.
