of natural gas contracts, and owning a well logging company specializing in analysis of wells.
Prior to becoming involved in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Bagley was employed by the United States government with the
Agriculture Department. Mr. Bagley attended Ohio University and Salem College, earning a B.S. Degree.

ST. MARYS, W.Va., Dec 11, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Trans Energy, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TSRG)
announced today that the Nolan #4 has been placed in production and is producing into the company`s gathering and
transportation pipeline system. Initial production is at a rate of 65 mcf per day while maintaining a 1575 psi wellhead
pressure.
Chairman and CEO, Loren E. Bagley stated, "We are pleased with the initial production of the Nolan #4. It is a mirror
image of the Nolan #2 and Nolan #3. This production volume meets our expectations for this type of Benson Sand
well, and should average a 20:1 return on investment over the economic life of the well."
