      Repeater produziert eine Technik, mit der die Reichweite drahtloser Netzwerke vergrößert werden kann.

      Mobilfunkbetreiber können so enorme Kosten sparen, weil sie weniger Basisstationen brauchen.

      Der Emissionspreis lag (am 9. August) bei 9 Dollar.
      Dann präsentierte Repeater Zahlen, die hinter den Erwartungen zurückblieben: Viele Aufträge sollen erst 2001 ergebniswirksam werden.

      Der Börsenkurs ging deshalb kräftig in den Keller.

      Nun wurden personelle Konsequenzen gezogen (s.u.).

      Durch ein besseres Umfeld (Nasdaq) und bessere Zahlen könnte der "turnaround" bevorstehen ...

      Repeater Technologies Announces Management Change

      SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Dec. 11, 2000-Repeater Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:
      RPTR) today announced a change in senior management. After over six
      years of service to the Company, Kenneth Kenitzer has announced his
      resignation as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kenitzer, who
      developed the Company into a business with over $20 million in
      annualized revenues, also resigned from the Board of Directors but will
      remain available as a consultant to the Company for strategic
      assignments.

      Chris Branscum, Chairman of the Company`s Board of Directors, remarked,
      "The Board and the Company are appreciative of Ken`s contributions to
      the Company. We wish him the best in his future endeavors." In his
      place, the Company has appointed its Chief Financial Officer, Tim
      Marcotte, to the additional position of Chief Operating Officer, where
      he will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Company. In
      addition, the Board named a two-person Executive Committee of the Board,
      consisting of Chris Branscum and John Bosch, to oversee and provide
      support to the management of the Company on an interim basis until a
      permanent CEO replacement is appointed. Mr. Branscum will also serve as
      the CEO and President of the Company on an interim basis, in conjunction
      with his role on the Executive Committee.

      Tim Marcotte has been the Company`s Chief Financial Officer since
      November 1999. He has previously served in senior management positions
      over a 19-year professional career at Sunrise Technologies
      International, Inc., IRIDEX Corporation, Now Software, Inc., and Altos
      Computer Systems and has been a member of the board of directors of
      public and private companies.

      Repeater Technologies, headquartered in Sunnyvale, Calif., develops,
      markets and sells wireless coverage enhancement solutions primarily to
      wireless service providers. The Company provides cost-effective,

      Inzwischen hat sich Repeater schon fast verdoppelt.

      Scheint aber keinen zu interessieren?
      Dabei wird sich Repeater weiter vervielfachen.

      Aktien, die zum Jahresende 2000 aus "Steuergründen" verschleudert wurden, laufen prima.
      Weitere Beispiele:
