TSIG.com Reports Fourth Quarter Membership Sales
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--Jan. 18, 2001-- TeleServices Internet Group Inc., also known as TSIG.com, today announced that net sales of The Affinity Group`s Membership Programs grew to 70,691 (unaudited) in the fourth quarter of 2000, compared to 9,791 in the fourth quarter of 1999. As previously announced, 12,350 of the new membership sales were generated over the Internet.
The 70,691 sales were derived from three types of membership club programs. 46,082 were travel membership clubs, 18,000 were mini-vacation programs, and 6,609 were buyer`s clubs. These club memberships, each of which costs the consumer approximately $100 annually, are designed to offer the best products, to the most customers, for the lowest customer acquisition cost in the industry.
