MTV`s First Dramatic Series Proves a Smash Hit in the Global Marketplace with Sales in Over 45 Countries, Easily Covering TEAM`s Initial Financial Commitment
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2001-- TEAM International, the worldwide sales of arm of TEAM Communications Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:TMTV - news; Neuer Markt:TME) continues to sign significant licensing agreements for MTV`s Live Through This. The one-hour dramatic series, a first for MTV, has been licensed to FlexTech in the U.K., AB SAT for all French speaking territories (excluding Quebec), DARO for Eastern Europe, Turkey, Portugal, Greece, Africa and CIS/Baltics, Holland Media (Filmlux)/Holland and Luxembourg, TV4 Sweden, and TV2 Denmark. Additional sales include S.P.I. International for Israel and Showtime in the Middle East. Drew S. Levin, TEAM Chairman and CEO made the announcement today.
