What is the latest news on the financial re-structuring?
On February 6th, LetsBuyIt.com N.V. announced the successful closing of the last round of financing. Investor commitments in excess of 52 million Euros have been received from existing shareholders and new investors. The moratorium granted to our holding company in the Netherlands on December 29th, was lifted on February 21st. Therefore, we have now been able to resume operations.

I am waiting for a refund. Where is it?
Now the moratorium has been lifted it is our first priority to ensure you receive your money back as soon as possible. To ensure the smoothest, most secure method of refunding, we will be crediting your debit or credit card account. Once this process has begun we will contact you with more details.

I bought a product before the moratorium and I’m still waiting for it to be delivered. Where is it?
Due to the moratorium, all operations had to be suspended. This included the dispatch of products. Now the moratorium has been lifted, we can resume normal operations. However, we are no longer able to source the product you ordered. You will receive a full refund at the earliest possible date. We apologize for the unacceptable delay and the inconvenience.

I joined a co-buy that had not closed before December 29th, 2000. Will I receive the product?
Unfortunately not. Co-buys that had not closed by the time the moratorium was granted did not close successfully. Your credit/debit card will not be charged.

I want to return my product/receive a substitute product. What do I do?
Please contact us at [e-mail], clearly stating your order reference number in the subject line and providing a contact telephone number. If your product is wrong, damaged or defective, it will be picked up at the earliest possible date. We apologize in advance for possible delays.

Why haven`t I received a reply to my call/mail? Due to the backlog of enquiries caused by the moratorium there may be delays in answering queries. Our customer service team is busy tackling the backlog and we hope to be in touch soon. For the time being it would help us greatly if you contact us by email only.

When can I buy something?
From Monday 26th February. We might not have a spectacular range of co-buys immediately but bear with us as we build up the collection.

How can I be sure it’s safe to buy?
It is perfectly safe to buy. LetsBuyIt.com is on a very firm financial footing. Additional investment of over £30 million has been secured which should see the company to profitability. LetsBuyIt.com is a publicly owned company which floated on the German stock exchange last year and is subject to the same rules and controls as any other public company. The moratorium, whilst frustrating for all concerned, was an example of a company acting in the best interests of its creditors, which include individual shareholders and customers.
