      Guten Tag,

Friday February 16, 2:53 pm Eastern Time
      Press Release
      Intasys : An Update
MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2001--Intasys Corporation (the ``Company``) (NASDAQ:INTA - news) announced that it has opted not to proceed at this time with the financing announced on December 21, 2000.

Steve Saviuk, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, cited recent market conditions as the reason, adding that, while additional equity financing will be considered in the future, the company currently has sufficient funds for its operating needs.

Mr. Saviuk continued: ``This decision will not impact upon the growth and profitability goals set for our operations in 2001. Our operating units, Mamma.com Inc. and Tece, Inc. are presently self sufficient and require no further funding at this time. Our telecoms billing and customer care division, Noha Systems is currently enjoying continued growth with profitability projected for later this year.

The past year has seen shareholder value fluctuate wildly as the market`s valuation and perception of technology companies has changed dramatically. Management must rebuild that value through traditional means, emphasizing growth and profitability in our operating companies and continued cost cutting measures at corporate head office.

This increased focus on our operating companies necessitates a moratorium on any further investments by our venture capital division. Our venture portfolio is under review with a plan of action being developed with respect to each investment``, Saviuk concluded.

On another note, the minimum bid price of its common shares has fallen below $1.00 for 30 consecutive days. In accordance with Nasdaq® Rules, the Company has been provided until April 5th, 2001 to regain compliance or face possible delisting of the Company`s stock from the Nasdaq® Small Cap Market(TM), alternatively, the Company would trade on the OTC Bulletin Board. The Company is exploring various options available it in this regard.

      Good luck

      @e-trader,

      Good luck
