On 1 March 2001 Elgrande.com, Inc. (Elgrande) signed a Terms of Agreement for a $5,000,000 Equity Line of Credit. Preparation of the underlying Equity Line documents is proceeding on schedule. Elgrande expects to sign off and start the SEC registration process within the next three weeks.
Elgrande is actively pursuing short term financing opportunities within the USA and Europe. In support of this activity a committee of the Board of Directors of Elgrande, headed by Michael Holloran, President and CEO, is scheduled to travel to Germany for the week of 18 March to meet with potential investors and to investigate listing Elgrande on the Frankfurt exchange.
"With the potential to access significant equity over the coming months, we have stepped up our corporate development activity and are moving forward with the next generation of our ShopEngine(TM) e-commerce platform and with our plans for expansion into Asian Markets. We are actively negotiating to secure a development partnership with a major software and hardware supplier and are planning to visit potential Japanese partners in April," stated Mr. Holloran, President and CEO.
