All of you who trade with Level 2 quotes know of its importance -- in fact, many of you probably feel blind when trading without it; I know that I do at least. Level 2 quotes not only expose the trader to the leading bid and ask on a stock; they expose the trader to the entire market maker lineup. While this approach may be feasible for the very active trader, most investors are not classified as full-time traders (especially after this past year`s dismal market activity). Regardless, all of us value our money and strive to get good value for our hard earned money.
