PALO ALTO, Calif., Apr 23, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Amnis Systems, Inc., (formerly Optivision, Inc.), a leading global provider of networked streaming video systems, today announced that its MPEG streaming video products will be demonstrated in the Marconi booth at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Convention in Las Vegas this month. The booth will include a broadband network based solution for content production, management and distribution integrated with Amnis` network attached streaming video over IP products.



Marconi will demonstrate a group of managed services offered to the television, film, and entertainment industries that reduces in-process costs, increases production speed and efficiency and provides vastly superior opportunities for distributed creative collaboration in the production of compelling electronic entertainment. The Collaborative Production Solution incorporating Amnis products will provide a comprehensive set of production applications for the entertainment and media industry including digital dailies, high speed file transfers and remote video collaboration.
