      @all

      BVSN hat bekannt gegeben dass Sie bis Ende des Jahres wieder schwarze Zahlen schreiben werden und keine Mittarbeiter mehr entlassen werden. Mit dem Walmart deal und dem neuen Softwarprodukt gibts für BVSN keine halt mehr nach obenen und wir werden bald eine Kurs von 20-30 Euro sehen dass steht zur Zeit noch in der Luft, aber wenn BVSN wieder mal Nachbörslich anzieht werden die anderen mit der Welle des Erfolges mitlaufen und BVSN immer billigst ordern und wir fahren mit dem Kurs 200% oder mehr nach oben.

      BroadVision Stocks Up Momentum With Grocery Retailers; BroadVision Retail Commerce is Solution of Choice Among Grocers for Increased Revenue and Improved Efficiency

      REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, MAY 11, 2001 (CCN Newswire via COMTEX) -- BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), a leading provider of personalized e-business applications, today announced that established grocery and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies are adopting BroadVision Retail Commerce(TM) to power their online initiatives. BroadVision Retail Commerce offers industry-leading e-marketing, e-selling and e-customer care features designed to help retailers build and maintain profitable, lifetime relationships with their customers. BroadVision Retail Commerce and other BroadVision e-business applications are being used by customers in many parts of the grocery value chain -- from CPG companies to distributors to grocers to consumers. BroadVision`s strong momentum in this market is represented by a list of global CPG and grocery industry customers -- including Barilla, Wine and Co., Akita Fishery, LeShop.ch, Sam`s Club, ASDA and Cafe Mumbai.com -- as well as key grocery and CPG partnerships with NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) and InformLink.
      Leading Grocery Retailers Embrace BroadVision

      Many top grocery retailers are taking advantage of BroadVision Retail Commerce to quickly build and easily maintain a successful retail web presence. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., the world`s largest retailer, uses BroadVision`s e-business applications for its Internet initiatives www.samsclub.com and www.asda.co.uk. The Barilla Group, one of the most important brand names in Italy, also has selected BroadVision software to power its Internet portal for global catering professionals and consumers. LeShop.ch, Switzerland`s first virtual supermarket and Germany`s number one online grocer (according to com! online magazine), uses BroadVision to personalize each customer`s experience, making shopping easier and more enjoyable. The results are impressive -- every sixth shopper visiting LeShop.ch for the first time purchases an item and 75 percent of revenues come from repeat customers.

      Other online grocers and CPG companies take advantage of "out-of-the-box" features of BroadVision Retail Commerce that allow them to streamline logistics and delivery and to reduce inventory costs. For example, BroadVision`s matching engine can help grocers more effectively manage product shelf life, by using this feature to alert the retailer as perishable goods age. Grocers can also use the powerful analytical tools in BroadVision Retail Commerce to aggregate point-of-sale (POS) and online data to drive more effective marketing campaigns.

      "The powerful functionality of BroadVision Retail Commerce enabled us to create the ASDA @ Home multi-channel grocery home delivery service to support our brand themes of value, simplicity, and service," said Iain Spence, development director for ASDA @ Home. "BroadVision`s powerful applications and support make the company a trusted commerce partner and one we will look to again as we move other parts of our business to the web."

      "Marketing, selling, and servicing products via the Internet can help grocery retailers increase sales volume, reach new markets, improve customer loyalty, and enhance profitability," said Drew Bartkiewicz, vice president of BroadVision`s industry solutions group. "BroadVision Retail Commerce enables grocery retailers to tailor offerings for each customer in terms of choice, price, and availability, promoting stronger customer relationships and increasing the lifetime value of those customers."

      Point of Sale Applications for Improved Profitability

      BroadVision has further enhanced its solutions for the grocery and CPG markets by working with NCR and InformLink. BroadVision`s relationship with NCR, a leader in retail analytics, data warehousing and point of sale solutions, enables grocers to improve profitability through increased customer loyalty, reduced transaction costs and improved marketing and sales effectiveness. The BroadVision/NCR solution provides a single, comprehensive view of customers to coordinate marketing and services via mail, web or wireless. The BroadVision/NCR solution also lets retailers take advantage of Teradata database and analytical software that can be used to provide shoppers with relevant offers and services. For example, for customers who take part in a loyalty shopper program, the grocer may pay a percentage of the transaction to the customer`s favorite school or charity or the grocer can present targeted marketing messages or electronic coupons -- all personalized by BroadVision in real time. Customers could also be presented with personalized e-mail promotions with links to the grocer`s site, offering specific discounts on goods relevant to the customer`s individual buying patterns.

      Integrated Real-Time Promotion Capabilities

      BroadVision also has integrated BroadVision Retail Commerce with InformLink`s real time online couponing and promotion capabilities. As consumers browse through the aisles of online grocery stores and decide what to put in their shopping carts, the BroadVision/InformLink solution can deliver targeted coupons, rebates, cross-sell and up-sell offers to consumers that generate incremental sales. Consumers benefit from value-oriented, personalized discounts that are redeemable with a single click. Marketers benefit from the ability to cross-sell their own brands and the opportunity to target offers to specific customers. Retailers benefit from incremental grocery sales -- the result of marketers` merchandising expertise and targeted application of promotion dollars. The BroadVision/InformLink solution can help retailers increase average order size and customer repeat order rate. By integrating InformLink`s promotional tools with BroadVision Retail Commerce, grocery retailers have everything they need for successful online retailing, while speeding time-to-market for their Internet initiatives.
