      World Gaming plc (WGMGY)

         By John M. Dutton
            May 29, 2001

World Gaming Plc (nee Starnet Communications) Sets First Stage of UK Debut

Starnet Communications under its new CEO Mike Aymong announced today that its reincorporation in the UK is now effective. Its new ADR shares will continue to trade in the US`s OTCBB markets under the symbol WGMGY. The ratio of ADRs to current shares outstanding is 1 to 1, thus it will not at all effect the number of shares each shareholder owns.

We are preparing to release our Quarterly Update report on World Gaming (Starnet). Some of our conclusions that we maintain in our Update are:

"We rate the shares of Starnet International (World Gaming plc) a strong speculative buy for accounts with high risk tolerance. There are several reasons for this conclusion.

      1. World Gaming plc`s licensees have shown a strong resilience and loyalty during these past two years. Their casino and sports book business, as well as those of the industry, continue to experience substantial growth. As a result, licensees continue to produce a steady stream of increasing revenues for World Gaming plc.

      2. High margins and high revenue growth has allowed World Gaming plc to claw its way back to close to profitability. Based on comparable company operating margins, World Gaming plc can reduce its total expenses another 20% as a percent of revenues, or alternatively, expenses from here should grow at a rate substantially less than that of sales.

      3. We believe that the legal difficulties facing World Gaming plc, namely the RCMP investigation commenced August 1999 and the class action suite, are resolvable.

      4. The "industry" is receiving significantly more favorable attention with Nevada expected to approve Internet casino gambling by the end of the legislature`s current June 4 term.

      5. The Board has at last elected a strong and marketing oriented CEO. CEO Michael Aymong (36) is from GT Group Telecom Inc. (its A and B shares trade TSE: GTG.A or .B, and its B shares also trade NASDAQ: GTTLB). He served as its Executive Vice President-Sales and Marketing. GT Group Telecom, from acquisitions and customer growth, had revenues in its latest fiscal year (9/00) of C$73.3 million as compared to C$2.7 million in the prior year, with much of the growth recorded from acquisitions late in the fiscal year. Building a nationwide communications network and this rapid expansion resulted in GT having a negative EBITDA for its most recent year of C$(56.8) million. GT had incurred by fiscal year end C$953 million of debt to acquire and build its communications system. Revenues in Q1 (12/00) increased to C$39.9 million vs. C$32.2 million in its previous quarter, Q4. It has Canadian and US investment banking assistance from CBIC and Goldman Sachs & Co.

      6. The pieces of World Gaming are worth significantly more than the market cap accorded the company presently in light of its current problems. The Company`s sports book operations, provided through its licensees, is by size one of the majors in the second tier. First tier firms include, among others, William Hill, Victor Chandler, and Ladbrokes. World Gaming`s sports book revenues are, we estimate, larger than Sportingbet.com (LSE: SBT) that was valued post IPO financing at US$155.7 in January 2001. SBT trades on the London Stock Exchange`s AIM market with a current market cap of US$212.3 million. While neither firm is profitable for different reasons, SBT`s valuation still contrasts to Starnet`s market cap of $21 million.

      7. Q3 2001 Revenues Show Good Growth: Revenues gained 44% in Q3 over last year`s Q3, and a 17% increase over 2001`s Q2. Starnet also discloses "system wide" revenues that, for the most part, represent the net gaming revenues of licensees. For the third quarter, Starnet "system" revenues were up 40% over 2001 Q2 and 60% over 2000 Q3.

Vermutlich

World Gaming (WGMGY) Announces Key Transaction With Its Largest Licensee
      By John M. Dutton
June 16, 2001. World Gaming announced the conversion into equity of the $1.5 million loan made to it last year by its largest licensee, Internet Opportunity, which operates see www.sportsbook, com, www.playersonly.com, and www.acescasino.com. Additionally, Internet Opportunity agreed to exclusively utilize World Gaming software through August 2004. This conversion improves the balance sheet, removing the only long term debt. The move was strategically significant. It locks in its largest licensee, although it had previously signaled its support with the loan. However, with the defection of Golden Palace from Micro Gaming, which was its largest licensee, the competitive attention to Internet Opportunity had probably been intense since the RCMO raid two years ago. We maintain a speculative strong buy recommendation on the shares
