Quelle: http://www.etradeaustralia.com.au/Products/InvestorRelations…
Also, good bye = Guten Einkauf !

E*Trade Australia loss narrows
SYDNEY, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Online financial services group E*Trade Australia Ltd reported a half year net loss on Monday of A$8.3 million compared with a loss of A$26.1 million for the same period a year ago.
"The combined impact on overheads of all our cost cutting initiatives is budgeted to save us more than A$10 million in the current financial year," E*trade chief executive Michael Deleray said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange.
He added that the company had started 2002 strongly, with its best brokerage and trading results since July, 2000.
Revenues improved 5.2 percent to A$9.1 million while cost cutting initiatives helped slash operating expenses by half.
Deleray said the group was cash flow positive for the half year, while gross brokerage revenues rose 11.2 percent.
The company`s share of trades on the Australian Stock Exchange was 3.5 percent in January 2002, compared with an average 2.9 percent for the six months to end-December, 2001.
The result included almost A$8 million in one-off costs, mainly A$2.9 million spent on growing an alliance with ANZ Bank ANZ.AX, and a A$4.96 million write-down after the restructure of a licencing agreement with E*Trade Group Inc ET.N.
E*Trade Group has a 7.5 percent stake in E*Trade Australia.
E*Trade shares closed down a cent at 54 cents in a softer overall market
Hoffen wir das Beste !

E*Trade says ANZ now holds 35 pct stake
ADVERTISEMENT
SYDNEY, April 3 (Reuters) - Online financial services group E*Trade Australia Ltd said on Wednesday ANZ Banking Group had increased its stake in the company to 35 percent from 28.3 percent in line with their co-branding deal.
However, E*Trade said it did not anticipate any more non-cash shares issues.
ANZ had the right to be issued up to 35 percent of shares in E*Trade in return for selling co-branded services to its customers, as well as potentially earning a bonus of a further five percent later this year, depending on trading volumes.
"March 2002 should bring an end to the process of significant non-cash share issues that negatively impact the profit and loss account but do not impact on our cash position," E*Trade group chief executive Michael Deleray said in a statement.
The share issues over the past three years, in line with a deal signed in 1999, had complicated explanations of E*Trade`s underlying operating performance, he said.
E*Trade`s accounting policy was to write off the deemed value of these shares as a marketing expense.
E*Trade shares were steady at A$0.57 in early afternoon trading in a flat overall market.
