ROCKLIN, Calif., Aug 16, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Peabodys Coffee Inc.
(OTCBB: PBDY) announced that the company has entered into an agreement to provide
a specialty coffee operation at Riverside County Regional Medical Center
("RCRMC") in Southern California. Located in Moreno Valley, CA, the company will
commence operations at RCRMC effective August 16, 2001.
Cliff Young, President/CEO of Peabodys said, "This is another great location for
us that fits nicely with our core business strategy and increases our operating
efficiencies by adding another site to our existing cluster of units in the
Inland Empire. Clustering is key to our success, when we have opportunities to
add quality units in existing markets, we jump all over them."
Chairman Todd Tkachuk commented, "With the addition of RCRMC we gain another key
site with a great client -- all in an existing market. This follows our script -
another solid brick added to our wall. Following the Beantrees announcement, we
feel confident that we have a lot of exciting growth opportunities on our plate
