BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise self-service applications, today introduced BroadVision(R) Multi-Touchpoint Services(TM), a new product that adds mobile and non-PC device support to BroadVision`s enterprise self-service applications.
BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services gives BroadVision applications the ability to interact with and present content to a wide variety of mobile devices -- including WAP devices and PDAs (including Palm and Pocket PC devices) -- as well as other non-PC touchpoints including kiosks, ATMs and point-of-sale terminals. The software also enables voice interaction features in BroadVision applications via support for VoiceXML.
"BroadVision wants to bring the benefits of enterprise self-service to as many end users as possible," said Chris Grejtak, chief marketing officer for BroadVision. "BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services is a key part of that strategy because it extends the power of BroadVision`s commerce and portal applications far beyond the web to so many non-PC channels."
BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services is cost effective way to leverage existing web content for mobile and alternative devices. When integrated with a BroadVision-powered site, BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services automatically detects the type of device that is interacting with the site and personalizes content for that device. Content from the BroadVision-powered site is automatically transformed to XML and then presented in the correct format and with the appropriate navigation methodology for the requesting device.
Automatic "page fragmentation" intelligently breaks up content that was originally designed for presentation on the web so that it can be displayed on the smaller screens typically used by today`s mobile devices.
BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services is distributed with a variety of presentation channels and XSL templates for common devices, so enterprises can quickly extend their BroadVision-powered sites. The product includes a thin-client (web based) tool for the management of devices and XSL style sheets, and can be easily extended to support new channels and devices. The product can also use XSL style sheets generated by industry standard styling tools including XML Spy and eXcelon Stylus Studio. The built-in support for HTML devices (PC, kiosk, ATM and point-of-sale), WAP devices, PDA and Voice XML distribution channels can be easily modified or extended using open standards.
BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services is available now. The product works with the 6.0 versions of BroadVision`s enterprise self-service applications -- including BroadVision Business Commerce(TM), BroadVision Retail Commerce(TM) and BroadVision InfoExchange(TM) Portal -- as well as the forthcoming updates to BroadVision`s application suite. BroadVision Multi-Touchpoint Services is available for all BroadVision-supported hardware platforms including HP-UX, IBM AIX, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Sun Solaris.

Sunrider International Standardizes on BroadVision`s Enterprise Self-Service Application Suite
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 2002--
New Initiative Designed to Give Nearly One Million Distributors Access to Customized Online Stores
BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise self-service applications, today announced that Sunrider International, an international multi-level marketing company, has selected BroadVision(R) InfoExchange Portal(TM) and BroadVision(R) Retail Commerce(TM) to provide Sunrider`s nearly one-million distributors with the ability to build their own online stores as part of the Sunrider "WebSite Replicator Program." The solution will be unveiled at Sunrider`s International Distributor Conference in August and will be offered in the United States and Canada, followed by more than 25 additional countries.
The individual distributor web sites will allow Sunrider to increase product sales through effective targeting of advertisements and products and by offering cross-sell and up-sell products to visitors while shopping. Sunrider has placed an increased emphasis on online commerce and partner relationship management as a way to reduce costs and improve efficiency over current methods of taking orders via phone and fax. BroadVision`s enterprise self-service applications will be used to make a variety of business processes easily accessible to Sunrider distributors and end consumers. Sunrider`s goal is to provide a compelling online shopping experience that will allow the company to attract, retain, and extend their relationships with consumers.
Future enhancements to the WebSite Replicator Program will allow each distributor to deploy their own branded site using BroadVision InfoExchange Portal as the underlying framework; allowing for more effective selling of Sunrider products. Distributors will be able to easily build their sites using a "wizard" interface that will prompt them for site information and allow site customization by selecting from a list of predefined templates. Additionally, Sunrider will be able to precisely target marketing messages and advertisements to customers and distributors through the use of BroadVision One-To-One(R) advanced personalization features.
Content for the sites will be kept current and relevant through the use of BroadVision publishing tools. Distributors will also have the ability to publish their own content including news and advertisements that their own customers can see. Using the content management and web publishing tools built into BroadVision InfoExchange Portal and BroadVision Retail Commerce, Sunrider can create and manage an approval process to be used by both Sunrider and individual distributors.
"We`re delighted that a company like Sunrider, with a strong international presence, has selected BroadVision for its customer- and distributor-facing e-business initiatives," said Chris Grejtak, chief marketing officer for BroadVision. "Our technology will provide Sunrider with the best-of-breed applications to maintain outstanding employee and customer relationships."
"We selected BroadVision for several reasons, but in particular the ability its technology offered to personalize content for individual customers and distributors was vitally important for a company like ours which has distributors located throughout the world," said Dr. Oi-Lin Chen, president of Sunrider. "Using BroadVision applications, our goal is to move almost ninety percent of our business to the web."

TheSUBWAY.com Announces Investment Opinion: Making Up For The Loss!
NOTE TO EDITORS: The Following Is An Investment Opinion Issued By theSUBWAY.com.
WESTON, FL, Apr 17, 2002 (INTERNET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Keep an eye on Stereo Vision Entertainment Inc. (OTCBB: SVED). The company gaining new attention in the market and SVED could be a huge gainer in the short term. Other stock market standouts include BroadVision Inc. (Nasdaq: BVSN), up 14% on 2.6 million shares after teaming with KANA for Internet-based eCRM solutions, Lam Research Corporation (Nasdaq: LRCX), up 5% on 4.5 million shares ahead of Wednesday`s Earnings Release and Internet Security Systems (Nasdaq: ISSX), down 5% on 5 million shares after reporting Q1 Results. Dow Jones industrial average finished with a nice 207.65-point gain, to 10,301.32, more than making up for a sizable loss in the previous session. The Nasdaq closed up 61.12 points, to 1,814.90, making up ground lost during the previous five weeks. Not bad for the session, though the day`s stellar gains come with just one criticism from market strategists who would have preferred to see them occur under much heavier volume."
