Was sagen denn die Charts.

Gencor to shed Impala stake
The ownership profile of Impala Platinum Holdings, Ltd, the world`s second-largest platinum producer, is on the brink of major change, a company executive said late on Friday.
During a site visit of mining facilities by analysts and media, Impala`s financial director, David Brown, said he expected Gencor to distribute its 46,1% Impala holding to its shareholders "within the next six to nine months".
Gencor, one of SA`s oldest mining houses, founded in 1895, has divested all its assets in the past decade except its lucrative stake in Impala.
"The Gencor ownership issue has affected our ability to implement certain strategies, so it should be positive for us once it has been removed," said Brown.
Gencor`s major shareholders are nominee companies and life assurance groups.
Distribution of Gencor`s holding in Impala will make Impala a much more widely held and more tradable stock.
After Gencor, Impala`s major shareholders are South African institutions with about 25%, North American institutions with about 15,5% and UK institutions who own about 7,6%.
Impala produced 1,3-million ounces of platinum in the year to June 30, but is planning to boost output to 2,1-million by 2006.
Apart from its own operations in SA and Zimbabwe, Impala also has strategic investments in Lonmin, PLC, the world`s third-largest platinum producer, and low-cost producer Aquarius Platinum.
Gencor shares are currently trading at a discount of more than 7% to Impala`s share price.
Friday was the last day the shares qualified for a R2,09 final dividend.
Analysts expect the discount to disappear by the time Gencor distributes its Impala shares to its shareholders.
Gencor closed Friday on the JSE Securities Exchange SA at R29,35 while Impala closed at R312.
