My newsletter did a write up on FORTY today. Its incredibly undervalued at 38, I have 12 month $150 target on the shares. Trades at 1.1 times 99 sales, little debt, 150m in cash and investments ($16 per share), has holdings in 10 public firms, 9 private firms, is going international big time, has strong operating margins, return on equity, revenue growth... insanely cheap!!!
Ok, now that I have your attention.... the last official SMRM pick was WPNE at 8 7/8 on 11-5 and it has more than doubled to 19 per share in 4 weeks. WPNE will continue higher and see $30 soon.... MGIC has returned 500% since SMRM picked it in May.... now this company Im about to talk about is dramatically undervalued...I mean ridiculously undervalued. If anyone in America knew about them in the market we are in here, this stock would go from $37 to probably $200 per share, no joke.
Some of you may be aware that there is a growing technology boom outside these U.S. shores... its called Israel. Yeah, tons of high tech firms are up and comers out of that country...its the Silicon Valley of the region. Therefore, there are lots of gems (ala Magic) that are over there and undiscovered (did I mention Magic at 10??).... I have been doing some digging and after some due diligence, I can`t believe this company`s shares are being given away for $37-$38 per share....
Lets talk about the facts.... what if you found a High Technology company, that has a Venture Capital arm with holdings in over 9 private software and information technology firms, and also holds current stakes in 10 publicly traded companies (including an 800,000 share stake in MAGIC which is now worth $48 million and they invested for only $4 million back in March 98), and has recent revenue growth of 40% this year through the first 9 months. (Sounds like CMGI a bit huh??)... Wait it gets better, they are the largest publicly held Software and Information Technology Holding Company in Israel, with 3500 employees with all their ventures and arms. They have $151 million in cash and short term investments (probably understated), very little debt, operating margins that recently went from 37% to 42%, Blue Chip customers around the world, and Revenues have grown from 27 million in 1994 to probably what will be 330 million in 1999!!! But no, its even better!!! The whole company is valued in its entirety at only $350 million US dollars!!! Thats about 1 times this years revenues!!!!
So lets see if I get this straight.... I am buying the entire operations (which include e-commerce, telecommunications, Information Technology (where spending will explode in 2000), Software consulting, venture arms public and private.... for $38 per share, and $16 of that is cash????? So Im really buying the whole operating company and all its ventures for $22 per share net, since $16 of my $38 is in cash per share.... thats the whole company valued at $203 million for the operations end.
Lets do some math, in the US this should trade at more like 10 times sales and 50-70 times earnings perhaps. This stock could go to $150 per share from $37 and still be only 1.5 billion valuation, less than 5 times sales, and still only 40 times earnings..... again, there are Internet infrastructure firms going public at 5 billion market values with nothing close to this!!! This is where the money is made in the market people, finding the gems like this undiscovered by the investing public... finding the MAGICS and AREMisofts of the world, that go up 200-500% and still nobody knows who they are.... better yet, finding small caps that are actually profitable (horrors!) and cheap relative to sales and balance sheet!!
The name of this company is FORMULA SYSTEMS (FORTY).... the stock price is about $38 per share... my target is $150 per share end of 2000 fair value. This is an official SMRM pick and will be on the spreadsheets tracking its progress going forward. It has recently balooned from 25 to 38.... but its still very cheap.... those who have read my SMRM for awhile are probably comfortable with my recommendations.... but do some checking first, dont just leap to buy because I like it... heck I could be wrong (lol)....

Now get out there and make some killer money, or Sheckels shall I say.... one more to watch next week IARC.... bought at $5 on Friday, 6 1/2 early next week, 8-9 in a few, and 14 by Mid January, check it out, but its not an official SMRM pick, its a Dave Banister high flier speculative pick....due some research in XLM software language (its going to replace HTML soon)....thats your hint.

Hallo Leute!

unter 1 US-$. Es gibt ca. 30 Mio. Aktien....also ein Marktkap. von
1,8 Mrd. US-$.
hlabe Mio. US-$ gewesen sind - damals.....

smartpromo Launches E-Commerce Site Built by Net Quotient
AUSTIN, Texas and NEW YORK, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- smartpromo.com today launched a Web site that changes the way business shops for, purchases and
manages promotional products, using e-commerce software coded by Net Quotient Consulting Group.
``We gave Net Quotient a tall order when we presented our configuration requirements,`` said Conley Giles, chief executive officer of smartpromo.com.
``What we created with Net Quotient`s help is a comprehensive, highly scalable, business-to-business e-commerce engine for purchasing promotional products
online. With this streamlined and password-protected tool, customers of smartpromo.com leverage an exclusive network of suppliers with the efficiencies of the
Internet,`` said Giles.
Product selection, imprint colors, packaging, shipping and payment information are all processed via the Web, affecting the entire production, distribution and
purchasing cycle.
From manufacturer to end user, the smartpromo.com proprietary software automates the entire transaction. For example, actual cost per unit, set up costs, shipping
costs and applicable sales tax are calculated on-line. Purchase orders, order confirmations and invoices are sent via email. Customers receive dynamic reporting on
all aspects of order history. Purchase authorization enables global control of promotional programs. Consistent global corporate identity is protected through total
control of authorized product selection.
``We are excited to officially launch today smartpromo.com, the first to market the complete online products procurement and management tool for the promotional
products buyer,`` said Giles. ``We have been beta testing the system with key clients over the past eight months. We have devised several unique approaches to
streamline the process; it is so revolutionary that a Business Process Patent is pending.``
smartpromo.com customers include, among others, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), currently using smartpromo.com to manage promotional products purchasing.
Multiple divisions of AMD use a worldwide network to distribute promotional products at trade shows and in support of a number of product lines.
``smartpromo is brilliant,`` says Susan Kimmel-Lines, marcom manager for AMD. ``By ordering our promo items on-line, we save time -- but, more importantly, we
are saving money! I`m very impressed!``
smartpromo.com has been approached by several other industries to license its e-commerce software, which it has branded ``eProcureAll.``
Net Quotient teamed with a strategic partner and interactive agency, M2K, www.m2k.com, to design the smartpromo.com Web site -- a joint project executed by
the two companies under the co-branded Mercanteer(TM) Services umbrella, www.mercanteer.com. Mercanteer offers e-commerce marketing planning, site
naming, information architecture, graphic design, application design and development, back-end systems integration, and a full suite of technical and media and
creative services designed to build brand, generate site traffic, and convert site visitors into customers.
Net Quotient powers the smartpromo.com Web site with Microsoft SiteServer, Internet Information Server and Windows NT Server.
``The site is scalable to one million hits per day,`` said Jonathan Wallace, president of Net Quotient. ``This back end is the guts behind what the customer sees. It
was challenging work to produce a system that handles many-to-many relationships such as the available colors and sizes of a hat, which logos can be printed where,
whether a commemorative pin can be laser-engraved or appliqued or both, and knows which attributes are required or optional.``

Also : go forty!!!!!!!!!!!!

Formula Systems Price Target < Back Next >
Glossary
What`s the best guess for the stock price in 1-2 years?
Investors fix targets for most stocks by estimating future earnings per share and then applying a price-to-earnings "multiple", also known as the P/E ratio. Companies with the most consistent earnings history or strongest growth prospects receive the highest P/E multiples. We calculate price targets for the current and next fiscal year by applying the stock`s current multiple to the average professional analyst`s estimate.
Valuation using Formula Systems`s current multiple (P/E):
Fiscal Year Est Low/High Price Range Avg. Est. Price % Change for Average
12/1999 $21.22-$24.76 $22.79 -59.30%
12/2000 $29.61-$30.78 $30.26 -45.96%

What`s the best guess for the stock if it were valued like its peers?
Investors often come to believe that a stock is undervalued or overvalued compared to other stocks in its industrial group. To calculate an alternate target price for the current and next fiscal year based on those beliefs, investors can apply the average PE multiple for a company`s industrial group to the average professional analyst`s earnings estimate for the company in those periods.
Valuation using the industry`s current multiple (P/E):
Fiscal Year Est. Price % Change

Israeli shares post fresh highs on rate cut hopes
TEL AVIV, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Israeli shares advanced to new record highs on Monday, reversing
earlier declines on optimism over the approval of David Klein as Bank of Israel Governor and
hopes for interest rate cuts, traders said.
The benchmark Tel Aviv-100 index rose 4.16 points, or 0.81 percent, to 519.13 on turnover of 605
million shekels compared with 713 million shekels on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the blue-chip Tel Aviv-25 index increased 4.33 points, or 0.85 percent, to 514.05.
Both indices closed at all-time highs.
The market had lost close to one percent early Monday, but rose later in the day with the entry of
foreign investors and mutual funds, traders said.
New central bank chief Klein took office on Monday after being narrowly approved by the cabinet
on Sunday. Reputedly an inflation hawk, Klein said Monday there would be room to cut rates with
lower inflation.
"With 12-month inflation expectations in the market down to 1.7 percent -- far below the government
target of 3-4 percent -- everyone is expecting a rate cut at the end of the month," said a trader at
the Ilanot Batucha investment house.
Traders said the market expects Klein to cut the central bank`s 10.7 percent base lending rate by
0.3-0.5 percentage point.
The shekel advanced against the dollar on Monday to 4.0820 shekels at its representative rate
from 4.1020 on Friday, also boosted by Klein taking office.
Traders said the Israeli currency`s rise to its highest level in nearly seven months also lifted the
stock market.
Formula Systems <FORT.TA> <FORTY.O> stocks surged 9.85 percent to 223.00 shekels on
turnover of 28.3 million shekels. Traders attributed the rise to expectations of further share gains on
Nasdaq later this week, where Formula stocks also trade.
Blue chip stocks led trading volumes with a generally strong market sentiment, traders said.
Bank Leumi <LUMI.TA> shares rose close to 3.0 percent to 9.01 shekels on turnover of 37 million
shekels. Bezeq Israel Telecom <BEZQ.TA> shares closed up 3.7 percent to 22.40 shekels on a
volume of 33.5 million shekels.

enorm hoch?

ForSoft Announces Record Fourth Quarter Revenues of $17.3 Million, Increase of22%
Mon Feb 14 08:00:00 EST 2000
HERZLIA, Israel, Feb 14, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- ForSoft Ltd. (Nasdaq:
FORS), a leading provider of large-scale information technology (IT) solutions
and services for telecommunications companies, utilities, banks and other
enterprises announced today its financial results for the three month period and
year ended December 31, 1999.
Revenues for the three months ended December 31, 1999 increased 22% to $17.3
million from $14.2 million for the three months ended December 31, 1998.
Revenues for the year ended December 31, 1999 increased 26% to $64.5 million
from $51.1 million for the year ended December 31, 1998.
Emanuel Cohen, Chief Executive Officer of ForSoft Ltd. said, "ForSoft Inc., our
US based subsidiary, has enhanced the development of its CONSULTINGDIRECT.COM, a
virtual IT consulting service utilizing an online IT Consulting Auction.
CONSULTINGDIRECT.COM will provide comprehensive Internet-based Human Resources
(HR) and staffing services procurement solution for large organizations, we have
achieved initial market penetration, with these services in the US. This
attainment is a further testimony to our innovative solutions, and coupled with
our OEM agreement with 3M. We believe it provides a solid foundation from which
we can continue to expand and grow in the international markets. Moreover,
ForSoft has managed to maintain and even increase its level of revenues, despite
the temporary slowdown in overall IT business in the Israeli market, due to
preparations for Y2K, though no revenues in the quarter were derived from Y2K
projects," Mr. Cohen added.
Revenues in each of the four quarters of 1999 increased significantly over the
same periods of the prior year. Period over period increases for the 1st, 2nd,
3rd and 4th quarters of 1999, compared to the same periods of 1998, were 23%,
31%, 29% and 22%, respectively.
Gross profit for the three months ended December 31, 1999 increased to $5.8
million (33.6%) from $4.6 (32.3%) million for the three months ended December
31, 1998. Gross profit for the year ended December 31, 1999 increased to $21.3
million (33%) from $14.8 million (29%) for the year ended December 31, 1998.
Net income for the three months ended December 31, 1999 was $ 2.15 million
(12.4%) compared to $2.7 million (19.1%), representing EPS of $0.17 basic and
$0.15 diluted. Net income for the year ended December 31, 1999 was $8.4 million
(13%) compared to $8.9 million (17.4%), representing EPS of $0.65 basic and
$0.60 diluted. The reduction in the net income for 1999 compared to 1998 is a
result of major investments in selling and marketing expenditures in order to
allow us to penetrate the international markets.
"We are very pleased with the continued revenue growth in ForSoft`s IT solutions
and services business," Mr. Cohen added. "We believe that the Company`s current
backlog of orders, together with recent strategic investments, will enable
ForSoft to penetrate attractive, vertical niche markets and allow us to continue
our planned international expansion to grow our business," said Cohen.
Mr. Isaac Eldar, VP Marketing of ForSoft Ltd. said, "We are formulating a new
strategy, that redefines our penetration into international markets, by
developing and acquiring a suite of E-Business solutions for vertical markets."

wer weiss warum?
