schicken. Da bietet so eine Order Ausstiegswilligen
die Chance zu verkaufen, ohne einen Einbruch zu
provozieren.
Genauso wirkt ein Deckel oft anziehend.
Einsteiger kriegen endlich mal größere Stückzahlen
ohne gleich den Kurs wegzublasen.

Grizzly waits on its mini-bulk test

Grizzly Diamonds Ltd (C:GZD)
Shares Issued 15,761,706

Tuesday June 26 2007 - Street Wire

by Will Purcell

Brian Testo's Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. should know the fate of its big Legend kimberlite pipe in days. The company collected a mini-bulk sample from the pipe in the hope of proving the body has a grade comparable with the Fort a la Corne pipes in Saskatchewan. The pipe was one of several discoveries in the area about 150 kilometres northeast of the Buffalo Hills district of Northern Alberta. The play seemed over when tests of the kimberlite produced just a few small diamonds, but Mr. Testo's company is betting about $500,000 on getting a pleasant surprise.

The test

Grizzly wrapped up its mini-bulk test in February, collecting 10.2 tonnes of kimberlite from the Legend pipe, which could be between 500 metres and 800 metres in diameter and approaching the size of a Fort a la Corne pipe. The company originally planned to test a wide area of the body, but it found working near the core of the body more to its liking, and most of its holes zeroed in on the main zone.

On its 12th hole, Grizzly drilled into a distinctly different phase of kimberlite and the company fired off a final test into that part of the body.
As a result, about 1.4 tonnes of the 10.2-tonne sample came from the new and previously untested phase of kimberlite. That rock provides Grizzly with added encouragement, as it is a coarse-grained kimberlite.

Mr. Testo said the processing of the kimberlite sample would have been complete by now, but De Beers Canada Inc. experienced a problem with its dense media separation system just after the Legend material had been crushed. That cost about two weeks, he added.

The diamond giant managed to complete the processing early in June and Grizzly shipped about 85 kilograms of concentrate to the Saskatchewan Research Council facility in Saskatoon for diamond recovery. Mr. Testo said he expected the results any day and almost certainly by the first few days of July.

The company is also expecting diamond counts from three smaller samples of rock that are being processed by caustic fusion. The three batches weighed about 70 kilograms, and a good part of that material came from the new phase of material that Grizzly encountered at the end of its drill program. Those numbers could also support hopes for a better zone within the pipe.

The encouragement

It will be a big surprise if Grizzly's entire Legend test yields an encouraging diamond grade, as Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. found just four small microdiamonds in over 400 kilograms of material processed during the late 1990s. Still, a promotable grade from just a portion of the rock could attract notice, because of the size of the Legend body.

Mr. Testo hopes to sell investors on a revived Legend play in a Fort a la Corne context, and that would be possible if just one or two phases of kimberlite deliver grades comparable with what Shore Gold Inc. is finding in some of its better pipes.

Star and the Orion pipes in Saskatchewan lie under more than 100 metres of overburden, while the Legend pipe lies hidden beneath about 20 metres of barren material. As a result, Grizzly's project would face lower capital and operating costs, should the grade prove worth its while. Nevertheless, the company will likely need a grade topping 0.10 carat per tonne to attract new investors.

The Legend property contains several other known kimberlites, but just one of them, Phoenix, produced any microdiamonds. Grizzly believes there are at least a few other targets worth testing, including a large feature close to Legend that it would like to drill next year, if it can get the required permissions. A good grade from Legend would give the new targets a boost.

Grizzly closed unchanged at $1 Monday on 16,500 shares.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 30.527.634 von vernice am 06.07.07 20:14:01EDMONTON, Alberta –June 4, 2007– Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD)(FRANKFURT:G6H) (“Grizzly”) today is pleased to provide the following exploration update for a number of its 100% owned Alberta Diamond Properties in the Buffalo Head Hills and the Birch Mountains of Northern Alberta.

Grizzly today is pleased to announce that DeBeers Canada has completed processing the Legend Kimberlite mini-bulk sample at its Grande Prairie Dense Media Separation (DMS). The DMS used a 0.5mm cut-off. The program was delayed due to an equipment breakdown during processing. The concentrates have been shipped to the Saskatchewan Research Council, Saskatoon, where the concentrate will be fused using standard caustic fusion procedures and then picked for diamonds. Grizzly expects to have final diamond results in hand by mid to late June. The 10.2 tonne sample was split into 3 sub-samples based on mineralogical and textural differences within the kimberlite drill core which may represent geochemically different implacement pulses or kimberlite phases. The DMS concentrates for the 3 sub-samples weighed 20.3kg, 31.9kg and 32.45kg respectively. As well, 3 drill core samples weighing43.1kg, 83.2kg and 42.05kg were submitted for caustic fusion and will be picked for micro-diamonds. These 3 samples represent check samples to confirm historic micro-diamond results reported by Kennecott Canada as part of Grizzly’s ongoing regimented QA/QC program.

Grizzly’s high resolution fixed-wing airborne magnetic (HRAM) survey s in the Buffalo Head Hills area has now been completed. The 25,000 line-km HRAM survey was commissioned in February with physical flying commencing in early March. The delivery of final data is expected sometime in late June.

Grizzly Diamonds is an aggressive Canadian exploration company focused on exploring for diamonds in Alberta and precious metals in North America. It currently holds diamond properties in the Buffalo Head Hills, Birch Mountains and Pelican Mountain areas of Alberta totaling over three million acres which host prospective geophysical targets and associated diamond indicator minerals. In British Columbia, the Corporation has four precious metal properties totaling over 23,000 acres.

All 2007 field programs are being conducted under the supervision of Michael Dufresne, P.Geol., a principal of APEX Geoscience Ltd. and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

LTD.: EXPLORATION UPDATE FOR ALBERTA DIAMOND PROPERTIES AND THE PEAK PROPERTY, BC

Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. is providing an exploration update for a number of its 100-per-cent-owned Alberta diamond properties in the Buffalo Head Hills and the Birch Mountains areas of Northern Alberta, its joint-ventured Call of the Wild diamond property in the Pelican Mountains area of north-central Alberta, and the Peak precious/base metal property in north-central British Columbia.

The concentrates from the 10.2-ton Legend mini-bulk sample have been fused using standard caustic fusion procedures and picking for diamonds is under way (using a 0.5-millimetre cut-off). Grizzly expects to have final results in the near future as heavy industry demands have slowed the laboratory (Saskatchewan Research Council) in delivering results. Final results will be released as soon as received by Grizzly.

Wednesday July 11, 3:29 pm ET

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - July 11, 2007) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD - News; FRANKFURT:G6H - News; "Grizzly") today is pleased to provide the following exploration update for a number of its 100% owned Alberta Diamond Properties in the Buffalo Head Hills and the Birch Mountains of Northern Alberta, its joint ventured Call of the Wild Diamond Property in the Pelican Mountains area, north-central Alberta and the Peak precious-base metal property in north-central British Columbia.

The concentrates from the 10.2 tonne Legend mini-bulk sample have been fused using standard caustic fusion procedures and picking for diamonds is underway (using a 0.5mm cutoff). Grizzly expects to have final results in the near future as heavy industry demands have slowed the laboratory (Saskatchewan Research Council) in delivering results. Final results will be released as soon as received by Grizzly.

Results from one composite drill core sample, collected to test both mineral chemistry and micro-diamond counts (Sample Legend 004,005,006 - 168.35 Kg) from the Legend Kimberlite are now available. In total 3 diamonds were recovered from 168.35 kg of drill core (see Table below). These results closely approximate the historic results reported by Kennecott Canada

Grizzly is pleased to provide an update on its Grand Cub Aidan Property in the Buffalo Head Hills area. During June, a crew ground checked priority anomalies identified from an airborne geophysical survey conducted by Grizzly. During the 10 day program, 4 geophysical grids were completed. Of the four targets, 2 remain high priority drill targets. Anomaly GCA049 is a 150m by 150m circular magnetic anomaly and anomaly GCA038b is a cohesive semi-circular magnetic anomaly 175m by 125m in size. The program was stopped early due to overly wet conditions and flooding within the property and will be continued in fall 2007.

Call of the Wild Update

Grizzly and partner Stornoway Diamond Corporation ("Stornoway") have completed anomaly ground checks on the Call of the Wild Diamond Property in the Pelican Mountains area, north-central Alberta. Of the 47 priority magnetic targets selected for follow-up exploration from airborne magnetic data, 19 remain priority for ground geophysical surveying and sampling.

Peak Property, BC

At the Peak precious-base metal property in north-central British Columbia, ground geophysical surveys (time domain electromagnetics) have been completed and results are pending. The results will aid the geological mapping and sampling program which will commence later this month. A drilling contractor has been secured for August in order to follow-up the 2006 drilling program with further drilling as well as the testing of a number of the newly identified targets.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 30.655.367 von crackerjack am 12.07.07 15:59:15Bei Legend handelt es sich bislang nur um Teilergebnisse:

Results from one composite drill core sample, collected

(Sample Legend 004,005,006 - 168.35 Kg) from the Legend

Die Ausbeute ist okay, aber nicht sensationell. Ergo
"neutral".

Die kompletten Resultate kommen in (hoffentlich) naher
Zukunft:

Grizzly expects to have final results in the near future
as heavy industry demands have slowed the laboratory

Final results will be released as soon as received by

Also weiter abwarten. Aber das wußten wir ja schon. ;)

Kurs stabilisiert sich, wie es scheint.
Drei Mikrodiamenten im Test-Sample machen
immerhin Hoffnung auf eine ordentliche
Ausbeute im Mini Bulk Sample. Sollte
das eintreffen, könnte es mittelfristig
wieder bis auf 1,30/40 CAD hochlaufen.
Bei einem signifikanten Fund sind auch
schnell mal 100-200% drin. Wunder gibt
es immer wieder...

Es sind nach meiner Kenntnis nur noch ca.
sechs Threadteilnehmer in Grizzly investiert.

ausgewertet. Ergebnis: drei Microdiamanten.
Hochgerechnet könnten also insgesamt mehr als 10 Micro-
diamanten gefunden werden. Dies wäre ein beachtlicher
Erfolg und könnte dir (u.a.?) einen passablen Exit
ermöglichen. Beim aktuellen Bid von 0,607€ (1648 St.)
lohnt sich der Verkauf gewiß nicht.

Grizzly Diamonds- Legend Kimberlite Diamond Results

EDMONTON, ALBERTA - July 19, 2007 - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD) (FRANKFURT:G6H)("Grizzly") today announces the following exploration update for the Legend Kimberlite mini-bulk sampling program.

Grizzly collected a 10.2 tonne mini-bulk sample from the Legend Kimberlite from thirteen core holes completed during January to February, 2007. During May 2007, the sample was processed at the DeBeers Canada Dense Media Separation plant (DMS) facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta yielding a heavy mineral concentrate totaling 64.45 kg. The heavy mineral concentrate was finished using standard caustic fusion procedures and picked for macro-diamonds (using a 0.425mm cutoff) at the Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanalytical Laboratories accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard by the Standards Council of Canada. In total, one diamond was recovered and is described as a colorless, included, twinned octahedron. A picture of the macro-diamond will available for viewing shortly on the Grizzly website at http://www.grizzlydiamonds.com

An audit of the DMS tails will be conducted in the near future. On July 7th, 2007 diamond results were reported for one composite drill core sample from the Legend Kimberlite, collected to test the kimberlite for both mineral chemistry and the presence of micro-diamonds (Sample Legend 004,005,006 - 168.35 Kg). A total of 3 micro-diamonds were recovered from 168.35 kg of drill core. The mineral chemistry results are pending.

Grizzly continues to review all of the data for the Legend Property, which includes airborne and ground geophysics as well as mineral chemistry data for possible future drill programs. One such target is the Legend Camp Target, a topographic high underlain by a 250 m diameter 4,000 nT magnetic low. Grizzly intends to drill the Legend Camp Target during early 2008 along with ground geophysical surveys over a number of existing and untested targets identified during prior airborne geophysical surveys.

The Birch Mountain Kimberlite Field consists of nine kimberlites, two of which are diamond bearing and exist within Grizzly's Legend Property. All nine kimberlites were discovered by Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. and New Blue Ribbon Resources Inc. between 1998 and 2002. The kimberlites, have either a positive or negative magnetic response and range from weak to strongly magnetic and are Cretaceous in age. In general the kimberlite pipes are in excess of 500 m wide based on magnetic responses and have been classified as multi-phased, pyroclastic kimberlite, perhaps similar in nature to the Fort a la Corne kimberlites.

steigen, denn:
4.
We have been working on our Silver and Copper ect
properties in BC, and will be drilling at the Peak by
the end of August.

Myself and my Chief Geoligist will be in Germany
in Sept doing presentations for some Fund Managers,
maybe we can hook up.

2007 Exploration Program Underway

EDMONTON, ALBERTA - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD) (FRANKFURT:G6H) ("Grizzly") is pleased to announce that it has optioned the ANT Property from 0757782 BC Ltd. (the "Optionor"). The ANT Property (the "Property") is located approximately 10 kilometers north of Princeton, BC and consists of 9 mineral claims totaling approximately 2,618 acres (1,060 hectares).

There are a number of historic showings on the property. Chip sampling at the Freddy B Showing in the early 1990's by Placer Dome Inc. returned assays of 0.34% copper (Cu) over 35 m. Grab samples from the same area returned assays of up to 2.2% Cu. A 1973 grab sample at the Rats Showing returned 3.0% Cu, 9.7% zinc (Zn) and 36.8 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag). Soil geochemical surveys at the Lucky Showing by Mingold Resources Ltd. in 1987 outlined a copper and gold anomaly which returned assays of up to 0.822% Cu and 0.470 g/t gold (Au).

A field crew from APEX Geoscience Ltd. of Edmonton, AB has been mobilized to the Property and has commenced exploration which will include an assessment of historic showings, reconnaissance geologic mapping and prospecting, rock, soil and stream sediment sampling.

The Nicola Group of rocks is host to significant copper porphyry deposits near Princeton including the Axe deposit located 10 km to north which contains 57.5 million tonnes grading 0.5% Cu. The Brenda porphyry Cu-molybdenum (Mo) mine, located 50 km to the northeast, produced 181,735,292 tonnes of ore grading 0.152% Cu, 0.037% Mo, 0.0125 g/t Au 0.815 g/t Ag between 1970 and 1990. Copper Mountain Mining Corporation is currently exploring the Copper Mountain (SIMILCO) Deposit located 25 km to the south that currently has a historical resource of 142,407,000 tonnes grading 0.397% copper.

Precious metal bearing quartz veins are also a potential target for exploration in the area and are often associated with lead, zinc and copper mineralization. Almaden Minerals Ltd, which operates the Elk Gold Project 35 km to the north of the Property, has discovered a number of vein systems with high grade gold and has a combined indicated and measured NI 43-101 compliant resource of 846,000 tonnes grading 10.48 g/t Au.

Under the terms of the option agreement Grizzly can earn an undivided 51% interest in the Property by incurring exploration expenditures of CDN$50,000 before March 1, 2008 followed by a further CDN$50,000 in exploration expenditures before March 1, 2009. A CDN$10,000 cash payment was made to the Optionor upon signing of the agreement and a second cash payment of CDN$10,000 is due on March 1, 2008. The option agreement may be terminated at any time without further obligation by Grizzly.

All 2007 field programs are being conducted under the supervision of Michael Dufresne, P.Geol., a principal of APEX Geoscience Ltd. and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

Grizzly Diamonds Mobilizes Crew and Drill to the Peak Property, British Columbia

EDMONTON, ALBERTA- Sept. 17, 2007 - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD) (Frankfurt:G6H) (\"Grizzly\") today announced that it has signed a contract with Titan Drilling to commence diamond drilling on the Peak Property, North-Central British Columbia. Drill sites have been prepared and a diamond drill has been mobilized to site to commence drilling immediately.

Grizzly also has commissioned a geological crew from APEX Geoscience Ltd. (APEX) to mobilize to the Peak Property in order to prepare the main Rio and Ute showings for follow-up drill testing and to drill test a number of discreet linear magnetic anomalies and electromagnetic (EM) conductors that represent stratigraphic and structural targets for both precious metal-VMS and structurally controlled precious metal epithermal mineralization. The magnetic and EM anomalies were identified by the 2006 high-resolution helicopter airborne magnetic and EM surveys completed by Aeroquest Limited.

The Peak Property is located 65 km northeast of the town of Smithers, BC. Results from surface samples collected during 2005 at the Peak property include high grade gold, silver and base metal values with assays of up to 211.5 ounces per ton (oz/t) silver (7,250 grams per tonne (g/t)), 1.90 oz/t gold (65.2 g/t), and 13% copper (Cu) from the Ute and Rio sulphide showings. The Ute and Rio showings were drill tested during late 2006 with 1,445 m in 11 drillholes. Ute Vein yielded up to 9.91 oz/t (339.7 g/t) Silver over 6.07 feet (2.07 m) core length with 1.91% Cu, 1.07% lead (Pb) and 0.37% zinc (Zn). The Rio Sulphide Zone yielded up to 0.6 oz/t (20.54 g/t) silver, 0.07 oz/t (2.28 g/t) gold, 0.35% Cu and 0.09% Zn over 10 feet (3.05 m) core length. The 2006 drilling intersected new zones named the Ute North (2.44 oz/t (83.5 g/t) silver, 0.17 oz/t (5.67 g/t) gold, 2.17% Cu, 0.56% Pb and 0.11% Zn over 3.28 feet (1.0 m)) and the Mud1 Zone (2.65 oz/t (90.8 g/t) silver and 0.25% zinc over 15.79 feet (5.38 m) core length with a higher grade silver zone of 8.6 oz/t (295 g/t) over 0.88 feet (0.3 m).

Precious and base metal mineralization at the Peak Property has characteristics in common with both Jurassic precious metal enriched volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits, such as Eskay Creek, as well as Jurassic volcanic hosted epithermal precious metal deposits such as the Snip and Premier-Silbak. The known precious and base metal mineralization at the Peak Property is associated with a weak EM conductor and a small isolated linear magnetic high that is spatially associated with a large several km sized magnetic anomaly that is likely representative of an intrusion at depth.

Elsewhere on the property, regional geochemical gold in creek anomalies identified during 2005 and 2006, appear to be spatially associated with at least one of the linear EM conductors and a linear magnetic anomaly that are likely parallel or subparallel to the local strike of the Jurassic volcanic rocks. One or more of the geophysical anomalies along with a number of other magnetic and EM anomalies will be drill tested during the upcoming September exploration program.

Land use permits are in place for the upcoming 2007 drill program and rehabilitation of the existing access road.

All 2007 field programs are being conducted under the supervision of Michael Dufresne, P. Geol., a principal of APEX Geoscience Ltd. and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

Grizzly Diamonds Ltd.: Fall Program Approved for Buffalo Head Hills Diamond Properties, Alberta Priority Geophysical Targets Selected Suggestive of Kimberlite
Tuesday October 2, 12:22 pm ET

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 2, 2007) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD - News; FRANKFURT:G6H - News; "Grizzly") today announced that a fall ground exploration program has been approved for a number of its 100% owned Alberta Diamond Properties in the Buffalo Head Hills of Northern Alberta.

In April 2007 a high resolution fixed-wing airborne magnetic survey was completed at the Smoky The Bear and the southern portion of the Grand Cub Aidan properties with final data received in July, 2007. A thorough review of the data has resulted in the identification of more than 100 magnetic anomalies, including at least 10 high priority anomalies, which are of interest for follow-up exploration including detailed ground geophysical surveys followed by drill testing.

Based upon a recommended scope of work by APEX Geoscience Ltd., Grizzly has committed to a $120,000 fall ground geophysical program to conduct ground geophysical surveys over priority geophysical anomalies suggestive of kimberlite that were recently identified on the Smoky The Bear, Grand Cub Aidan and the Preston Upon Wolverine Properties. The scope of work will be to complete ground geophysical surveys over a minimum 20 targets in order to add to the existing inventory of 9 moderate to high priority drill-ready targets. A number of the prospective anomalies on the Smoky The Bear Property are within several hundred meters and as far as one to two kilometers from a number of the known Buffalo Head Hills Kimberlites.

Grizzly is working towards a significant drilling campaign during the winter of 2007-2008 and to test 10 to 15 priority targets in the Buffalo Head Hills region for the presence of kimberlite.

In British Columbia, the Corporation has four precious metal properties totaling over 23,000 acres where a drill program is currently active.

All 2006 field programs are being conducted under the supervision of Michael Dufresne, P. Geol., a principal of APEX Geoscience Ltd. and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

COMPANY UPDATE - Grizzly Expands Buffalo Hunt

2007-12-28 17:28 ET - Street Wire
by Will Purcell

Brian Testo's Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. is finalizing drill plans for its key diamond properties in the Buffalo Hills region of Northern Alberta. The company has several other projects on the go, but it intends to spend the bulk of the cash obtained in a recent multimillion-dollar financing to drill several intriguing anomalies near significantly diamondiferous pipes found by Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. during the heyday of the Alberta play in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The plan

A few other active diamond explorers are hunting new kimberlites in Northern Alberta as well, but Mr. Testo's junior company should rank near the top of the list of big spenders. Only Diamondex Resources Ltd. and Shore Gold Inc., which jointly control the old Ashton project, are likely to outspend Grizzly next year.

The Peers-based welder and pipefitter said Grizzly already had one drilled lined up for certain and he expects to have a second rig available when the drilling starts in mid-January. Officially, Grizzly would like to test at least a dozen targets, but with two rigs and good weather, the company could poke holes into as many as 20 geophysical anomalies.

The Buffalo Hills district is about 85 kilometres northeast of Peace River and overnight lows are occasionally dipping below minus 30 C. The coldest weather typically occurs when Grizzly plans to start its drilling, but the real weather issue will be the warmer spring days. Although the weather can be quite variable each year, Ashton Mining of Canada typically relied on mid-March as the time when it had to wrap up its winter work. As a result, Grizzly should have two good months of drilling before the roads and trails turn to mud.

Mr. Testo said that Grizzly completed what turned out to be a $2.76-million private placement. The flow-through shares sold for $1.10 each and the company plans to spend $1.7-million of that on the Alberta gem hunt, with most of the money going to the drilling in the Buffalo Hills region.

The encouragement

The Buffalo Hills region should attract new market interest, with Shore and Diamondex busy on ground in the immediate vicinity of some of Grizzly's anomalies. As well, Mr. Testo's rivals inherited several hundred tonnes of kimberlite that the previous operator dug up last winter from the K-14 and K-6 pipes. That rock has been growing cobwebs in Vancouver, but Shore will be processing it at its Saskatchewan plant early next year.

Good grades and some valuable gems could revive the Buffalo Hills play in a Fort a la Corne context. Ashton's original results lend support for such a model, as some of the pipes are large and the original mini-bulk grades are comparable or better than that delivered by mini-bulk tests of the Fort a la Corne bodies.

For instance, the largest of the Buffalo Hills tests occurred at K-14, where Ashton processed 524 tonnes of kimberlite and recovered 64.25 carats of diamonds, for a grade of about 0.12 carat per tonne. The haul included just one gem that weighed over one carat, but two more came close and there may have been significant diamond breakage because of the reverse circulation drills used to collect the samples.

Other pipes produced comparable grades. The K-91 body managed 4.56 carats from 35.87 tonnes of kimberlite, for a grade of 0.127 carat per tonne. The grade was lower from a 20-tonne test of K-6, at just 0.072 carat per tonne, but a 0.76- carat yellow diamond was a particularly valuable find. The best pipe in the region had a grade of 0.55 carat per tonne, but it was quite small, covering less than two hectares. Those numbers would help draw interest to any Grizzly drill success.

Grizzly closed down six cents to 98 cents Thursday on 2,800 shares.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 25, 2008) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD - News; FRANKFURT:G6H - News; "Grizzly") is pleased to announce final assay results from the 2007 drilling at the Peak Property, British Columbia. Results continue to confirm the presence of a significant silver-gold-copper-lead-zinc mineralized system on the property. In 2007 a total of 22 diamond drill holes (PK07-01 to PK07-22) totaling 2,293m tested the RIO, UTE and Breccia Zone showings. Mineralization has been extended along strike at the RIO and UTE veins and resulted in the discovery of a broader zone of low grade mineralization associated with alteration of the Breccia Zone.

"We are extremely pleased that our drilling successfully expanded known mineralization at the UTE, RIO and Breccia Zones" states Grizzly President Brian Testo. "The wider alteration and mineralized system discovered at the Breccia Zone is particularly encouraging suggestive of an extensive mineralized system. Aggressive plans are in place for a follow-up 2008 drill program."

Summary assay highlights are presented below and detailed within the following table. All depths reported below represent down-hole meterages.

- UTE Vein:

-- A total of 9 drill holes for a total of 979.4 m tested and expanded the strike extent of the UTE Vein during 2007.

-- Drill hole PK07-10 intersected the UTE vein at a depth of 16.10 m and assayed 265.8 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag) (7.75 ounces per ton (oz/t)) across 2.80 m with associated 0.44% copper (Cu), 1.38% lead (Pb) and 0.19% zinc (Zn).

-- Drill hole PK07-11 interested the UTE vein at a depth of 39.66 m and assayed 182.2 g/t Ag (5.31 oz/t) across 3.34 m with associated 0.33% Cu, 1.88% Pb and 0.10% Zn.

-- The mineralized intersections within PK07-12 and PK07-13 extend the known strike length of the UTE vein to 330 m and its' inferred down dip extent to 51 m vertically.

-- Drill hole PK07-12, collared 250 m to the west of PK07-13, tested the down-dip extent of the UTE vein and yielded an intersection of 38.7 g/t Ag (1.13 oz/t), 0.29% Pb and 0.20% Zn over 3.87 m core length at a depth of 68.38 m with a high grade portion of 1,040 g/t Ag (30.33 oz/t), 1.71% Cu, 14.30% Pb and 7.64% Zn over 0.10 m.

-- PK07-12 intersected a second mineralized zone within a sequence of mudstone and interlayered felsic volcanics (Mud1 Zone) at a depth of 108.18 m which yielded assays of 10.26 g/t Ag (0.30 oz/t), 0.29% Pb and 0.33% Zn over a 5.15 m core length.

-- Drill hole PK07-13, collared 70 m to the east of the UTE vein, yielded an intersection of 1,410 g/t Ag (41.13 oz/t) across 0.24 m core length with associated 0.86% Cu, 14.70% Pb and 3.10% Zn.

-- Drill hole PK07-16 interested the UTE vein at a depth of 21.17 m and assayed 116.3 g/t Ag (3.39 oz/t) across 1.85 m with associated 0.66% Cu, 2.78% Pb and 0.72% Zn.

-- All high grade and low grade zones are accompanied by widespread highly anomalous manganese (Mn) and antimony (Sb) along with anomalous trace concentrations of arsenic (As), bismuth (Bi), and cadmium (Cd).

- Breccia Zone:

-- A total of 2 drill holes expanded the strike extent of the Breccia Zone during 2007 drilling. Drill holes PK07-14 and PK07-15 tested a possible broader zone of Ag plus Pb/Zn mineralization discovered during 2006 drilling (see news release dated Dec. 14, 2006).

-- Drill hole PK07-14 intersected 13.6 g/t Ag (0.40 oz/t),0.11% Cu and 0.10% Pb over 12.71 m with a high grade portion of 108.1 g/t Ag (3.15 oz/t), 2.64% Cu, 0.12% Pb and 0.19% Zn over 0.36 m. The brecciated and altered volcanics in hole PK07-14 also yielded two zones of greater than 40 m with concentrations of Pb ranging from 200 to 1000 parts per million (ppm) and zinc ranging from 500 to 2,500 ppm with greater than percent level Mn and trace but anomalous concentrations of Sb, Mo and Cu. (1) denotes overlimit assay yet to be received from laboratory

The 2008 drill program will focus on determining the extent of silver, gold plus copper/lead/zinc mineralized feldspar porphyry and brecciated felsic volcanic units intersected at the Breccia Zone and their relationship to epithermal mineralization at the UTE vein and epithermal to remobilized VMS mineralization at the RIO sulphide zone and the mineralized mudstone and interbedded volcanics of the MUD1 Zone. In order to help better define and target the disseminated sulphide zone and alteration at the Breccia Zone, planning is underway to conduct an induced polarization (IP) ground electromagnetic survey followed by further drilling.

Geochemical analyses were conducted using a combination of standard fire assay in conjunction with AA or gravimetric finish and multi-element ICP techniques at TSL Laboratories in Saskatoon, Acme Analytical Laboratories and ALS Chemex in Vancouver. Further overlimit assay results from the remaining drill core will be released as they become available.

The Peak Property is located 65 km northeast of the town of Smithers, BC. Precious and base metal mineralization at the Peak Property has characteristics in common with both Jurassic precious metal enriched VMS deposits, such as Eskay Creek, as well as Jurassic volcanic hosted epithermal precious metal deposits such as the Snip and Premier-Silbak.

All 2007 field programs were conducted under the supervision of Michael Dufresne, P. Geol., a principal of APEX Geoscience Ltd. and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

Grizzly Diamonds Enters Into Option Agreement for the Greenwood Silver-Gold-Copper Property in South-Central British Columbia

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(March 10, 2008) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD) (FRANKFURT:G6H) ("Grizzly") today is pleased to announce that it has signed an option agreement ("the Agreement") with Mineworks Ventures Inc. ("Mineworks"), a private BC based company at 'arms length' to Grizzly, to acquire 100% interest in the Greenwood Property ("the Property") located in the vicinity of the town of Greenwood, BC. The agreement covers three distinct blocks of land totaling 15,320 acres (6,200 hectares) including the Deadwood, Mount Attwood and Grand Forks blocks. The Property is road accessible from both Greenwood and Grand Forks and hosts a number of historic mineral occurrences including most notably the Overlander gold-silver-copper vein/skarn showing and the Sappho copper-silver-platinum alkalic intrusion hosted showing.

The Sappho Prospect consists of a number of old pits and shafts approximately 9 km south of the town of Greenwood. The copper-silver prospect was mined during the early 1900's. Work during the 1980's led to the discovery of pyrite, chalcopyrite and magnetite associated with highly altered greenstone and alkalic intrusions. Sampling by Kettle River Resources during the early 1980's yielded up to percent (%) level concentrations of copper (Cu) and multi ounce per ton (oz/t) silver (Ag) assays with a best chip sample of 1.74% Cu and 0.35 oz/t (12.0 grams per tonne (g/t)) Ag over 3.0 m. Some of the high grade grab samples yield anomalous concentrations of platinum (Pt) with a highest value of 0.051 oz/t (1.75 g/t) Pt.

The Overlander Prospect consists of a pyrite and chalcopyrite bearing quartz vein within a chert and argillite metasedimentary package in nearby contact with a granodioritic stock. During the late 1980's the steeply dipping vein was mapped over a distance of 120 m and ranges from 0.2 to 0.5 m widths, with chip samples across the vein yielding up to 0.59 oz/t (20.2 g/t) gold (Au) across 0.4 m. More importantly, the Overlander and other prospects located on the Mount Attwood block of Grizzly's Greenwood Property exist with 2.7 km of the Golden Crown property currently being developed by Merit Mining Corp. (Merit). The northern boundary of the Mount Attwood block abuts the southern boundary of Merit's Golden Crown property and is less than 1,000 m from the location of Merits drill hole GCD07-03, which recently yielded a drill intercept of 50.62 g/t (1.48 oz/t) Au over 6.1 m from the King Vein (See Merit Mining Corp. News Release dated February 28, 2008).

Exploration by Grizzly during 2008 will consist of an expenditure of about $250,000 that will include a comprehensive compilation of all prior exploration in the area along with a helicopter-borne magnetic and electromagnetic (EM) survey, surface prospecting and a detailed creek and soil sampling program. This Phase 1 exploration will eventually lead to drilling during either fall 2008 or summer/fall 2009.

In order to acquire a 100% interest in the Property, Grizzly must complete the following:

(a) payment to Mineworks the sum of $12,500 cash upon execution of the
Agreement and the issuance of 25,000 common shares in the share capital
of Grizzly;

(b) payment to Mineworks between now and March 1, 2012 a further total of
$212,500 cash and the issuance of 175,000 common shares in the share
capital of Grizzly; and

(c) complete exploration expenditures on the Property totaling $2 million
over the next five years.

Mineworks will retain a combined two point five percent (2.5%) industry standard net smelter royalty (NSR) on the Property. Grizzly can purchase up to 1.5% of the 2.5% NSR for a price of $1,500,000. The Agreement is subject to a number of conditions, including TSX Venture Exchange and regulatory approvals and satisfactory due diligence by Grizzly, which must be satisfied or waived by May 1, 2008 or such other date as may be agreed to by Grizzly and Mineworks.

Stock Options Issued

Grizzly's Board of Directors has granted stock options to acquire up to an aggregate 500,000 Grizzly common shares ("Shares") under the Company's stock option plan, of which 375,000 were granted to officers and directors. The stock options are exercisable at a price of $1.20 per Share.

Grizzly Announces Acquisition of Potash Permits on Saskatchewan-Alberta Border
EDMONTON, ALBERTA - (Marketwire - June 19, 2008) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD) (FRANKFURT:G6H) ("Grizzly") today is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a number of metallic mineral permits (which include the rights to subsurface potash) by application and bid process in east-central Alberta along the Saskatchewan-Alberta border. The lands acquired for potash exploration total more than 500,000 acres. Grizzly continues to review other lands for acquisition for potash exploration.

A large portion of Grizzly's potash permits exist in close proximity to or directly contain areas reported to be underlain by potash bearing beds within the uppermost portion of the Prairie Evaporite Formation. The presence of potash beds within the upper portion of the Prairie Evaporite in east-central Alberta near and along the Saskatchewan border is indicated by geological maps produced by the Alberta and Saskatchewan governments, specifically Alberta Research Council Bulletin 29 (Hamilton, 1971) and Saskatchewan Geological Survey Report 181 (Fuzesy, 1982). In addition, a number of Grizzly's permits exist in close proximity to a reported occurrence of potash minerals in a deep well (VCO #15) in the Vermilion area of east-central Alberta. The author reporting the occurrence suggests that the potash mineral "sylvite exists in substantial quantities" "throughout the first 50 feet of the Prairie Evaporite" (Golden, B.Sc., 1965). The author also suggests the potash minerals "are of the same composition and depositional sequence and depth as the potash at Unity and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan", currently the location of a number of potash mines. The reported occurrence of potash minerals is at a depth of approximately 1,061 m below surface. The company has initiated a detailed compilation of historic exploration, including oil and gas drilling, and seismic data for the permits leading to a National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report.

"We are extremely pleased to have acquired a large block of potential potash land." said Brian Testo, President and CEO of Grizzly. "We are currently in negotiations with possible joint venture partners for some of the prospective land. With our two new diamondiferous kimberlite discoveries in Alberta advancing and our evolving silver-gold projects in BC, 2008 should be a very exciting year for Grizzly Diamonds."

Grizzly Diamonds is an aggressive Canadian exploration company focused on exploring for diamonds and industrial minerals in Alberta and precious metals in North America. It currently holds diamond properties in the Buffalo Head Hills, Birch Mountains and Pelican Mountain areas of Alberta totaling over 3 million acres which host kimberlites. In British Columbia, the Company has five precious-base metal properties totaling over 95,000 acres.

Brian Testo, President & CEO of Grizzly Diamonds will record a "Beyond The Press Release" on the Company's official Investor Relations Site at http://www.agoracom.com/ir/grizzly, in which the above developments will be discussed in detail. The recording is expected to be available on or after June 20, 2008.

....mal ein comm. eines SH- users zu den jüngsten NEWS......

Copy from other board

ok everybody help me straighten this plethora of news that GZD had so far this week..

1. July 07 - 50,000 acre JV with Shear Minerals Ltd.
2. July 07 - 50,000 acre JV with Nordic Diamonds Ltd.
3. July 08 - 50,000 acre JV with Takara Resources Ltd

Now, having said all that, on June 19, GZD announced that

* The lands acquired for potash exploration total more than 500,000 acres. Grizzly continues to review other lands for acquisition for potash exploration.

So far GZD has JV'd 150,000 acres, if my math is accuate, that leaves about 350,000 left for GZD. Considering, 3 releaes in 2days, i have a feeling we can surely anticpate some more deals!. i have to say it again..Mr. Testo..aka da Griz really is a smart cookie:D

Potash Price May Almost Double to $900/Ton on Limited Supply

By Theresa Tang

July 8 (Bloomberg) -- Potash prices may almost double to $900 a metric ton excluding freight costs over the next two to three years amid higher food demand and limited supplies of the soil nutrient, Potash One Inc. said.

``There are no new mines in the pipeline in the next five years,'' Paul Matysek, chief executive officer of Potash One, a Canadian exploration company, said at an industry conference in Shanghai today.

Potash reached a record this year amid a global shortage of crops used for food, animal feed and biofuels. Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc., the largest producer, Israel Chemicals Ltd., Germany's K+S AG and OAO Uralkali of Russia more than tripled contract prices for China to $567 a ton in April.

``Demand is expected to be driven by developing countries such as China, Brazil and India,'' Matysek said. ``Their dietary preferences are changing to protein-oriented from starch- oriented.''

China, the world's biggest grain grower and consumer, Brazil and India made up almost half of global imports of the fertilizer in 2007, according to the International Fertilizer Industry Association.

Fertilizers using potash, the common name for potassium chloride, improve crop yield by helping plants absorb nitrogen, use water and sunlight more efficiently, and fight insects and disease.

Exploration Update for Grizzly's BC Precious and Base Metal Properties
Wednesday July 23, 2:16 pm ET
Completion of Airborne Survey and Ground Surveys

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 23, 2008) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD - News; FRANKFURT:G6H - News; "Grizzly") today is pleased to provide the following property and exploration update for a number of its 100% owned British Columbia precious and base metal properties.

Key Point Summary

- Shares Issued and Outstanding: 19,501,069

- Increased land position at the Greenwood Property to 105,600 acres

- AeroTEM III magnetic survey identified new anomalies at the Greenwood Property

- IP survey at the Peak Property indicates presence of high quality chargeability anomaly

- Drilling at the Peak Property to begin during September 2008

Greenwood Property Update

The 2,300 line-km helicopter-borne AeroTEM III magnetic and time domain electromagnetic (EM) survey that was commissioned in early May to fly Grizzly's entire Greenwood Property has been completed. In addition, ground crews provided by APEX Geoscience Ltd. have completed an initial prospecting, stream sediment and rock sampling program. A preliminary review of the airborne magnetic and EM survey data indicates the presence of a number of unexplained linear EM anomalies spatially associated with known fault and shear zones, often appearing as linear magnetic lows. In addition, a number of isolated more limited in strike length EM anomalies some of which are associated with magnetic highs and others that are not have also been identified in the preliminary data. The results from samples collected during the reconnaissance sampling program are pending.

Grizzly is also pleased to announce that it has added further lands to the signed amending option agreement ("the Agreement") dated March 1, 2008 with Mineworks Ventures Inc. (see Grizzly News Release dated June 2, 2008). A further 28,385 acres (11,485 hectares) has been added to the existing Greenwood Property, which brings the total land holding for the project to 105,600 acres (42,700 hectares). The entire project area is easily road accessible from both Greenwood and Grand Forks. The project area is host to or surrounds a number of historic mines and mineral occurrences including most notably the historic Motherlode, Sunset and Greyhound underground and open pit gold-silver-copper mines and the Copper Mountain copper-silver-gold showings. The historic Motherlode mines produced in excess of 178,000 ounces (oz) of gold (Au), 723,000 oz of silver (Ag) and 80 million pounds of copper (Cu) between 1900 and 1962. In addition, the project area surrounds and is immediately adjacent to Merit Mining Corp.'s recently commissioned Lexington-Grenoble copper-gold mine and its Greenwood Mill.

Once the final results have been received for the AeroTEM III survey and the preliminary sampling program, Grizzly plans a fall prospecting and sampling program leading to ground geophysical surveys during late 2008 or summer 2009.

Peak Property Update

Field crews have recently completed the planned Induced Polarization (IP) EM survey along with a ground magnetic and soil sampling program at the Peak Property. The preliminary results of the IP survey indicate the presence of a high quality chargeability anomaly that has a core zone that is at least 200m in strike length with a broader chargeability anomaly that is up to 450m in strike length. The anomaly has received little drilling to date and will be thoroughly tested during the upcoming 2008 drilling campaign. The results of the soil sampling survey overtop of the IP survey area are pending and will be announced once received.

Further exploration at the Peak Property during 2008 will consist of drilling to properly test the IP chargeability anomaly as well as follow-up widespread brecciation and alteration intersected during the 2007 drill program (see Grizzly News Release dated February 25, 2008). The proposed budget for the 2008 program is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000 depending upon the final results of the IP survey and soil sampling.

Grizzly Diamonds is an aggressive Canadian exploration company focused on exploring for diamonds and industrial minerals in Alberta and precious metals in North America. It currently holds more than 2 million acres in diamond properties that host diamondiferous kimberlites in the Buffalo Head Hills and Birch Mountains. It currently holds metallic minerals permits for Potash totaling more 850,000 acres along the Saskatchewan-Alberta border. In British Columbia, the Company has five precious-base metal properties totaling over 120,000 acres.

All 2008 field programs are being conducted under the supervision of Michael Dufresne, P. Geol., a principal of APEX Geoscience Ltd. and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.

Potash Corp sees no demand destruction, despite steep prices

Risingprices for potash had so far done nothing to diminish demand for thefertiliser ingredient, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan CEO Bill Doyle said on Thursday.

Presentingthe group's second quarter results, Doyle told analysts that thecompany continued to see upward pressure on prices, as global demandfor fertiliser remained strong.

Prices for potash have surged over the last year, driven by rising grain and food prices.

“We believe the records we are setting today are only the beginning,” he said.

"We don't see a peak."

Global supply remains tight, with potash inventories in North America at 41% below their five year average, Doyle said.

PotashCorp confirmed earlier this month that Canpotex, the export anddistribution business owned by Canadian potash producers, had increasedspot prices for some Asian customers to $1 000/t and higher for productto be delivered in the fourth quarter.

“Higher potash priceshave not had an impact on demand, as farmers recognise they stillgenerate significant returns on their potash investment,” Doyle said ina conference call.

“We have the opposite problem, which is we have so much demand it is exceeding the current supply, and that looks to continue.”

Toreach scientifically recommended application levels, China, India andBrazil alone would need to use an additional 25-million tons of potasha year, he said.

Potash Corp is spending billions of dollars to raise its Saskatchewan potash production capacity by almost 8-million tons a year, to 18-million tons a year, between now and the end of 2012.

"We expect these tons will be essential to global food production," Doyle said.

Thegroup reported second-quarter earnings of $905,1-million, its highestever and more than triple the profit of $285,7-million posted in thesame period a year ago.

Grizzly Diamonds Discovers 3rd New Buffalo Head Hills Kimberlite BE-03

EDMONTON, ALBERTA - (Marketwire - Oct. 3, 2008) - Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GZD) (FRANKFURT:G6H) ("Grizzly") is pleased to announce that it has intersected a third new kimberlite for 2008, BE-03, in the second hole in the current drill program on the Smoky The Bear Property in the Buffalo Head Hills region of northern Alberta.

On September 30th, the second hole in the current fall 2008 drilling program (SMB08-06) was collared to test a coincident magnetic and gravity anomaly about 400m to the northwest of the BE-02 Kimberlite. The BE-03 Kimberlite was intersected at a depth of 66m and the hole remained in kimberlite until the end of hole at 191m. The kimberlite in drillhole SMB-05 is described as ranging from a fine to coarse grained pyroclastic kimberlite with portions of the kimberlite containing visible coarse fragments of kimberlite and country rock along with olivine macrocrysts and occasional pyrope garnets and chrome diopsides. The drill is currently being moved to test what is being modeled as the center of the gravity anomaly and perhaps the central vent area for the BE-02 Kimberlite. Upon completion of the third drillhole, the drill will be moved to a separate coincident magnetic and weak gravity anomaly approximately 250 m southeast of the BE-02 Kimberlite. An image of the ground geophysical surveys is provided on Grizzly's website at www.grizzlydiamonds.com.

"We are extremely pleased to have hit a third new kimberlite for 2008 with our second hole of the fall program and to have intersected the top of the kimberlite at a depth of only 66m with kimberlite to the bottom of the hole" said Brian Testo, President and CEO of Grizzly. "This could represent a related body to the diamondiferous BE-02 and therefore provide more volume of diamondiferous kimberlite."

The Smokey The Bear Property drilling is being planned to target coincident gravity and magnetic anomalies identified in ground surveys this summer, which are in close proximately to the recently discovered BE-02 Kimberlite. A total of 54 microdiamonds were recovered from 56.6 kg of kimberlite collected from the discovery hole drilled into BE-02 in February of this year (see Grizzly News Release dated May 6, 2008). The kimberlite is described as fine-grained, pyroclastic and likely represents a distal facies of the kimberlite. The ground geophysical surveys have confirmed the presence of three distinct magnetic anomalies, of which the northern and central anomalies have spatially associated gravity anomalies and are now confirmed kimberlites. The anomalies are on the order of 200 to 250m in diameter.

The current drilling program is budgeted at approximately $500,000 and will be comprised of 6 to 10 drillholes designed to locate coarser grained facies within the BE-02 Kimberlite complex that could be associated with a central vent with the hope that it may contain more abundant and coarser grained diamonds. In addition, the program has been designed to test whether the other two coincident magnetic and gravity anomalies represent diamondiferous kimberlites, of which the northwest anomaly is now confirmed as a kimberlite.

Grizzly thinks gem counts will support bigger plans

2008-10-07 15:54 ET - Street Wire

by Will Purcell

Brian Testo's Grizzly Diamonds Ltd. is optimistic that its new kimberlites in the Buffalo Hills region of Alberta will warrant larger tests next year. Drilling this winter will depend on getting worthwhile diamond counts, but the texture of the latest kimberlite cores is particularly encouraging. The scale of the program will also depend on Grizzly's ability to claw more cash out of its backers.

The plan

Grizzly is continuing its fall drill program on the Smoky the Bear property, which it gnawed away from Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. It picked up some of its latest chunks while Ashton was busy trying to fend off a hostile bid from Stornoway Diamond Corp. Some of that ground is now paying off. Mr. Testo said that Grizzly intends to drill about three more holes this fall. One of the tests will target a new anomaly that the company will dub BE-04 if it proves to be a kimberlite. The company will also drill two holes into BE-02, which was the more promising of two pipes found this past winter.

Grizzly added one new pipe this fall, at BE-03, suggesting it now has a good idea of how to pick kimberlites out of its geophysical data. That would bode well for the final anomaly becoming BE-04. Its proximity to the other pipes also helps, as nearly all of the more than three dozen Buffalo Hills kimberlites occur in tight clusters of bodies.

Grizzly will be running low on cash once it wraps up its fall drilling at Smoky the Bear and a metals play in British Columbia. Mr. Testo said he would not finance his stock at 60 cents, suggesting that a big winter drill program on the existing finds would be contingent on getting good diamond counts.

Mr. Testo is an intersting story. He spent most of his life as a welder working on the pipelines in Northern Alberta, not hobnobbing with brokers or bankers on Bay Street. Nevertheless, he has been proving adept at coming up with the money to keep Grizzly drilling. He recently sold 870,000 new shares at an average of 93 cents each, and most of the money went to one new, unnamed, private backer.

One of Mr. Testo's key supporters since Grizzly was a toothless cub was 66-year-old Brian Elkow, but he died earlier this year. Mr. Elkow, who ran a hotel and a fast food franchise in Whitecourt, was a director of Grizzly and he owned just over two million of Grizzly's 21 million shares.

Mr. Testo has been his own biggest booster over the years. He made well over $1-million investing in resource plays since he quit the pipelines in 2001, and he has been plowing much of it back into Grizzly. Mr. Testo now holds nearly four million shares.
( das sind nahezu 25 % der ausgeb. shares - sehr respektabel!!!!)

The encouragement

Grizzly should have more than enough kimberlite to determine if any of the BE series of kimberlites warrant mini-bulk testing this winter, and to help keep the company's shares above Mr. Testo's 60-cent threshold. Mr. Testo said he expected to send more than one tonne of core off for diamond recovery.

Much of that rock will come from BE-02, where Grizzly produced promising diamond counts from about 56 kilograms of rock earlier this year. That material came from what the company's geologist calls a pyroclastic tuff, something the non-geological but better communicator Mr. Testo calls "the lip."

That material was quite fine, and Grizzly's latest cores come from the main diatreme -- "the gut" according to Mr. Testo -- and its texture is considerably coarser. It also has plenty of indicator minerals to add encouragement. Coarse-grained kimberlite samples from other pipes in Saskatchewan and Alberta have produced the best grades so far, with fine-grained rock yielding considerably lower diamond counts. That has both Mr. Testo and his geologist anxiously waiting for the new diamond results.

Grizzly closed down a cent to 91 cents Monday on 1,100 shares.
